If non abrasive grip was more common and easier to find in local stores, I would save a fortune on not needing to buy new shoes all the time. Kickflip eats my shoes! xD Nice idea for a video!
You have heard about customs fees and such when ordering internationally, right? When I order something from the states, postage and customs fees goes through the roof. Sorry for making you upset man. I hope you can recover from it.
True. I actually tried to place an order when Braille first demonstrated the DKL griptape in an earlier video, but there was (as you say) no ordering to european countries. That was several months ago though, and one can hope that the product will be available in Europe as well. It would be fun to try it. :-)
Hey Braille Crew. Started skating for the first time in a decade because of your channel, mainly fetty potter though. When I was young I skated awhile, and then I stopped until I was seventeen and skated for half a year. I learned how to roll in (not drop in)/ and could Ollie. That was pretty much everything I could do. Couldnt Ollie a kicker, grind, fs or bs Ollie, or even shove it. Just rolled around felt like I was flying. Yesterday was my first day skating again, had a hard fall trying to go off a curb. Tweaked the wrist a little, but all is good otherwise. Forgot to lean forward on my front foot after going off so I slid the tail and it shot out. Ten years before, I remembered my father fell the same way on that same board. Lol Anyways, I found out I have to relearn everything. So, I've been watching all your tutorials online. I'm going to wait about a week or two before I start learning the tricks, want to get comfortable on the board first. If all works out well, I wanted to record my progress in Braille style persistence videos. I wasn't sure if you would be interested in the videos since you devote a section of your channel to progression and learning. I doubt many will see them on my non existent platform. Hope you all have a good day, tell fetty I love him. In a brotherly, non romantic way.
Do carbon fiber deck skate with non abrasive grip, suspension trucks with waterproof bearings on it! Also wear non newtonian shoes) and make this versus regular
M4TheUltimate they’re company, he means that the company would cost about 100k if you wanted to own the rights to it. Like for example Apple is worth Billions maybe more.
@@yush6277 It's still only around 27 euros, which is well worth it IMHO. I'm actually considering getting a second DKL grip for my cruiser board. I want to do ollies up a curb, without destroying shoes on that too.
I had first gen DKL griptape on my board. It felt super grippy, but the first sign of moisture and all friction was gone. Probably shouldn't have tested this during late autumn. Also no matter how much I sanded and weighed the griptape down to the board, it still kept peeling off. I still have two more sheets of DKL griptape which I might try during summer.
I have had 2 decks with dkl grip and I can say it does it’s job very well. But however with every great thing there is always a catch. The sides peel soooo much no matter how good you apply the grip. I have since gone back to regular grip . One more thing was I was skating canvas shoes and they didn’t rip at all . Try it out , it’s something new and different
Hey Joey, you'll be happy to know we've been working on the peeling problem for the last 3 months and just released a NEW version of DKL Griptape with improved adhesive to fix it. We just launched it on 12/26.
casiewoods it peeled just like my other sheets did. It’s one of the only issues the grip seems to have. It also loses its grip when it gets dusty so avoid skating in a garage or a park that is dirty. However my shoes never did rip . It honestly depends on your skate style if u skate a lot of flat ground and do tricks that are more technical and need more control , the grip will most likely peel. But if u are just learning and practicing kickflips, Ollie’s, 180s I highly recommend this grip.
ssc4564 The stuff Carlos does on this channel seems more tiring, especially considering that they film multiple videos in a day. The guy does stairs, and difficult tricks that take a lot of effort in general. But Aaron could also be in good shape too.
ssc4564 I feel like Carlos’s skating style is really intense. He has a lot of pop and stomps hard. Whereas Aaron’s style is more minimalist. I don’t think it’s because he is in bad shape lol.
I've been thinking about getting DKL griptape, but I want to see something like a heelflip or impossible test so I can see how the sides of the shoe holds up on it.
That would be easy, kinda. You can’t drive- but you can at least use the bathroom right? I mean they are chilling in the braille house all the time anyway so might as well
