For mechanics like that, it's about watching and seeing which ones appear (or start glowing) first. Then you avoid those ones and quickly move into that space to avoid the rest. A lot of the mechanics in FFXIV (especially later on) revolve around paying attention to visual cues, so it helps to not be distracted by the music. :P

Overall this boss fight is garbage! We deleted all the memories of the world eternal moments ago and she fight for the deleted memories. Even worse we are chosen by queen eternal to be the only danger she really face, we the warrior of light. So wuk lamat gets cut out of the fight, because she is not important, but than gets more powerful as we the warrior of light, with the power of azem? And than wul lamat try to talk to sphene, ignoring that we deleted all the memories and she should give up because we are better than her? And the cherry on this pile of garbage is, that wul lamat does more damage as the entire raid, we do not even must do damage at all, only evade to end this fight. Also sorry to say, this is the next copy of the same boss fight we get in every addon. From 2.0 to dawntrail it is always the same. A boss in a room who want to destroy the world. Its over used and not even as cool as endsinger.

queen eternal is my 3rd favorite boss in ff14, endsinger 2nd, and shinryu my 1st i like bosses that give me that oh moment unlike cool moments

krile is my favorite character in heavensward when i first saw her i shouted maya as soon as i saw her outfit (maya's white mage outfit in ff5) and for her to get closure years later made me emotionally wrecked lol

makes you wanna appreciate classic old games. nowadays most games have cringe dialogues, boring direction and uninteresting story plots that doesn't make sense if not politically charged

I played through VIII again about two years ago. I had forgotten how difficult the White SeeD ship was to find, it took me nearly twenty minutes of carefully scouring Centra. Of COURSE she finds it in thirty seconds.

The final phase is usually pretty easy (in relation to ultimates that is). Usually just an attrition phase. But when you consider it comes at the end of a 18 min fight with all the nerves that come with it the final phase of an Ultimate can usually be the most stressful moment of the fight lol

I got the game when Shadowbringers had come out, so i didn't spend all that much time hanging out at ishgard, but that music really is strong. And on top of that, the story when you get there is about rebuilding yourself, the scions, and then the city itself. Lots of very powerful emotions around that start of Heavensward!

This boss is why I go in as RDM.

I think a big part of it too is the way that a song from a game or musical can bring all the emotions it made you feel throughout the whole thing come rushing back. FFXIV is always going to have a special place in my heart bc of that.

Has anyone else gotten tired of streamer personalities? Like the over the top acting and reacting? I get that ya gotta be a little bit entertaining but I dunno it's just annoying to me when someone forces a personality or reacts way over the top. Like when the camera zooms in to the character she acts as if it startled her lol. Sure I can and will go watch someone so no need to say it.
