There all Great rifles , I've bought and sold many of em but never parted with my old HW35 made in 1977 , I've had it 35 years myself and I could write a book about it , many adventures with it and plenty of meals from it ,, great channel mate 👍👍💥
A guy in the gun shop near me told me the HW35 is still the most popular air rifle in Germany or maybe he meant most units sold there over the years. Weihrauch were supposed to stop producing them when they brought out the HW80k but because they kept selling so well they kept making them.
I have to say, I've watched your videos and told myself he's biased to a brand. I've owned Diana, Hatsan, Ruger/Umarex and Gamo. While Gamo has proven to be oa roll of the dice, the Ruger/Umarex is decent, Hatsan steady and the Diana great. But I finally got a HW95 in .22 from someone on AGN for a great price. I have to say I totally understood and agree the HW95 is an absolute joy. Very accurate to 25 yards open sights and after adding my Bug Buster I'm hole on hole out to 60 yards. Easy cocking pull and great weight. Thanks for your videos and it will become my Squirrel, Rabbit getter for a long time.
Believe me I get it. I have many budget ones as well. But the HW95 has made me way more snobbish with air rifles than I should be hahaha. Honestly, before I got the HW95, my $50 pawn shop find the Ruger/Umarex Air Max Elite in .22 was my most used and favorite.
Gamo 440 hunter and 220 from 1990’s are great ,, light weight easy cocking and powerful they are small but they do almost 1000 FPS and accurate, there is a good review in , AIRGUN DETECTIVES, UA-cam channel…
You’ve got a whole store! 😂Most informative and well done review on the internet, bar none! Very well done! Thank you for taking your time! I love your love for springers!
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 Soon as the weather clears here. The high desert east of San Diego had a ton of rain and mountains had snow. Been closed out of my areas I hunt for about a month now. But when the weather clears I know it's going to be a target rich area.
Almost 30 years owning my rifle and it is still working great and puts out well over the rated 850 fps in .20. I have the leather Beeman sling for easier field carry.
I just gave my brother my Hw95 . I just got a hw97kt . We did some shooting and the 97 is definitely just for the bench. I miss my 95 for the future walk around plinking so I ordered hw98 in .20 cal i know it’s still got more weight than the 95 but a tad more power and an adjustable cheek. I ordered a hw80 for my brother in-law so I can convince him to just recycle his hatsan with the horrible trigger. Anyway, I love the German build quality and amazing trigger design on the Weihrauch. I just can’t shoot anymore junk pellet guns. I will eventually probably own every HW possible. Had a blast with the whole family just shooting pellet guns all day for thanksgiving. Great videos👍
A few days ago I got a old HW25 from my father, who got it from my uncle. It was my uncles first air rifle which he got it when he was 10 years old and he is almost 49 now! I have orderd some spare parts and I need to oil it becaus I need to fire twice for one pellet to leave the barrel! Still a fun and cool looking rifle.😊
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 I got my pakage deliverd earlier this day. I orderd some spare pieces and a cleaning kit. I cleaned the bore, and the rubber barrel seal was definitly in need of replacing. I got it out and it fell apart as little pieces hard as rock!😅 (I think it is called dryrotted but I don’t know, English is not my first language.) It fires good again now. I shot some paper practice targets, a few small clay pipes and a empty can. It shattered the clay pipes and put some holes in the can! 😁 I will have a lot of fun with this rifle in the future! Maybe in the future if I get more into this hobby I can get a better air rifle, but for now I have no need for that. I don’t know how special this rifle is, but I know it is special to me! 😊
