@@MF88888 Yes and that’s a very good point!! So this is what I’ve done since then is, I wear an LBE setup now with my backpack. With a small survival kit in my pocket. I’m going to do a video on my 3 tier system soon. I’m kind of adopting a similar system to what the British use. Thanks for the comment!
I modified my ruck after watching this video. I do hate cutting anything from a military pack so in the process of replacing the waist belt it occurred to me to remove the fastex buckles and save them and the tuck the existing waistbelt inside the back of the pack. Then I ran the new belt through the pack. Without the buckles the new belt went through without any problems. This way I can always revert back.
That’s awesome! Sounds like your project was a success! Good call on tucking the waist belt! I like having quick access to my canteens and this MOD worked great for me. Glad to hear your story my friend!!! Cool!!!
I have that same belt. I REally like it for a light pistol belt. It would be fine for your pack too but Iam leary of running much thru that webbing on it. It feels kinda light.
Great job
Nice setup Scout. It's great to show folks. How to modify your kit. Gets the creative juices flowing. Lol. Cheers 🍻 bro
In my years of adventure seeking, tweaking kit has really added to its enjoyment! Have a great day my friend!
Good idea, but the only thing is that if you have to ditch the backpack you loose everything 😨

The bottom holes on the sheath you could zip tie it to the Molle on the pouch. My idea but what works for you of course.
That’s a good idea! Thanks for the suggestion!

Yes the webbing isn’t as great as some belts out there but it has held up so far. Have a great day my friend and thanks for your comment!
