  • Got off a plane to the countryside
I drove to the mountain and a hole in the ground
There was crack on the corner and someone dead
And fire coming out of a monkey's head
    Don't get lost in heaven
They got locks on the gate
    Don't go over the edge
    You'll make a big mistake
Put me in a cab to suburbia
I just took a line but I wasn't with you
There was more of it there
    When I got back home
    But you had left me
    You don't know my soul
    You're a whore girl, yeah, you're a hobo
    Don't get lost in heaven
They got locks on the gate
    Don't go over the edge
    You'll make a big mistake...
    Aaaah...
    You'll make a big mistake...
    Aaaah...
    You'll make a big mistake...
    Aaaah...
    You'll make a big mistake...
    Aaaaaah...

In demon days, it's cold inside
You don't get nobody, people sigh
It's so bad, lasting far, but love yourself
Hiding in a hole in there
All the glasses are too big
Bring it back, got to hold it back
To let you do that yet you don't want me back
Before it fall down, falling down falling down
Falling out to go far from the sun
In these demon days it's so cold inside
So hard for a good soul to survive
You can't even trust the air you breathe
Cause Mother Earth wants us all to leave
    When lies become reality
You numb yourself with drugs and TV
Pick yourself up it's a brand new day
    So turn yourself round
    Don't burn yourself, turn yourself
Turn yourself around into the sun!
    (x2)
To the sun, to the sun...
To the sun, to the sun...

If there was a time capsule to send into the future that represents the best of humankind at this point in time, this performance would have to be included.

*properviolence* ..😱 Without a shadow of doubt my good friend.. it should go down in history as one of, if not the most talented, well constructed and most beautifully meaningful pieces of music ever created.. Bravo Damien and team 👍😀🤘

I like this live version better than the one from Manchester. I think the choir did a lot better.

You always say yesterdays music was better and tell yourself nothing's as good as it used to be, even though this is relatively new itself.

the drums kinda ruined the beginning of demon days

    • @adamnoturfuknbusiness2367
      @adamnoturfuknbusiness2367 6 років тому

the way the performance was done, with this many insturments you'd want a conductor leading everything, but opposed to that, they just kept the drums constant which basically does the same thing a conductor does i.e. regulate everyone's rythm
