When I rededicated and was beginning a process of bringing both unconfessed sin and unconfronted hurts and doubts to God, God showed me then how He never left me during that traumatic event and ever since He has shown me how He is using it in my life for good now. I am not at all saying you shouldn’t invite God into a memory, but I didn’t have to. As my mind was renewed, that absolutely began to include my past as well. For the record God also healed my mind and I have been of sound mind every day for more than a couple years now.

My trauma of having cerebral palsy as a kid, not having a dad and experiencing sexual abuse set me up for oppression in my thoughts about my worth. So grateful I didn’t project that on the Lord and he showed me my worth. Now as a pastor, I try to help others see their worth in Christ, I’m learning that when we use our pain for God’s glory the enemy can’t use it to oppress us.

" Inner Healing " was popular in the 70's . Our church ( continuation type ) threw it out as dangerous back then and this is the first I've heard of it since then . Strikes me therefore as an old ploy resurfacing for a new generation
I've gotten a lot of healing from Theophostic counseling. My therapist had a good reputation, great training, and was a strong Christian under a pastor/counselor.

Josh Lewis - to say that deliverance should only be done through "qualified church leaders" baffles my brain. I came out of TWO churches (with highly educated 'theologically speaking' leaders) who knew absolutely NOTHING about deliverance. One actually said that, "You have nothing to worry about. Satan was defeated in the Garden." The other "qualified church leader" had no clue about the continued work of the Holy Spirit and healings/deliverances. It was awful. I had to seek help from a woman who had her own deliverance ministry and just prayed it would be effective - and it was! It took over 7 years to get the help needed and it was OUT of the church. Also, Kundalini Manifestations can happen to people who do NOT practice Hinduism. It happened to me as someone who did yoga for exercise; it opened that unfortunate door. God bless you. I am hoping you will do a discussion on church hurt. It has become the popular topic. The idea that pastors are responsible for church hurt is not always the case. Many lay persons have expectations…..and the leadership may simply give a “No” to said desires. No, you cannot take the church in a different direction. Etc. Also, how about the leadership who suffer wounds from the rebellious, slander, abuse from the sheep. Just some thoughts…Thanks

We only pray through Jesus Christ and not Mary. Ask our Father God through His only begotten Son to deliver you out of the false teachings that you are in and to show you who He is. A very good channel of a ex catholic can help you see through the deception of the catholic teachings and his channel is Soul Refuge and I really hope you will take it in consideration and not think it's an attack on you but it is on the false teachings.