@@ISAG That's awesome!😃👍 BTY your English writing is perfect! I got a Beeman Falcon 2 / Norica 73 from a friend that had the same type of piston seal that you are speaking of. The old one was shattered, and he had a replacement one that I put in and that shattered, lol.😆 I ordered a new one and that one worked perfectly!🙂 Be careful, airguns are addictive, lol.😃👍🎯
Hey Chuck, Thanks for this video reply to my questions and comments. It's very much appreciated!!! Travis, (Oh Shoot UA-cam channel), did a similar video regarding affordably priced airguns for pest control and teaching young kids basic firearms safety, a few months ago when my son and I were really getting into watching videos about airguns and were trying to research which platforms to start with. I don't have a UA-cam channel. Ken Fan is my actual name. I'm just a guy who has young kids who are about to get into shooting airguns once we move back to the US. The reason I asked so many questions about Weirauch airguns is because I realized after watching your videos and following up on your answers and watching other UA-cam channels on the subject, that you are right, they are beautiful works of art, built well and solid. And besides giving my kids some of my old synthetic stock airguns that I wouldn't mind if they scratched or dinged, I wanted them to have something of heirloom quality. Since I have two kids, I have to buy two of everything, but like you, I also have a lot of bills to pay and I'm on a limited budget. Anyway, thanks again. Stay Safe. Be Well. GOD BLESS.
Thank you Ken. You might have to look around for good deals. I know that Krale will save you about 100 dollars. I thought Ken Fan was most likely your name, but I didn't know for sure.
A great in-door video. Given South Dakota weather right now, good choice. Appreciate the experienced opinion to help not making a mistake when considering a purchase of any of these rifles. Given the price, a mistake would hurt. Thanks.
Really interesting tour Chuck, thanks. I've shot a few Weihrauch rifles over the years but not owned one yet. I quite like the 77, seems good value. Drew.
Thank you Drew. The HW77 is so solid and accurate, built like a tank. I definitely think that you would like it, especially tuned😃👍. BTW Hatsan 95 22 has been ordered, now pray 🙏 that I get a good one.
This one was just as good the second time I watched it. Good to get experienced insight before putting money down and maybe not buying what I actually wanted.
I hope that you get what you are looking for. My HW80 is the least pellet picky rifle that I own. I also hear that many people prefer the 177 to the 22.
Nice collection, I bought my first weihrauch mid 80s being a HW80mk 1 in 22 calibre.I still have this. My second is a Hw97kt in 177 calibre and have owned this just over a year. I would say the 80 is the lightweight of the 2.I have on back order a Hw98s in 22 calibre so can't wait for that to arrive in the next couple of months. As you say really love their attention to detail and workmanship. Keep up the videos good work.
Paul lives in my home town in San Angelo Texas bro. I have 3 weihrauch's awesome rifles only two issues the springs and piston seals Vortek are awesome probably shot my hw95 luxus maybe 10,000 rounds and still holding up with spring and seal.
I spoke to a German Weihrauch representative many years ago, and he pronounced it like "Vhyroww" if that helps. Nice collection. I shoot a 70's R7 in .177, a 70.s R1 in .20, and an 80's R9 in .22. Very fine rifles. The true gems of my collection. All of them are "one ragged hole" rifles at their proper ranges with the right pellets.
A beautiful collection Chuck and good to hear your description of each one. Would love to hear more about you winning the pyramid air back yard brawl. That sounds like a great achievement. Thank you for a great video and take care.
Thank you Paul 🙂👍. I will leave a link of the video with Pyramid Air Backyard Brawl, not the best lol. This was when I was really getting into air rifles and had Super Magnum Springer Fever lol. ua-cam.com/video/nImH6sTvN0U/v-deo.html
