Glad to see a review of these I’d backed it and looking forward to getting one definitely picking the orange one the plus bag. Good point on attachment points
I wished I had this kind of review during the campaign. I was watching the campaign until the end and put the medium orange one into my bag but then I canceled my pledge. Now I want one. 😀 Maybe the Plus size too in white*ish* version.
I got the larger one from the Kickstarter. It arrived yesterday, and I took it out today. I'm very impressed with it. Quite possibly the best sling pack that I own. It carries comfortably, even when loaded.
@@twokitties7 when I see a bag that is that saturated all at once - I usually don't want to pile on and make the same video that everyone else is making - when the crowd turns right I like to turn left and keep the channel different - nothing against the bag or the maker! There are times when I don't do that and I'm right there in line with everyone, but that's when there's something very interesting or different that catches my interest.
Solid review. Yours seems to be the only one on UA-cam right now. Odd given how popular the Kickstarter was! I guess we'll see more pop up now that they've starting shipping. Mine have arrived already. Interesting you mention Alpaka and Bellroy as competitors. All three companies happen to be from Melbourne, Australia. Lots of good designer here I guess!
Really appreciate your constructive feedback on how we can improve them further, Klint. We'll definitely look into how we can apply in future designs. And yes, we intend to make more gears! :)
:) that was just a fun video pointing out the flaws in industry standards for communicating sizes. Potatoes are amazing but it wouldn't work for a real system. Soda cans might work or golf balls - something standard in size
Hey guys! It's Charles from Orbitkey! Haha whilst we didn't use potato, golf balls OR Soda bottles, we used 20mm plastic balls as per suggested by ASTM standards. The testing method does get convoluted, but we try our best to stick as close as possible to the well known ASTM standards.
Well - I guess any sling with a buckle could be viewed that way. It is a quick release - so yes I'd say a particularly good thief could unclasp a duraflex buckle - but it's not unique to this sling - and honestly most sleeves would use a knife and cut the bag free and run, not worry about perfectly grabbing a buckle.
I agree with this! I used the venture sling from Bellroy on a trip to Italy, and it served me so well! I purchased this one for the matter of the privacy pocket and room for a water bottle! The complete seal is very reassuring as to Bellroy's little openings on the sides, although I did not have a problem at all. I will admit... when I searched up this bag... I typed in Bellroy Urban Sling Plus
Appreciate you doing a good review of these bags. I also probably would’ve backed the project if I had a walk thru this good while it was live.
This helps validate my purchase and backing with the kickstarter! Cannot wait to recieve it! Thank you for this overview!
You're very welcome!

Yeah but if manufacturers started making good product videos I'd be out of a job 😂😂😂😂😂
you still can.
@@mrkruzadar4152 just be careful with white bags. My Bellroy slings and duffel in their light (ash?) color got stained fast.
@@ThePerfectBag Good Point 😀
Yep it's still available on Kickstarter (Late Pledge). The price is slightly higher than original KS campaign but will be lower than the final RRP. 👌

Very informative review, thank you. I backed the kickstarter project. Looks like I made a good decision.
Waiting imminently for it to be delivered 😊
Should be soon!!!!
Great review! Would love to see a review on the Rework Toshi Sling 5L.
Yeah - I saw a lot of folks have been reviewing that - all kinds of channels - but I think I’m going to pass at this time.
@ would love to hear why if you don’t mind sharing. Otherwise, no worries. Thanks for your reply!

@@ThePerfectBag I hear you! Keep up the good work. Looking forward to watching more of your content.
Id totally take an XL version in a 9L-10L i know its "too much" but I daily a Day Sling 3 Max lol
medium is the best size for my needs; backed this one
Great review as always! I REALLY need your opinion on this Urban Sling 6L vs Toshi Sling 5L. I have both on the way and i can't decide which to keep!
First. Thx for the video. Was curious about those slings.
You're most welcome
Wow love the slim design + capacity! Looks like you could almost put a 13 inch macbook in that back pocket!

Some great bags!!! An impressive debut!
Pretty cool sling 🟠
Aye! I was hoping to see a review for you
no modelling? the part im always looking forward? 😂awesome bag mate 👍👍
😂😂😂
Great review, does the 6L fit an iPad in the back slot?
Nah too small in back there
Do they fit an iPad mini? Great video by the way.
The large one will fit an iPad mini with no issues
@ThePerfectBag Thank you 😁
Did anyone else hear "taught pocket" and immediately sing it like the hot pocket jingle?
lol
How is it so far ? Pre ordered 6 litters in black
It's a good sling. Won't be my favorite but well made for sure and lots of utility in a tight package
I like the look. I think I would gravitate to the 4L over the 6. Speaking of liters, what ever happened to the potato measurements?

Speaking of soda. Think how big a 2-liter bottle is. Would that fit in a 2L bag? Orwould 2 of those bottles in this 4L bag?

Nice Video..How much please?Where you got the bag please?Ipad 9.7-11 inches can be fit please?
www.kickstarter.com/projects/orbitkey/orbitkey-urban-sling-collection
iPad up to 11" would fit in the 4L + 6L bags.
What brand is your wallet?
Any idea when it will be available for purchase?
I don’t know but I will ask!
By early next month is the answer.
@@ThePerfectBag thank you !
How about the buckle? wouldnt that be an easy way thieves can take your bag?

How you get yours already??!! Wheres mine? Lol
Amphibious 😂
Im still wating on my survey 😢.
Should i get Belroy or wait for this to be available on the website?
they told me it will be up early next month if that helps.
@@ThePerfectBag ooooo good to know, thank you. Gotta think about it now, which do you prefer?
I think I like this one a little more in terms of organization, but I like the exterior material a little more on the Bellroy.
Oh and I think the bellroy strap (although very technically impressive) is a little unnecessarily complex feeling
@@ThePerfectBag Ah ok, thank you for your responses and for the help, I’ll meditate on this. Great video btw and you earned a new sub! 👌👏🙏
Second🎉
Third!
is it even close to the quality of pacsafe bags?
Yes, I’d say so, but certainly lacking the anti-theft features.
Can 6L version fit 11 inch tablet?
No. I recommend that you check out the aer day sling 3 max.
Usually hidden pockets are hidden 😅
❤ I loved it.
Can you try them on in front please to see what it looks like

Vaguely bellroyish….
Clearly the same niche

Yes it does!
@@ThePerfectBagi saw the drop and commented before watching sorry. Lol. Also i FINALLY GOT MY CAMEL CHOPS MR TREEGER. Its sick. Havent taken it off.
Oh great!!!!! Love that bag so much!!!
