As someone who owns a Mk3 Focus RS, I would suggest spending more than 25k, at least 30k to find a nicer lower miles one. Once they drop into the 20s price range they tend to be higher mileage and highly modded buckets with multiple owners, all in all its an amazing car if it had to be a daily, fortunately for me its a weekend mountains/canyon ripper.

I can second this as an RS and former ST owner. Bought my RS2 for $34k with 20k miles and when I bought the ST3 many years ago, $14.5k with 33k miles
