I used to have a beautiful old safe like that made in 1858 from a gold mine out west. I fully restored it to working condition. I miss it had to leave it with the new owner of my home.
I had it for close to 38 years it weighed over 400 lbs. I even had all the nickel plating and gold leaf work done it was really sweet looking. When I first got it. I had such wild dreams of it being stuffed with gold and diamonds. Ha ha 🤪😹😾 It did have a bunch of old papers from the mine from the 1860’s to 1887 period. Plus fancy letter head papers and some photos from the 1870’s showing stacked gold bars an a scale and some of the owners in fancy suits an top hats. Which was a very kool piece of history.
Everything from this that was for sale is long gone, and a friend at work had an uncle that passed away and asked me to help him sell it, then i ended up buying it instead.
When you are going through the paper money, the more you handle the bills the less pristine they are. Please check the coins value very carefully, some of them may be worth a bucket load, more then you ever dreamed of. All total amount of money that you have there, you may be able to purchase a house by paying cold cash, without a morgage.
+Randi Shill thanks, i believe all of the paper money has been sold, and a lot of the other stuff has sold as well. I did keep a lot as well, i know a lot of the cents i have yet to check for errors, but most everything else i have.
For ppl that collect old currency this would be the mother load, I’ve had 2 collection stolen from me started back of course but nothing like I had, I think the one I miss the most was my half dime, can’t stand a thief they don’t care whom they hurt in the process..... Great find really enjoyed.....
Angela Evans thanks this was an amazing once in a lifetime find for me so far anyway. Make sure you watch all 5 parts to se everything that came from this collection.
But you need to look at modern going through there's a lot of error coins that are moderns that are worth big money weigh more than your silver shit is
interesting thing about the 1954 Canadian dollar bill, there is a "devils face" portrait variety where a devil face appears in the queens hairdoo. her hair was modified to remove the face. yours looks like a modified portrait and worth a buck. a pristine devil face bill is worth between $8 and $250 (*).
Hey, I'm from Canada and I can tell you about the Canadian $1. bills. Unfortunately they are both quite common for their series. The '37' is worth $8 to $10 US, the '54' is still only worth a dollar. If you need help with any other Canadian currency please let me know.
www.ebay.com/usr/superneo123 but items from this have been gone for years, i do have some coins on there, but not from this safe. And i have been trying to add more when i get them.
yes i negotiated a price on the entire contents of the safe and i have been paying him when i can and i get to pick out some when i pay him, 1 more round to go.
The newer date coins if in high enough condition can be worth hundreds of dollars so be careful turning it to spare change. If he kept them I would go through them and figure out the grade and price them out if there are any high grades. Even the 2014 coins can be worth keeping like the 2014-D full band dime its worth $300 in MS-68 which is not that hard to find with coins this new. This was just a simple example as some of the newer dates can be worth up to a thousand dollars in high grades. Unless you need to sell some to pay for this collection I would not sell any part of it. The Buffalo Nickels with no dates still have a chance of being dated at least for one year as you need to look for buffalo's on mounds then you know you have the 1913. Some of the older Canadian currency can be worth quite a bit of money so again be careful getting rid of any of this collection. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the info. I look almost everything over before i get rid of it, and for the majority of this collection I will be keeping it but there are a few things that i dont need or dont collect that i will be selling to help pay for this collection. And since i now have a full set of buffalos from this collection i dont need the no dates ones anymore so ill sell them im sure.
yeah that was in part 1, just missing the 3 leg and the 18 over 17. also had the almost full set of walkers, just missing 2 and i have them lined up in a trade already.
Coin Collecting With Superneo123 yes you're right.. upon a second look of the date you stated I did make a mistake by one year in fact it was the 43 .. I apologise for the mistake
Sorry been busy, but i dont believe i have any at the moment but most coun shops sell them for 1.50 ish on the dollar ones, and not much more over on the 5s
oh it was not easy or cheap, i spent a lot on this safe collection, and had to sell a lot of it to keep buying the rest of it, and i only got to keep a few things.
@@superneo123 I was just making sure you wasn t going to use it for regular cash , any of it . Nice collection for being all together. It s hard to start a collection when you just got started . At lease it was for me and when I gathered enough to put my collection together, my city I live in can and cleaned my back yard . Of course all my collection of coins ,ho scale trains sets ,building, Rollin stock, and my rc planes, heliocoptors ,cars all when to the dump ,that s what they say .... I lost alot.still trying to let it go or forget about it all cuz it s all gone now . Enough to make you or me cry . Awesome find bro . LATERS,
@@miker.phillips3071 oh definitely there was a lot of great things in this collection, make sure you watch all 6 parts to this to see it all. I sold a lot of it but kept parts that fit my collection. Cya

