    First you will need Masa corn doe. You can buy or make it yourself. Making the masa you need Lard,salt, baking powder. Melt the lard, put in salt and baking powder till smooth and liquid. The kind of meat you need is pork meat pork butt shoulder, (some people use otherwise optional) First boil the meat, add salt, garlic powder,a little cumin, black pepper, oregano leaves, after it’s all done about an hour or 2 depends on how big or small you are making the batch, shred meat when it’s done. For the chili sauce you need Red chili’s you need to soak red chili’s, for at least 30-45min to your liking till soft, 2. Grind the chili’s &strained chilies 🌶, 3. Step add a little flour boil add meat when it’s done. 4.add some water from the pork meat to the sauce save about a cup or 2 depending on how much you are making. Add red chilies mix it together. Set a side. For the Corn haves 1 put them in hot water to soak for at least 10-20min or so depending on how many you get do at least 30at a time to remove the excess strings separate corn haves after been soaked lay on flat surface. 3.put the corn haves down and put a tablespoon of masa in middle of the corn haves and spread with either fingers or back of spoon how ever you like to spread the masa, add the 1 tablespoon of meat in the middle and fold from bottom to right and left and done and repeat till all done. And afterwards put the tamales in the steamers for about 30-2hours depending on how much you are making. Check it every 30-45min. And eat and enjoy.

    Or you can buy them from the Mexicans on the corner...although Tamales are an acquired taste...too much corn mush....