Thanks for your input and experience on these fine air rifles. I have three air guns but not a Weihrauch so I appreciate your knowledge/experience. Great sweatshirt. John 14:6
A Beeman P-3 single pump that has an incredible two stage trigger. A Crosman 2300S which uses CO2 and a Crosman 2289 multi pump. Each one has their own pros and cons. Matthew 10:28
Another great, honest video. Thank you! I have the HW80 SLK you referred to and I actually bought it after you answered another question I had on your video about the cocking effort of the Hatsan 125 compared to the HW80. I love the HW80SLK. Its overall length is only about 40 inches and it has the nice stock of the HW77K as you mentioned. It has quite the kick I might add. I also have the HW95 Luxus in .20 and it is my favorite too compared to my other guns. I have both the HW77K and the HW97K. As you mention, very similar guns but I like the slightly slimmer forestock of the HW97 compared to the HW77K. To complete my arsenal, I need to get the HW30S like you as it seems like a great, light, fun gun. Keep the great videos and info coming. Happy New Year.
Thank you so much Jon!😃👍 I'm betting that your 80 will smooth out over time, but a DIY or professional tune kit will make a difference. I used the pop bottle shim for my spring guide and that made a world of difference. My HW30s also needed to be shimmed. Great rifle's! I think that you will love the HW30s.
Thanks so much for the input. Though I am handy with cars and fixing things, I am afraid if I took the gun apart I would never get it back to together!! Then I would really be in a pickle! I am definitely looking for the HW30S. Perfect for my 10 meter range in my basement. Keep up the great work and thank you!@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611
I have a .177 wooden stocked 97KT,it's super accurate up to 60yds, UK 12ft/lbs limit but 60 yds is OK. You should be aware, the barrel you have on your gun is not stainless steel it's coated so treat it as you would with a blued barrel. When finished, wipe it down followed by a thin wipe with gun oil,the gun will last for ever. It's a great gun, enjoy.
Hi from Uk, I really enjoyed watching your video, you have some nice guns. I own a similar collection including two of your guns plus the HW97k which is deadly accurate and built to last a lifetime, unlike many of the Chinese rifles on the market currently. And of course unbeatable German engineering 👍.
Most of those Gamo are terrible as well, for me since I was a kid build quality & value for money there's Weihrauch and then there's everyone else when it comes to spring guns.
@@jimmynich4791 couldn't agree more 👌 weihrauchs are always quality. My two were bought second hand, iv had them years an use them regularly and they're still like brand new. Definitely worth paying a little bit more an having something that'll out live you with hardly any tlc required 🎯
@@mikemessy5279 I've had quite a few over the years but only 3 at the moment, one of them I haven't picked up yet, going to get it on Tuesday, forest green laminate HW77k. I think it's worth paying the extra but I suppose what's readily available in your area comes into play as well, shame cos everyone should be able to buy a weihrauch/beeman.
I have several Weihrauch rifles and pistols and they are definitely the most well-built spring air guns you can get (that includes my Air Arms Pro Sport). The smoothest shooting and most adjustable Weihrauch I have is the HW90. It has a Theoben gas ram piston that is a dream to shoot and extremely easy to work on and tune. You need to purchase a hand pump (with an inline gauge) to tune the gun the way you want it. I can adjust mine from 6-foot pounds for indoor plinking up to around 19-foot pounds for hunting (26 bar max fill). I shoot mine at 20 bar which gives me 13.2 foot pounds with a 10.3 grain pellet. I shoot it at this power level because it is a tack driver at that power level, and I use it for target shooting with open sights. My rear sight is a Williams receiver sight with an adjustable diopter (I removed the factory rear sight). I also have a Beeman RX2 that I shoot at 26 bar and get 18-foot pounds for hunting (same gas ram). These guns are so smooth to cock and shoot it is unreal. If you ever get a chance to shoot or own one of these guns you will not be disappointed. Keep up with the great videos.
