Sprankton forreal the way they use them is cringy sometimes. It bothers me watching them use a knife and then they cut toward themselves. At least Fabien cut away from himself when cutting the griptape.

@@altanic5855 its a lot easier for me to cut towards my self so I can let the blade do the work and get a cleaner cut, if I cut away from myself i would cut inward too much and it would look uneven
This stuff reminds me of the time I had to replace my grip but had no cash, so I used lacquer and sand from the sandpit XD
Did a double layer after it dried and that stuff was actually pretty legit, but it was rock solid and ruined my shoes pretty quick XD

Long boards, unlike skateboards, are meant for distance skating and tricks more like the ones you do on a snowboard. So it would actually make sense that the grip tape would have more grip, because on a snowboard your feet are strapped into place.

Try some Wooster grip. Wooster used to be some of the most aggressive grip I've skated for a normal skateboard. I haven't skated it in probably 6-7 years so hopefully they haven't changed it. It's made about 40 miles from where I live so most shops in the area used to carry it.

by the way longboard grip tape is basically glued down glass shards. also the adhesive (holding the grit) is a rubbery material adding to the stickiness. very important for things like sliding.

It's better to say "that" ledge is you're referencing something while giving direction, "this" ledge references the thing you are already using or are near.

MonsterTeegs I think correct context or not is more accurate. it sounds ok to say "I want that one" while pointing at a picture of something in a brochure, because the picture is not the context being referred to, however it is still near you. I could be talking shit though.
Its a tough one, because if you used it incorrectly, people would still understand you, but some people will be picky just to tease you.
I longboard and have used that specific griptape for years. Im amazed that no blood was shed during the gripping process.
