For mechanics like that, it's about watching and seeing which ones appear (or start glowing) first. Then you avoid those ones and quickly move into that space to avoid the rest. A lot of the mechanics in FFXIV (especially later on) revolve around paying attention to visual cues, so it helps to not be distracted by the music. :P
