The previous owner of my boat used Copper Coat and I continued....so far, I am impressed. I've been in the water (Florida) for 6 months and when the diver came to clean the bottom, the hull was clean....no growth whatsoever!! When people have issues with Copper Coat not working, I suspect they didn't apply/sand it properly. I spent a week with 320 grit sanding (burnishing to expose the copper)...it was painful for sure but the results speak for themselves.
Hey mate.... this is true! Bad application make the difference.. I got some friends has make disaster with incorrect application of coppercoat... some friends Say in bad word.. always read the fu..k..i..g instructions 😂
Great job! We did it five years ago and I love my Coppercoat more and more every day. Especially when all the other boat owners are freezing their bums off every Spring in Copenhagen and I’m warm and cosy at home!! You’re going to love it for sure 🤗
Great job Gabriel - brave man tackling that single handed. It is a long job that needs a continuous effort. Another pair of hands would have helped enormously - you should have given me a call.😉😀👍
Super nice Gabriel, and don´t worry about the runners. You will have the exquisite pleasure to sand them down, when you activate the Coppercoat! Yay - more sanding hehe
Hi Gabrielle. I have just discovered your youtube site and I LOVE it! I am in the process of buying a HR41 aged 1979 so lots of work for me too! When will you be doing your next video? Robin
Molto interessante.

@@sea4see I mentoned it because anybody else that does it for themselves would need to know this.So many have made the mistake not sanding. And also when haul out, sand each time. This is why the more coats you put on the better.
Great this is true!!! at the end I got 7/8 layer.. the problem is that nobody or very few do for them self...and rely to the marina or shipyard.. not my case😉

Another video in a long process of rebuilding a modern classic. Great job !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thx Jim!!!

Hi Gabrielle.
Very nice video.
Thanks for sharing.
What is your impression of copper coat after almost one year in the water?
Regards
Coppercoat works greatttttt
It's like the varnish, the more layers the longer it lasts! It should last about 15 years or more! Keep safe my friend!
Kind regards.
This is true!!!!like varnish!!! Hope stay for long time
@@sea4see More then 10 years!
Amazing. STB. Simply The Best.

Thx Robin! Great to subscribe my channel! The new episode will be out today! Stay tuned!!!
Well done. Can I ask how long did it take for each side? I assume maybe about three hours.
Hello ! I take one day for side 6 am to 18am waiting one hour from any coats ( depend of the temperature..) quite long but easy
Great job Gabe. That is another job off the list of "things to do". I'm sure you feel good about that. Regards, Solomon

Are you not to sand the copper coat after painting.?
Off course but the the day of splashing it! You can’t sand too early!

Wow thank you very much .. said from a insider is best compliment!!’💪🏻
You need to wait one week “for your shoulders to recover!”
2 days two ibufrofen and all 👌😂
Copper coat is pretty expensive, how many years do you expect from it.
No expensive at least here.. 6 layer for sure not less 10 years!!!
I have coppercoat on my HR36. Applied in 2013. Stil doing an excellent job!

Yes off course isopropyl need to be used to clean and degrease before apply coppercoat
@@sea4see ...I saw they put some caps of Isopropanol into the resin...
