I had my hernia surgery four months ago and I’ve already surpassed my physique from pre-surgery. You’ll do great brother, just don’t rush it! I’ll say prayers for you 🙏
I ace too
Pls tell why and how hernia occurs
Im going gym will i get?
My father grandfather everybody had
What happened to him
@@parthasarathy5222 Hey dude. I've had that too, it depends on the hernia. Some may be caused by excessive pushing (I don't know that much about those but my dad had one because of his line of work), some are just genetics acting up (it was my case, nothing you can do about it). Good news is, there has been much progress in treatment now. Your dad and granddad probably have a big scar on their belly, now it's just three tiny little holes, barely visible. Other good news is, it heals quickly. 2 months out (including one in bed, true), then you can progressively get back to sports if it does happen. I haven't felt anything bad eversince, even though it was a wake up call for me and I've been spamming sports (bike, gym, parkour, fencing). Take care ! :)
@g0r467 thanks sir for reply 🙏
We all love you noel, get through it safe man :)

I had a rough childhood growing up which caused me to have a food addiction. That snowballed into heavy depression, self harm and many suicide attemps.
One day you randomly came up in my shorts around 2 years ago. The video was you telling people to not be ashamed to show their physical accomplishments. I liked your content and I kept on watching your other videos over the next few months, more and more fitness content started being recommended to me. One day I said enough was enough. I jumped into fitness without any knowledge and I went on a stupid anorexia diet and did a shit ton of cardio (Which of course failed because it wasn't sustainable. I would alternate between overeating and anorexia every couple months). I was deadly afraid of going to the gym so I went to the park to exercise instead until you told me how gym culture was accepting of everyone. Fast forward a year and a half after I began my weight loss journey and I lost 17kg while gaining a lot of muscle. I went from being 132kg at 40-45% body fat to 115kg at 33% body fat as of today. I learned a lot about nutrition and I now have a blanced diet.
I don't think I'd be here if I didn't see your UA-cam short that day and I just wanted to thank you for it. I wanted to let you know that you emotionally supported a lot of people at times of need when you started UA-cam and now;we are here to emotionally support you. Hope you have a fast recovery ❤
We are proud of you.
This made me a little emotional reading this. Thank you for sharing this incredible message and story with me.

Aye man in proud of you but I'm genuinely curious and don't mean any disrespect. If you don't want to answer I understand cause it would be a pretty traumatic experience, but what do you mean by suicide attempts?
As a someone who's had 2 illiostomy's and an abdominal reconstruction to fix a major naval hernia, i am cheering for your successful surgery and full recovery! let your body heal itself with time and stay hopeful because we're all rooting for you! Praying for you lots, big bro!
Hey Noel. I'm only 13, and have had 4 surgerys already for something called HMO (Hereditary Multiple Osteochondromas) and I just want you to know you are one of my biggest inspirations to keep going even when times are tough. I want to thank you so much for the inspiration. Good luck on your surgery, Noel.
damn kid, you have all my respect, God bless you

Stay strong young young man. I have some surgeries in the past 21 was quite extensive hang in there you'll be fine I've been training for 60 years and I'm 72 and I'm still banging the iron I watch your podcast all the time you're the best.
If you can get. Thought that then it means you can get to the gym good on ya bro
I wish you the best in your recovery, Noel! I had 65% of my colon removed 6 years ago (Cancer) and I have mesh in my abs. I got down to 165 lbs. I was also having chemo. Recovery was tough, but today I weigh 210, still Cancer free, and I workout 3x a week. I’m with you as you document your recovery. Thanks for sharing!
May I ask, how did you get through it without getting bitter about the cards that life threw at you?
@@DeusPsycho I was depressed and bitter about stresses in my life, for years leading up to the Cancer diagnosis. I ate poorly and became an alcoholic, which probably caused Cancer. The diagnosis, colon surgery, chemo, ostomy bag for 7 months, and surgery to reconnect the remaining colon forced me to adopt a healthy lifestyle. I have been eating healthy and been sober for more than 7 years now. Honestly, I would have been bitter if I had to live with an ostomy bag situation for the rest of my life. Now I’m 63, and live my life one healthy day at a time, while appreciating my family and friends. Thanks for asking. I wish you good health and happiness!

