How To Paint Grimdark Imperial Fists

- In this video I show you how I paint my Warhammer 40k imperial fists before they meet their demise. I love space marines and the fists are definitely my favorite legion. This recipe can easily work on your new Horus Heresy models for 30k as well.
All of the blood fx are purely just paint and special effects on miniature models!

There's no way this is your first youtube video, it's so slick and well-structured.
You absolutely killed it with presentation and clarity. It's so cool seeing content creators raising the bar and helping make this great hobby more and more accessible to everyone.
This is as compact as it gets without losing anything relevant to the painting process. And while the ground laying paintjob idea is from Elminiaturista, you still gave it your own twist with the weathering, streaking grime wash and the blood.
Keep 'em coming, I like your paint style and will definitely try something similiar in the future.
This is some top tier production value and painting! I likewise love the grimdark side of the hobby so hopefully you have many more tips and tricks I can learn from!

Probably one of the best grimdark Imperial Fists I've seen...and I've seen a lot while looking for a good recipe. So many grimdark approaches end up looking really desaturated (naturally, but almost too much) ... whereas this one still has a rich yellow tone to it that still breaks through the streaking grime. I'm not usually a fan of the pink undertone used to get shading but it really works well here with the streaking grime! Great job.

This has become my favorite video on UA-cam, I love how much information is packed into this short video and how great your editing and final product is. I think under 8 minutes is The Sweet spot for UA-cam videos these days and I would call this a perfect UA-cam video short sweet and to the point. Really like the weathering and the yellow was insanely quick, the heavy griming and attention to chipping means you still don't miss volumetrics

Idk if it is just me, but this is the first short format video on Warhammer mini painting I've seen... Not to say I wouldn't want to see a longer video, but this was super cool, new & refreshing, and now I want more...
Btw, if you need to reach the longer duration that the algorythm loves, just talk to the camera to tell what you're going to do, and just say a few obvious things during the painting footage 😂😂😂