I had the full power HW90 and sold it after about 100 shots. It wasn’t very accurate with any pellet I had, heavy to cock and irons were useless because of the high comb. My 30,50 and 95are much more accurate and fun to shoot.
I have two 95k’s in 22 and 177 and they are awesome rifles I also have the 99s in 22 and that is my grab and shoot gun for the odd pesky rats that appear in my garden. But my most accurate and my favourite is my Hw 97 blue laminate in 22 and that is pin point accurate, it’s the most heavy of them all but sat on a set of primos gen 3 trigger sticks you can’t really miss your target. Great review thanks for sharing your thoughts on amazing Weihrauch’s.
I agree with the other comment ... get you self an old 35E , and have a play with it , sharpen it up ... good old nostalgia rifle... loads of fun , and be the envy of of your shooting pals 😀
Iv had more than a few air rifles and pistols of different types and makes and the two I'll never part with are the HW97KT and my HW45 pistol both in .22 and both just super reliable and top quality 👌 they'll last forever and just need a tin of pellets, most pellets work just fine too not too fussy.
I had a hw 77k when I was about 14yrs old, 40 years ago...oooo man that was a heavy rifle and that spring noise was horrendous ..had loads of fun with it though..
Dr. Russ Air Rifle Adventures says not to set them up or on the rack like that but instead to have them barrel pointed down. Don't know how important it is but it's what I do.
@@vashmatrix5769 I actually store them in a gun cabinet butt down and have done so for years with no problems. My guess is he stores his rifles that way, so that the oils don't go into the butt stock? He seems like a nice guy, but he says some things about air rifles that are not true.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 Seemed to me from memory a while back, it was that & it's more so the little bits of dust & debris from barrel don't settle on top then get sucked into the piston. Me being a guitar guy I just wasn't going to put it on a rack & possibly get a slow curve but I took his advice anyway since I don't know if it matters but it can't hurt it to point it down. What comes to mind that he has been wrong about?
@@vashmatrix5769 It's not a major, but he made a statement that shorter barrels were not as accurate as longer barrels. If this is true then Air Arms are doing it wrong. If the engineers of Air Arms, Weihrauch and other high end airgun manufacturers are making the best rifles in the world with shorter barrels, then I believe them over Dr Russ. Also I don't believe that minuscule of dust that might make it into the barrel and possibly on top of a piston will make a bit of difference. Like I said I think that he is a nice guy, but I don't think he has all of the airgun answers. Personally, I watch from people who I believe are the best in the airgun world, like Paul Capello, Jim Chapman and Steve at AEAC.
Very nice guns I like the blueing on them hardly anybody does a nice blueing anymore. I've always had PCPs. I need to give a Springer a chance and learn that they're harder.
Have practically the same gun rack. Was a real agony ( France ) to be able to buy one. Now that I have the right molds I can make more myself. If there ever comes a crazy discount like recently the BSA from Krale, an HW is still on my list.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 After two weeks I am extremely satisfied with my BSA GRT Meteor Evo.22. . Although it is clearly visible that it is a marriage between a Gamo and a BSA, I honestly say that this child shoots much better than my other three Gamos. The barrel should be clearly BSA and personally I think the gas ram could be of a different type as well. I'll wait a little longer to play doctor to see the inside of it. It was once again one of the umpteenth impulse purchases, but I have not regretted my converted $ 143 (including VAT) expense for a minute. The wooden stock is still my preference.
