@@renerenewed yes! I think this was better than my teachers no shade to my teacher its just the vocal part that needs to be taught at my school but yes !
Thank you for your videos, Nurse Julie! I passed my state's Prometric CNA exam this week! Thank you for your helpful service!
Hi, Pixel! CONGRATULATIONS 👏 🎊 💐 🥳!!!
hello, i have been watching your videos but with this particular one i think you need to review prometric standard again for this skill
in new york, prometric expect cna's to cap the elbows of residents before ambulation not just hold their arm
and in order to ensure safety the cna should have a feet behind the chair of the client both when they are standing and sitting to ensure the seat doesn't slide off from behind the client because that can make a patient fall.
am looking forward to pass and i shall email you when i do.
thank you for the great sacrifice you are making for us.
Thank you Nurse Jar for your videos. I passed both my written and skills test today. Because of Covid restrictions the skills dealing with mouth is no longer being preformed.
I also consider this a strength of mine. Thank you for helping me become better

How do you wash hands? With water or alcohol sanitiser?
Hello do we have to check for bed to be locked? If patient is on chair ?
Do the arms have to be raised applying gait belt?
nurse jar! do we ever use bedrails as a CNA? will i need to use them on the prometric test
we’re allowed to touch call light before hand washing ?
Thx! My State Exam is on the 24th
Hi, TheSacer! Good luck with your exam! Let me know how you do.
Thank so much for the video teaching i took my exam yesterday and i pass my exam i say thank you again
Hi, Moi Kromah! Thank you and CONGRATULATIONS 🎊 👏 💐 🥳!!!
Hi everyone, please I want to know can I take the CNA license exams online? I'm a Nigerian and I don't where to take it around here.
No. It will need to be in person at a testing site. You may be able to take the the questions portion if they allow, but skills tests have to be done in person.
During a Prometric skills exam, is the patient already going to be seated in a chair, or will you have to transfer them from the bed, to chair, and then ambulate them?
Hi, Ashley! The acting resident will already be seated in a chair.
so for the skills, do we have to do every step in the right order as the mock skills shows or can we do the steps any order? im really confused and nervous because i know the steps but not in order
Hi, Heavenbrown!
It all depends! If the steps are order-dependent on each other, then yes. If they are not order dependent, then no.
Thanks ms Julie passed my skills any tips on how to pass my written?
Hi, Eric! CONGRATULATIONS 👏 🎊 💐!!! You passed the most intimidating portion of the certification exam.
For the written, know the nurse aide's Scope of Practice, Residents Rights, how you should respond in certain situations, and know disease processes, how to provide personal care, and nursing basics.
Stick with your gut instinct. The first answer choice you select is usually the correct answer choice. So, don't change it unless you are 100% certain you chose the wrong answer and you are 100% certain you know the correct answer. A lot of times, candidates change from the right answer to the wrong answer.
Thanks nurse 👩🏾⚕️ 🎉🎉🎉
@@NURSEJAR will these videos also help with the headmaster skills
@@ShMcGill08152011 Hi! Yes, but keep in mind, Headmaster does have different skills. I started a Headmaster Playlist that has, I believe, 3 or 4 videos specific to Headmaster requirements.
Will person already have on gown?
Hi, Jasmaine! Yes, the acting resident will already be wearing a gown.
@@NURSEJAR thanks 😊
Do you need to put on gloves?
Not for this skill
So you don’t have to walk holding their hand?
Hi, Jasmaine! No, you do not need to hold the person's hand. Your hand should be securing the gait belt.
@@NURSEJAR thank you sooo much
You don’t use gloves?
No gloves are required for this skill.
I’d like to see this with a very overweight patient that doesn’t help at all.
😂
