So so cool!!! And the yarn you chose makes this sample look like a bamboo mat….
It sure does!!
Very cool. I like that it doesn't have holes in it. Thank you for your patience and your calm voice and way of explaining how and why you do it.
I have some ideas for this stitch! I'm hoping I can still purchase some of that fleece yarn and make a nice mat for me to put my tootsies on when I get out of the shower, for just one idea. It's the first thought that came to mind, especially after finishing a blanket for one of my sons today with that yarn. He loved it BTW! Mom got a big hug!!
My gosh! I’ve been doing this and never knew till now what it was called…you’re awesome Crystal!!
The Stich looks so much different with the yellow yarn.
Thank you
This fabric is double thick, yet due to its construction it remains flexible and draping. I have a load of wool from a yarn store closing, so I'm thinking this will be the stitch I use for next winter's coat! (I'm a slow crocheter so I'd better get started now!)
I love this stitch. I made my daughter a blanket using this stitch. I used 3 colors to match her calico cat. It was beautiful.
Add it to the list of your wonderful tutorials! You are so nice to share your vast crochet knowledge 😊
I saved the original stitch tutorial on the Rice Stitch. I knew it was Ice version of Puzzle because I was thrilled you had done all the site surfing for me and found it. I looked once but 👎. The site can be a little daunting for folks like me! 😂 I’m loving the recent stitch tutorials. I feel I’m more confident and less intimidated than looking at a long list of stitch tutorials. I’m so thrilled your list is there so now I can go back an pick up one or two stitches every now and then and add it to my personal playlist. You are such a Godsend Crystal! Thanks for always being you!
BTW I sing Mama Told Me There’d Be Days Like This A lot!! It was almost daily before I retired!!!😂😂
I am totally in love with this stitch pattern! I have seen it many times but haven't made it yet. What an easy stitch! I think it would make a great stitch for a scrap afghan.
I really like how solid that stitch is. I can't wait to use that for a number of items. Thanks for a great tutorial Crystal!❤
This couldn't have come at a more Perfect time. My Husky/Border collie fur babies ate the old one I made cuz they where grounded to the mud room til baths 😂 thank you, love your projects❤❤
This stitch works up such a nice fabric with some of the busy variegated yarns. Thanks for the tutorial Crystal!!❤😊
My mind automatically went to a mug rug in cotton yarn - oh the possibilities thank you
What a beautiful stitch! I have to add this to my list of stitches
Really enjoying the last few weeks of stitch tutorials, simple ones!! I'm making the poncho you husband modeled from years ago for my son. He said no poufy girly stitches😂
No one else has perfected the tutorials like Crystal. Thanks for another great one and I can’t wait to make a blanket with this stitch. ❤
Lovely stitch. Thanks for tutorials. ❤
WOW! What a beautiful stitch! This would be great for SO MANY projects! Love this sturdy stitch! Thank you Crystal!
💜🌟💕⭐️❤️🧶
This is a nice solid stitch, no holes. Thank you for sharing. 💜🙏🏻
My first thought was this is a nice area rug. Such beautiful colors you've been using lately.
I can't get over how intricate and difficult (& so pretty!) that looks in a variegated yarn. But it's cool looking in a solid color too. A Two-Fer, my Favorite!! :)
This is my favorite stitch of all time I made a pocket shawl with it.
TY TY TY for being interesting, and for a pattern that is simple yet stunning, AND for keeping the instructions clear and quick! (assuming that we know the basics so you dont need to reinvent the crochet wheel). I will definitely follow you!
I decided I was going to start trying new stitches and was going to write them in a book I could reuse over & over & I hate post stitches, The Rice stitch was the first stitch I saw about month and a half ago! I stuck with it and made a cotton dishcloth. 😂😂
Nice and simple but beautifull
Beautiful! Thanks for your tutorial. You have a teaching style that makes sense every time.
Good Morning Crystal ❤🥰!
This is a beautiful stitch as is the fabric it makes. Your instructions on how to do it are easy to follow. I also like how you encourage us to try even though it might be difficult at first. TY!
Love this, it will make a nice baby blanket, little fingers can't get stuck in any holes 😊
Hi Crystal, have a great day ❤
Wow it's beautiful I was just looking thru your playlist for a stitch for a tote bag I thought Elizabeth stitch but this is it
YARN SALE! Hi Crystal and everyone, I just saw lion brand yarn 6 skiens for 12 bucks! Love your channel, and have a blessed day
I’ve been looking for a nice thick stitch to make new placemats, I think this will work out perfectly. Your tutorials are always amazing 💕
Glad it was helpful!
Good morning ❤
You just make it look easy..it's 1 for me to practice . thank you Crystal..great tutorial.😊
It's very pretty and a very solid stitch! Thanks Crystal! ❤️🇺🇸🦄🧚
Wow, what an amazing stitch! The fabric it makes looks woven. How cool! Thanks, Crystal! ❤
Thank you for the tip about using the chain one spot instead of the top of the double crochet stitch. Now maybe it will line up better.
Makes a nice warm fabric. Thank you Bag O Day! ❤❤❤
You're the best teacher ❤️
I've always loved the look of this stitch. Great tutorial!
I love it🥰! I know exactly what yarn I’m gonna use! Thanks Crystal, take care 🙏🏻🤗💕!