Very nice collection. As far as power goes around the 875 fps mark is ideal from what I've read. The closer it gets to transonic the more unstable the pellet is. A projectile will stabilize again at mach 1.5. That being said. I can't really afford to spend that much on an air rifle but I will eventually. I'm glad your channel is doing well. God bless.
Thank you so much!😃👍 So much science goes into the flight of a pellet; the rifling, weight, size, shape and speed of the pellet leaving the muzzle. So much science, it's over my head, lol. Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my video! God bless you and have a great weekend!😃👍
You can get some great deals on used, depends where abouts you are but I'd rather get a used Weihrauch/Beeman than a brand new cheaper brand, one or two exceptions, Cometa are not bad.
Hi just saw a vid where someone had the same problem as you with his Gamo ie breach catch , he inserted a strip cut from a plastic bottle on the underside of the catch , hope you get this and its of help , cheers for now stay safe.
@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 I thought it could be you but worth a try, funny things happen 😄 as I said before have you looked at the HW 35k ? They are a bit on the heavy side but I really like mine , managed to get laminate stock version, trust you and your family had a good weekend cheers for now
I had Hatsan springers with the quatro trigger, but it is no match for a Weihraugh Rekord unit. They do have nice hardwood stocks though. If you like the HW30 you will also like the HW50 😁
I like all springer's, and I also think Weihrauch is the best, and would definitely like to get an HW50. I really can have fun with about anything. I finished up a shooting session this morning with my HW95 Luxus 22 and then the Hatsan 95 22 using open sights on an empty tin, lots of fun 🙂👍
wonderful collection 👍🏻 I personally prefer the hw97 but I also had the hw 77, it didn't have a suppressor but otherwise the same, if my heart desires one it's the hw80 in 22, it's just a monster, when I can shoot at 100 m with my 97 what can hw80 do? 👍🏻👍🏻 great job
Hi .ive got 10 Weihrauch springers 🙄--love them all….all highly tuned .Paul Short --Venom --Liquid Steel Design and Arc- BUT I’ve recently bought a 1982 HW77 full of patina and browned barrel ( history marks as I like to call them) ..bought it from an old bloke that had it from new and he had it tuned from new ..that rifle will shoot as well as any of the rifles in my cabinet and I only paid £180 for it with original one piece Mount and a Japanese 3-9x40 scope and original leather sling which was unused. Also found a an a1981 HW80 (Venom tuned) that had been left in the rifle cabinet .totally original with all open sights ..original Weihrauch were built by engineers..the new one by accountants 🙄..which one would I keep - the old ( vintage) HW77 that’s my keeper .new UK sub
The HW30/R7 is about the most accurate sit in your lawn chair and shoot flys off the dog doodoo at 20 yd fly shooter a guy can get. Dog not included. Great video BTW.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 I will try it for sure and it makes sense thinking about it. I do not shoot it as much as you your rifles and may just last forever.
Interesting video. I don't know if you can get an HW98 in the States, but would definately try one of these , if you can. The 98 is basically a 95 with an adjustable stock (with stippling) and has a heavy barrel sleeve which really helps stability on the shot. BTW Weihrauch is pronounced VI-RARK. Interesting content on your channel - sub added.
'Weih' sounds like the sir name of the guitarist Steve Vai and rhymes with 'why', 'rau' sounds like row (as in a heated argument) and rhymes with 'now' 'ch' is a soft sound, like if a word ends in 'ck' but air is allowed past your tongue (think how Scottish people pronounce the word 'Loch'). 'Weihrauch' can be roughly interpreted as 'Holy Smoke'.