That is cool, and sucks at the same time. They are heavy and dont get moved very often.

Everything from this that was for sale is long gone, and a friend at work had an uncle that passed away and asked me to help him sell it, then i ended up buying it instead.

+Randi Shill thanks and this kind of thing comes around only once in a great whil and im sure one day it will for you as well.
I am very much enjoying this journey with you. Thank you...Gamma
thanks, i have to look at a lot of this stuff in more depth when i have time and see if i can find any hidden gems.

Check that 2000 Sacagawea and might be the Cheerios coin worth $20,000 in great condition
Yep i do check any that i run across, but it was not one.
Looks like some of the currency that was taken in my 2013 , july 4th burglary!
Lol im sure it looks the same
But you need to look at modern going through there's a lot of error coins that are moderns that are worth big money weigh more than your silver shit is
Oh i looked at everything before i got rid of it, there is a 5th video in this playlist that showes some of the other finds.

that is cool i did hear about that but this one was not that :(
Need to check those merc dimes for full bands
+ameroamigo1 thanks i dont believe any of them did.
Honestly, if it's all crap, or ends up being mostly all crap, it's fun to go through.
Sick 1898 morgan though. That has some luster on there.
thanks that morgan was a surprise, i did not see it when i went to look at the safe the 1st time around.
Hey! You still have any of these cool coins and such left?
Hedge Cosmicilly not much, i sold most of it, and keep what i wanted
Ah, all right then. Thanks for letting me know. I'll keep my eyes peeled for more videos such as this.
Ah, darn. Oh well. Thanks for replying. I'll keep an eye out, just in case more treasure appears and you plan on selling more cool stuff.
Hedge Cosmicilly thanks i might make another for sale video soon, i do have bunch of stuff i want to sell, so keep an eye out for that
Will do!
The silver certificates were STAR notes!
Yes there were several star notes in there, i believe i sold them that was as well.

Buffalo NY ?
Never been there
Cool coins! How did you acquire them? Did you buy the whole safe as a bulk lot?
yes i negotiated a price on the entire contents of the safe and i have been paying him when i can and i get to pick out some when i pay him, 1 more round to go.
I enjoy your work. Please try and focus better and cut down on glare.
Thanks, been working on it, these videos are a couple years old.

Don't throw away until you look up the coins because there were a lot of error coins in there.
thanks i look everything over before i get rid of them
I just bought 200 one dollar silver certificates for $1.50 each. Not worth much more. I hoard them and use them as tips.
Cool im not much into currency, but when i find them they are cool, but dont keep them very long. Cya
1944 Steel Wheat Penny if he has one is like worth over 100,000
Ann Hamric nope not one in there, but that would have been nice
Ann Hamric sorry dude it's not the steel penny that's worth a lot it's the 44 copper
Craig LeBlanc 44 copper had millions made and are very common, you thinking of the 43 copper, but the 44 steel is also worth a lot.

Craig LeBlanc yeah no problem i figured as much, take care
I have some nice 2 dollar bills from the 60’s I wonder if they are worth saving.
My grandfather gave me a 1929 $5.00 silver certificate. My son stole it. So I was wondering if you had one and what you would charge me???.
Sorry been busy, but i dont believe i have any at the moment but most coun shops sell them for 1.50 ish on the dollar ones, and not much more over on the 5s

superneo123 oh OK

it was a lot, but i did sell a lot of it to help buy it and kept what i could.
Looks like so much fun to go through.

how do u get all those coins easy
oh it was not easy or cheap, i spent a lot on this safe collection, and had to sell a lot of it to keep buying the rest of it, and i only got to keep a few things.