its literally impossible to not absolutely love this man
He is a genuine sweetheart ❤
So I'm pretty active in the fitness community, but have never really consumed much of Noel's content. It wasn't until recently that I began to see legions of fans espouse how much they genuinely love this man that I decided to start watching his content. Tbh I've still not seen much, but there has to be something special about a guy, that receives nothing but love from the most toxic community online; the fitness community. I haven't seen exactly what that *IT* is, but whatever that *IT* is, this man must have it. Seriously I have no idea why this man is so loved, but I feel as if I should love him, given how much this community genuinely fkn loved this man. I thought it was some inside joke that I wasn't aware of but no, it's legit love.

Hey Noel, please don't be ashamed of any scars you get from this Surgery. Scars show your Strength and Tenacity, I am covered in Surgery Scars but I would never even think about covering them up. You will do fine, I know because you are the strongest person I've ever met on this Platform, and I don't mean Physical strength. Good luck on your recovery Noel❤
Recovery series would suit your character really well. Honestly. Everyone who's gone through injuries knows how much trying to recover from it sucks. Feels like there's no strength whatsoever and it affects so many other exercises than just the exact muscle/joint/tendon that was injured. You've been such an honest, empathetic and positive influence that you could really help people get through their injuries with wisdom around recovering from your personal injury here.
That’s what I hope to achieve
Thank you for the encouragement
@@NoelDeyzel I've been feeling down in the dumps multiple times after an injury, although it has been either my ankle, knee or hip every time. It's surprising how mentally challenging it can get even with not being a competitive bodybuilder/lifter or doing this for a living. It's also something that there really aren't that many motivational videos or informational videos about. Not for the mental or for the physical side of things. 🙍🏻
I strained my right side abdominals from pull ups and it lasted about 2 weeks and I was scared I had a hernia and it wrecked my routine and my confidence, I can only imagine what he's feeling I hope he is helping well as I type this
@@NoelDeyzel and I'm back in this video. Blew my back out while deadlifting yesterday (237,5kg for a few reps, first set was good, second sets second rep felt good until suddenly a POP) and spent last night in immense pain in both my legs. F*****ck

Literally the most perfectly timed video for me. Having shoulder issues and might need to go see a surgeon. I haven't been able to lift for upper body for 2 weeks and most of my thoughts all day go back to "I want to lift so I don't lose muscle". You really know how to calm our minds on issues that people that don't lift can't understand and for that I thank you. Good luck and praying for a fast recovery for you.
Physiotherapist here. Don't worry too much about your muscle mass. If you undergo surgery, you will most likely lose some, but regaining muscle is several times easier than gaining it in the first place. Even minimal strength training once a week will delay atrophy even further. The worst thing you can do is overestimate your recovery, even if you're pain free. Messing up recovery from surgery can exacerbate the injury to a worse point than before. I lift myself and had to get surgery in both my shoulders (removed AC joint) because a bench collapsed from under me during dumbbell presses, where 50 kg. dumbbells dropped on each of my shoulders. I could lift again in 3 months, but NOT ANYTHING remotely resembling my PR. That just takes time, but our muscles are definitely forgiving. I almost didn't lose any mass. I'm sure you can do it!
@LeBionArc sorry to hear about your shoulders. Sounds horrible. That's great information though and I appreciate it and the words of wisdom. Definitely hard to stay out of the gym once you get in a rhythm and get addicted to it.
@@coreyorndoff9417 thanks mate. Surgery should be the last resort. If you're able to train yourself out of an injure, that's way better. Surgery near joints also increases the risk of arthritis significantly. If your problem is rotator cuff related, there's plenty of good exercises, but seeing as you're a lifter, I'm gonna take a guess and say it's weight lifters syndrome, where pain is worsened in the top part of your shoulder when you move your elbows behind your body or cross your arm to the other side. That's not to be taken lightly. If that's the case, dips is a no go during recovery, same as flat bench. A slight incline during bench may help a lot, since your elbows don't go behind your body as much in an incline position.
We love you noel, we will all get through it with you together by supporting you with all our love! ❤ you man!
Noel, your a great inspiration to all of us, I hope you feel better and surgery goes well❤
