Tony Atlas saying he didnt know Pat Patterson was gay is the biggest lie on the planet. Not only from being in the WWF but it was said on the Phil Donahue show in 1992.

They said he spoke really rude and vulgar to "his boy". IDK why so many people are being so tight lipped about him or Jerry Lawler. The Lawler stuff was in Apters magazine in 88, the Summer I believe

@@montethepharaohli1prowrestling yeah, due to the awkwardness particularly in Roddy's part due to being preyed upon sexually by Patterson & Lord Alfred Hayes and others when he was still only likely a teenager in he buisness.
There's a segment from the mid 80s where Piper slaps Lord Alfred Hayes during a talk show thing with Vince & u can see that was no worked slap at all! Roddy really played it in. I bet memories of those times were fresh in his mind when he did that. You can see the real tension there between them. Hayes must have felt awkward too knowing Roddy was now a big star & surpassed him now able to kick his ass. Knowing what "ribbing" he'd given Piper as a kid.
They always pass off stuff like that as a "rib" when it's not.

I've thought about that Piper story w/ Pat Patterson. Now take Pat Patterson hitting on Piper but instead replace Piper with Bob Backlund or the Iron Sheik 😂. Or the beast Angelo Mosca or Lou "Shooter" Thesz. Try and picture the look on Thesz's face when Pat whips out the ol' schmeckle looking for action. You've heard of "STRETCHING a GUY OUT" yes?🤣🤣🤣

Misleading title on this video. I thought we were gonna get the skinny on whether Pat ever tried anything on Roddy...and all we got, was a bunch of gobbledygook on Vince doing some kind of, I guess, traveling arrangements and stuff, and how Tony got into it with Rocky Johnson, and how he, what, hit Pat Patterson with the Title, or something like that...

Do you think if it was about pat hitting on roddy the title of the video would say Tony Atlas speaks about Pat Patterson hitting on Roddy Piper pretty common sense there, brother it said the title represents exactly what was spoken. Tony talks about Pat and he talks about Roddy hence Tony Atlas on Roddy Piper and Pat Patterson. I guess the seventh grade doesn’t go that far huh?

@@Userunknown0010 I know that Piper and Shawn were close. He even stated that on screen during the Piper's Pit when HBK was there explaining why he gave Hogan Sweet Chin Music and turned heel. Piper said the Shawn came up to him often to learn about how to get over as a main eventer. So, who knows how "close" they got.
There have MANY stories regarding HBK and hanky panky with the boys in the back. Whatever he did, that's all in his past now. It's under the blood of the Lamb of God, Jesus The Christ. HE suffered the punishment Shawn, you, and I DESERVE to suffer so that we wouldn't have to. So, we move on.
Piper got by on his talent and charisma not letting Patterson or Hayes blow him or other stuff they did wrestlers if they want to be a top dog in the wrestling business