I’ve one of the first 77 carbine 177 , the best springer also restored with a top hat conversion , it shoots very accurate , and latest is gas 410 carbine air arms walnut left hand , also very accurate and very quiet , my tow go to air rifles 👍,
I purchased the HW 95 LUXUS in Germany...they say there is an export spring that can be purchased to make it shoot stronger....since I am leaving Germany back to West Virginia...what spring do you recommend to give it the power of yours... ..I am with you on all your Weihrauch Rifles.. I noticed on mine that the cheek piece is to high for shooting with iron sights...took it to the Factory in Germany...they wanted to replace the stock with the HW 80...I DID NOT WANT THIS SO I SCOPED IT.
I have a Vortec spring and piston seal in mine. I put a shim in my in my spring guide, but if you don't mind spending a little more, you could buy the Vortec kit for it 🙂👍.
The hw97 seems great but way too heavy especially if you are planning and overnighter or need to bring a bunch of other gear + hilly terrain forget about it. Think I'll go with a lighter option
It's a Hammers mount and scope. The mounts come with the scope. Some people think that a one piece mount is a must, but I really have not seen the difference. BTW Hammers scopes are a pretty good budget scope for magnum springers.😃👍
Well ,Heard about these suckers around 1969,,should have bought one then ,,,my German friend Rudi Seiber recommendded them,,course they were expensive then at £28 ,just bought one new now ,,for £369, and its the best springer in the world and of the highest quality you can expect, with the stunning accuracy you may expect from a wonderful manufacturer which has not changed steel for plastic ,,,10 stars
Really a nice collection of guns , I think I have the exact same riffle rack , I should hang it and use it . What so you think about the underlever ? Is it really more accurate or rather do you feel like barrel droop is an issue and can you discern the difference with sighting in on your scope. I had one riffle with such bad droop I had to shim the scope because I couldn't get the elevation low enough.
HW 97 is quite heavy, The HW 77 is an excellent alternative, however the underlever HW 57 has a curious loading system, a pop up loading port. However, I'm being pulled away from my HW 100 TK pcp by the prospect of acquiring a HW90 break barrel gas ram.
Based on your personal preferential rating I'd say you could use an HW50S. The only question is whether to go with .177 or .22 ? 🤔 Kinda depends on what range your Skwerls 🐿️believe they're safe at ? 😂 Mine are kinda confident and come close in... 😏 Never the less just a Great, light, easy handling rifle. The Hawke Vantage 2-7×32 AO IR Is more than enough for the task, but the Airmax 2-7 does give you a wider field of view and is better in low light dawn and dusk situations. Still the Vantage is an excellent value and perfectly suited to the HW50S. 😉👍
With all of these... it probably doesn't matter. Get the size that you are most comfortably with and you are set for life in regard to a springer. I prefer the underlever style, but that is personal preference. I don't think I'm a good enough shot to find a difference in break barrel and fixed barrel models.
I know you chose the 95 for rabbit hunting survival but if I wanted the 80 could I go wrong for distance? I saw you recommended the 80 over 95 in a video 3 moths ago for cans at 100 yards. Do you think the HW 80 is best at 75 to 100 yard hunting out of the 4? I feel the farther I shoot the less they run away if there's a couple of them.
The only problem with real long-distance shots, is shot placement. Other considerations is how heavy of a rifle you are going to carry for a long time during your hunt. To me the HW80 feels like a tank when I have carried it for a couple of hours, while the HW95 is more manageable, being lighter and shorter. Whatever range you think you are going to hunt at, you should have an object about as small as a golf ⛳ ball to practice on. I would not use a golf ball for safety, use a ping pong ball instead. If you can repeatedly hit a ping pong ball at 100 yd then you're good to go 😃👍.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 Great answer. If you were able to review the best gun you have for 50 and 75 yards and 100 a comparison that be amazing I'm not worried about the heavy weight personally but what's most accurate at least up to 75 yards :) But I do see where the shorter lighter gun is more convenient. I really just want to be able to have the longest range gun. For survival. Also the further I take the shots the less likely they'll spook and I can get more than one critter.
@@thegiantswordworkout My HW80 22 gets 19 FPE and on a low wind day, from a rest, I can repeatedly shoot a soup can at 100 yards. My Walther Perrus 22 is a 25 FPE rifle and is better for cutting wind 🌬️ and I have drilled soup cans with this to at 100 yards 🙂👍. You might want to look at the Diana 350 Magnum 22 or Gamo Magnum 22 for long distance. I have been seeing some good reviews on the Gamo Swarm Magnum 22. Only problem with the Gamo Swarm Magnum is the gas piston is more affected by the cold than a steel coiled spring. I hope that helps you 🙂👍.
Generally in German the W is pronounced as a V and a V is said as an F although there might be some exceptions to that rule. It's the same in Dutch and Afrikaans too but I am not sure about Swedish, Danish and other Scandinavian languages.
A friend was cleaning out his garage and wanted to get rid of them, lol 😆. So I got 2, one on the steps going down stairs and one in the basement. I wouldn't mind having a custom made one, with wider and padded holders 🙂👍.
Yes, thank God for Jesus Christ 🙏. It was a close decision between the HW30s and HW50. The 30 will take a rabbit 🐇 or squirrel 🐿️ but I believe the 50 to be a better hunter with a few more FPE😃👍. Money is tight right now, I don't know if I will see anymore HW's coming to my back door for a while.

