I will always try my best to link to products of the best value for money, in my opinion. Some of these may include affiliate links where a commission may be received, the price to you remains the same.

HI really enjoy your vids. Went to Tesco today and bought a sim. The guy said he had been on a training course yesterday and the the roaming deal is being extended from the end of 2023 to the end of 2024 Tesco have not published will do soon. Said it was 100% definite. a very good deal
That would be great news! Fingers crossed.
Could also encourage other providers to reinstate their Roaming!
This is confirmed now on Tesco’s website 🎉
That's great news - I have added an update to the video description!
Well done Tesco!
So should I ditch tesco cos I was about to sign up for a 2 year contract at £9 but will suck if I don't get free roaming next year
The Smarty unlimited package is £16 a month if ordered though Uswitch 👍😃
ID mobile is £10 per month (sim only) for 50gig and has roaming in 50 countries. Also has tethering and WiFi calling 👍🏼
I pay £15 for unlimited with ID, it was great when I was stuck in France with my mum in hospital for 6 weeks... Hundreds of calls and hundreds of roaming gbs.
@iainrainford Please can you share link for this - ID mobile site says "Roaming 30GB limit if your UK allowance is 30GB or more. Roaming subject to fair usage & open data policies."
@cmoreton2911 Please can you share link for this - ID mobile site says "Roaming 30GB limit if your UK allowance is 30GB or more. Roaming subject to fair usage & open data policies."
@@ExploreVanUK when I was away in May I upgraded to unlimited because I was getting near the limit (think I had very quickly used 250gb of my rolled allowance with gopro uploads) I chatted with them and explained my predicament and was told it would be fine and not capped. They did have terms at the time of fair usage policy but I think it was only invoked if you use it for months on end whilst roaming. I haven't needed it or checked since so maybe it has changed I don't know. All I know is that they were extremely helpful and made an extremely stressful situation a lot less stressful (not having to worry about calls & data)
@@cmoreton2911 Thanks - since they are now very clear on their website and in their terms and conditions that Roaming is limited to 30GB a month, I suspect it has changed, like it has for most providers.
Easy to understand
EE unlimited with EU roaming at £15 per month. Great coverage all over France.
Hi thanks for sharing please could you share a link?
I believe the £15 a month tariff is a 24 month plan and it is only discounted for 6 months, going up to £30 a month for the rest of your 24 months, so you are tied in, which I tend not to recommend as I think it's important to have the flexibility to change as the market changes or take months off particularly for usage in a van - (no point paying for it if you're not using it). I also don't like that EE state "The monthly price shown, add-ons and all out of bundle charges will increase on or after 31st March every year by the Consumer Price Index rate of inflation published in January that year, plus 3.9%." and as you are tied in for 24 months you have no option to leave. Plus it is an additional £15 a month for the Roam abroad option.
As I understand it - if you want unlimited with EE on a 30-day plan it is £33 a month plus £15 for their Roam abroad extra so a toal cost of £48 a month
@@ExploreVanUK Additionally, EE have a roaming fair use cap of only 50GB, which for people like me who are working remotely isn't really enough for a whole month, and if I bought a couple of sims to up the limit that's into Starlink monthly cost
EE is going up to £25 per month in October
Tesco Mobile are giving EU free roaming with no speed or data or restrictions until 2025
Thanks for sharing and Nice one Tesco! - I have added an update in the description
The Tesco unlimited sim deal sounds awesome on the face of it however they have a fair use policy of only 2 months abroad in any 4 month rolling period. Do you or any one else know if they turn you off after that period or just charge you an exorbitant amount to keep using it? We need something for longer term as were heading abroad for over 9 months in January.
I think they all have similar policies to this, can’t blame them really they are a UK supplier and already more generous than any other provider when it comes to roaming.
You may be able to juggle multiple sims / get new ones sent to you from the UK if you have some that can activate them for you.
Maybe you do a video about esims UK & EU.
Hi, I have been approached by a couple of eSIM providers but as I am not aware of a router that is able to accept an eSim currently it is not high on our list of things to try.
On our next trip abroad may be we will try some out on our phones.
EE as of October 2023 have raised the roaming charge to £25 a month! 😮
Thanks for sharing
The RWG plan is now limited to 20GB EU roaming
Thanks for sharing. That’s disappointing.
Tesco’s still including unlimited EU Roaming for the rest of 2024 currently!
Wake up my fellow citizens we are getting squeezed by our telecom companys now. I'm calling it in nxt 2 yrs? These companies will bring out packages like in old days. We're you had to choose most expensive price to get all your fav apps, but lower priced packages give you fc# all. We will get even more mugged off 😢
How do I order free sim
If you mean for RWG - it looks like they have changed slightly since I made this video - it is now £1 for a SIM including £1 credit.

@@ExploreVanUK also they have limited eu roaming to 100 gb which is still enough and by the way can I use reg if I live in London
