Absolutely! It's perfect size for a mando... just a little gain to dirty it up a little... I'm gonna get a solid body electric soon for a little better tone, but I have an acoustic/electric that does pretty good on it, though you can still tell it's an acoustic...the solid body will be better though... it's actually the exact same head Billy used to record Recycler with, but he ran it through a 12" speaker, I'm running through the original 2 cabinets with a 10" in each one... perfect rock n roll mandolin amp... it's only 12 watts, so you won't be shaking an arena with it, but it's plenty loud in the house, & you can gig with it if you mic it...if you wanna rock, you gotta have a Marshall! Lol!
I'll know tonight when I get home, I'm at my dad's house right now... but when I get home tonight, first thing I'm doing is plugging up... I usually practice acoustically, but it's also got an amazing clean tone that's great for acoustics too...
HELL YES!!!! That looks so fun to play! I can't wait to learn this! That's a sho' 'nuff barn burner right there...need to figure out I Got The Six (Gimme Your Nine) that would be awesome to learn!🖖🏿😎👍🏿
@@RockPopMandolin probably my all time favorite from them, but I don't really know, it's like trying to pick your favorite candy, & everything in the dish is awesome! Lol! Afterburner was full of great stuff too though...
This is one that I just can't put down! Lol! That main riff is actually kind of easy, but of course, there's a little trick in there...Lol! I've already got almost half the song! Still got some work to do though, before I can put it all together & sing with it, but it's actually going pretty well... I'll have this down in a couple of days... very cool song for for the mando! 🖖🏿😎👍🏿
@@RockPopMandolin I still think you need one. I forget who you played with who had one but you're in Japan and Eastmans are made there. An MDO-305 is calling your name ;)
I finally got this whole song down! Now to rip it through my Marshall Lead 12 mini stack!
Yikes! With a mandolin? Lol!