Easy cocking pull and great weight. Thanks for your videos and it will become my Squirrel, Rabbit getter for a long time.
Awesome, glad that you got one and that you like it!😃👍
I'm mentally deranged lol 😆, I like way too many air rifles, even the budget springers.😃👍

Still a fun and cool looking rifle.😊

I got my pakage deliverd earlier this day. I orderd some spare pieces and a cleaning kit.
I cleaned the bore, and the rubber barrel seal was definitly in need of replacing. I got it out and it fell apart as little pieces hard as rock!😅
(I think it is called dryrotted but I don’t know, English is not my first language.)
It fires good again now. I shot some paper practice targets, a few small clay pipes and a empty can. It shattered the clay pipes and put some holes in the can! 😁
I will have a lot of fun with this rifle in the future! Maybe in the future if I get more into this hobby I can get a better air rifle, but for now I have no need for that.
I don’t know how special this rifle is, but I know it is special to me! 😊

Hey Chuck,
Thanks for this video reply to my questions and comments.
Thanks.
You are welcome 😃👍. I don't believe that you can go wrong with any of them 😃👍. If you buy one, most likely you will get a nother one.

Thank you 🙂👍. The 90 sounds very nice 😃👍
Thank you Jonathan for the great comment's 😃👍

Iv had more than a few air rifles and pistols of different types and makes and the two I'll never part with are the HW97KT and my HW45 pistol both in .22 and both just super reliable and top quality 👌 they'll last forever and just need a tin of pellets, most pellets work just fine too not too fussy.

Dr. Russ Air Rifle Adventures says not to set them up or on the rack like that but instead to have them barrel pointed down. Don't know how important it is but it's what I do.
Thank you 🙂👍. Not to sound rude, but I don't care about what Dr Russ says, lol.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 I was at least curious about his reasons.

It is extremely lazarbeam accurate and no barrel droop. 😃👍
HW 97 is quite heavy, The HW 77 is an excellent alternative, however the underlever HW 57 has a curious loading system, a pop up loading port.

Based on your personal preferential rating I'd say you could use an HW50S.
The only question is whether to go with .177 or
.22 ? 🤔
Kinda depends on what range your Skwerls 🐿️believe they're safe at ? 😂
Mine are kinda confident and come close in... 😏
Never the less just a Great, light, easy handling rifle. The Hawke Vantage 2-7×32 AO IR Is more than enough for the task, but the Airmax 2-7 does give you a wider field of view and is better in low light dawn and dusk situations. Still the Vantage is an excellent value and perfectly suited to the HW50S. 😉👍
Sounds good 👍. I would go with the 177.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 Great response! Yes definitely helps! Thank you for taking the time!
one question, how much more accurate are the fixed barrel rifles compared to the cock barrels?
That depends on the rifle and shooter👇

I have a Hw95 Luxus, basically new, would you tune it if i sent it, obviously I would pay.
Yes I would do that for you. Need to know what type of tune kit you want. Vortec has some kits.
Super 👍
Thank you!😃👍

