Damon Albarn (before Empire Ants): We haven't played this next song since 2010. And the reason we haven't played it is because we haven't really seen Yukimi since then.
A Tribe Called Quest was also scheduled to perform on Friday, but they couldn't make it due to travel issues and got rescheduled for Saturday. RAC filled in for the empty slot.

You know, I know he likes to collaborate but I think it would be so nice for Damon to do a album with just him and piano... He plays beautifully!

The instrumentals are gorgeous here, though the choir makes it a little weak. I feel like they're not singing to their full potential like the choir from 2005 did. I love that they played it though
Well to be fair the choirs from 2005 looked like it had over 10 people in it.
I think the outside lands concert had the best gorillaz setlist since Plastic beach.
I spent 1/4th of my savings hoping to get my daughter front row to the Gorillaz but I had to hold her for hours. Thank God these awesome dudes helped me! Thank God she was able to see them altho I was too short. Next time instead of being bullied at Outside Lands by people who shouldn't even be there I'll just get front row tickets at a concert. My head hurts so bad and I am def regretting these 3 day passes but Im hoping we can pull through and I pray no oe bullies us today. We have already been through enough and just trying to give my angel a positive experience.

My daughter can rap and sing their music. Her voice is beautiful and she is also a very talented artist and can draw pictures of them that look real!!! She is sooooooo amazing :)
may i ask how old? because some of the lyrics are not kid friendly. Favorite band though!
You're the best mother ever, there's no better experience that seeing this awesome band, and yeah, some people just go to this kinda of shows to intagram their experience and they don't even know about Gorillaz at all, iugh.
