The reminder to not hold the pages up vertically sounded like it was from someone who did it and got a lap full of dried plant material. Also does the collection have a separate section for angiosperms like magnolias that don’t fit in monocots or dicots? I always wondered how collections group plants like that.
More specifically, the collection is organized into monocots and "non-monocots". Magnoliid and dicot families are arranged together alphabetically. If the collection was arranged taxonomically, the magnoliids would be separated. Because this is a small herbarium, this works well for us!
Wouldn't say it is impossible, however, it would be extremely challenging to support it financially. Either you would have to be very rich or would have to find sponsors to help support it.
So cool!

Is there any possibility to run herbarium museum on private basis?