Wal Rock
Rock n Roll, lol 😆. Thank you for checking out my video 🙂👍.
You should get the hw 35E that it’s a dream, mine is coming soon 😊😊
@@nobs8124
Actually I have been thinking about the HW50s.
Have you tried the AA TX200?
No, but everything that I have ever seen, they never shot any better than an HW77 or HW97.
Mine would be hw80 cheers from uk
The long range hunter 🙂👍
Generally in German the W is pronounced as a V and a V is said as an F although there might be some exceptions to that rule. It's the same in Dutch and Afrikaans too but I am not sure about Swedish, Danish and other Scandinavian languages.
Now I'm all confused 😆👍
Where’d ya get the gun rack bro? I definitely need one
A friend was cleaning out his garage and wanted to get rid of them, lol 😆. So I got 2, one on the steps going down stairs and one in the basement. I wouldn't mind having a custom made one, with wider and padded holders 🙂👍.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 dang what a come up 😂
Why a Weihrauch German engineering most realiable lovely rifles 👌
Yes 😃👍
One is missing the hw50. Is the most accuraat. Greeting from the Netherlands. Yes Jesus is God bro.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 Yes money is always a thing. I know that. We all suffer from it sometimes. But if you take one again, the HW50 shoots hole in hole at 50mtr. best balance. Hope you make it for the Rapture. Maybe we can shoot together in heaven sometime. as David and Jonathan did every day. Just don't know if they have air rifles there.
@@MartMatthijs Do you have the 50 in .17 or .22? With the lower velocity I always thought it would do best in .17.
@@nickallen8333 Hi I have the HW 50 in cal .177 yes. this is super accurate at 50 mtr. The .22 is of no use to you because it has to reach at least 250 mtr per second, otherwise you have to pissbows at 50 mtr. Ps this meens for every Air rifle by the way. below 250 meters. per seconds it is of no use with .22 at 50 mtr or more.
@@MartMatthijs I’m thinking the HW 50 in .177 maybe my next rifle. I agree that it just doesn’t have the energy to push that .22 like I would want and I already have a hatsan 95 and RWS 34 in .22 that are fantastic guns. I wish I had more friends into air rifles.
We nearly spoke German here in the UK but for the fact that Mr Hitler went east instead of coming full on our way and your country went above and beyond and did the job ! Thank you ❤
I guess UA-cam did not like my first reply, since they took it down.
Hopefully they won't take this one down. Thank you so much for the great comments 🙂👍.
Yes and what a shithole the Uk is today thanks to spineless successive governments.
Need to add a 99s/50 to your collection 👍🏻
Need cash lol. I have added a 1993 Diana 34 177 and a 2004 Diana 34 22 recently. Not quite the build quality of the HW but the accuracy is 100% there.
That's the way I say it but I could be saying it wrong as well
Who knows, that is probably why they sold them as Beeman in the USA, lol 😆😃👍.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 if doctor Beeman heard that he would role over in his grave lol
Harder than picking your favorite kid! lol
Yes, it was so hard to say. For just fun plinking, the HW30s is top's😃👍
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 It looks like it would be fun. I have a Hatsan 95 that i've had for a few years and it's not bad, but it's not smooth in any way, from cocking to shooting, but accuracy isn't too bad. I would like to get a hw 35 to add to my collection.
You can decock a HW 77 with thr bear trap still in place.
I don't think so.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611
I can do it, easy!
You need to add Hw 98 to your collection
Sounds good 👍
Correct its a nice rifle , 7lbs power rated , it will reach out to 40 plus yards with accuracy on target .and its a nice near rat shooting rifle , nice video. 👌
Thank you so much 🙂👍

HW98 for me , no other break barrel can touch it.

Chuck, I have been wanting to tell you for a long time. You really look like Germans. In the video you said that you are of German origin is this for real 😄

Tbh I have a Mk1 HW80 and a MK2 HW77 K, good quality guns make no mistake but! My Air Arms Mk2 TX200 is better by far…. Build quality, accuracy, blueing and finish, aesthetics and overall performance.

😃👍!
I have been told its pronounced Vi-row
Sounds like the car IROC with a W in the front. The CH is the K sound.
I need to go to Germany and visit the Weihrauch and Diana factory, lol.
That would be awesome!
Virtual tour from couch.😎
You can actually google the pronunciation and listen to it being spoken by a German, definitely Vi-raugh
It's pronounced "Vi-Rark" just like you said
I have several hw rifles i have given three of my sons hw rifles what i have bought off people over the years because they were cheap i .have a hw 35 luxus walnut stock which i bought in 1976 and i hate everyone of one them to me they are expensive heavy fence post i have tried with them just like drinking and sea fishing from a boat tried it cant do it so i dont .you can talk about power but if you cant hit your target consistantly they are no good ,give me an air arms any day , Thats my opinion and exsperience of them im 64 and still shoot today but if i was stuck with a hw gun i would of quit shooting years ago, even the pcp,s hw100 ,110 they have to be tuned , to be consistant crap for the money but thats my exsperience
Guess I have more skill.

@@OleDirtyMacSanchez That totally depends on what rifle you get. Check out AoA.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 Personally I want to take a big chunk of Steel or Aluminum to a Lathe and make an Air Valve 2 ft long by 6 or 8 inches in diameter. All just to see what kind of power output I'd get from that. Am I crazy for wanting to do that?
