The hubby and I have been married for almost 8 years something that has gotten us through a lot of our disagreements is we’ve learned to Listen to understand rather than listen to react. Lots of times during heated arguments couples only listen to what eachother is saying so that they can have a “come back”. I swear when we changed our mentality, softened our hearts and decided to listen to understand everything changed! 🥰 such a great positive attitude to have in all sorts of situations not only in marriage!
I so agree with your statement! It is not about winning a disagreement.. It is about coming to a mutually satisfying agreement. After 25 yrs this is the best advice I could give a couple! You too are great!
You should try muddy pink/rose paint colours like farrow and ball 'sulking room' in the bathroom as it looks so gorgeous with dark wood and brings all of those country grandma vibes! it adds a really cosy old feel and looks great with green! Also just found out that pink was traditionally used in ladies boudoir's so ties in with the wisteria room being your writing room!!

I was so happy listening to the audio version of your book while I was in the hospital. It cheered me up so much. I will put the book in my spa tub book holder, and will treat myself to a long soak, some spa music, a nice candle and start your book. You know that feeling of the smell of a new book, and reading the first page.
You can color match your paint to any fabric….take a swatch of your curtain or wallpaper and they can color match the green paint! I have done it twice now and it has turned out perfect both times!😊