@@sltgirl35 Thank you for the support and God Bless you and your family always 🙏🏽🧶☺️
You can do it. It's a simple stitch once you get it. You will end up watching TV doing this one 😉
I love this stitch. Thank you Crystal.
I just wanted to thank you for explaining and teaching by showing how to do different stitches.
I must admit that this is the first tutorial that I've watched. I do watch almost every yarn video. I'm so loving the way you hold your yarn! You are the only other person I've seen that holds it the same as me😅
You are amazing!!!! You know how to crochet so many stitches. who taught you had a Crochet? I love to watch you as much as I can. I wish you and your family a happy and healthy new year.
The yarn is exquisite. Looks like an Egyptian pattern done up. Your taste in yarn is so earthy. I can relate. You had a pastel hank on a very recent vid. Reminded me of bubblegum rock somehow. Must be the pain meds. Ever notice some kinds of pain turn off the ability to do a lot of things except crochet? 😁🦋🦓⛄
I❤doing front and back post projects!
Hi Crystal, You really have a library of stitches. I love watching you demonstrate how to do stitches. I have done this stitch before and didn't know the name of the stitch. I made my son a full-size blanket for his bed ( using caron latte cakes ). Thank you so much for all that you do. You are so much appreciated . Hugs Donna 💙💙💙💙💙
thank you for another stitch tutorial ❤❤ you are wonderful teacher
Thank you! 😊
Cool stitch… I haven’t been adventurous enough to try the post stitches yet, but you give a great explanation.
You can do it!
You can do it! And once you get the hang of it you can watch TV and crochet this... 😉
😊sooo much excellence! Thanks Crystal ❤
Oh, I just love this stitch! So nice and thick and just beautiful. I got my dad a new winter coat for Christmas, and now I know what stitch to use to make him a matching scarf. Thank you so much for this and for all you do!
Another awesome stitch! Thanks, Crystal! ❤
You taught me front/back post stitches to begin with, so this stitch will be fun! Thanks. 😊
This looks like a woven rug ❤

Great for textured cushion covers

Love this, piece of art from you Crystal xx
Beautiful stitch Crystal ❤
Great solid stitch! Thank you Crystal for your guidance!!❤
Let’s hope I can do this with some 32-year-old stash. I’ve been trying to get rid of. It’s a very splitting yarn. But a beaut bright beautiful yellow that I bought in a going out of business sale. I think I bought 25 skeins. Fingers crossed out get this blanket done pray for me.
Love this stitch. ❤️ You’re always so encouraging with your tutorials. Looking forward to more videos.
❤wonderful stitch
Such a beautiful color and neat stitch!
Looks great, I just have a hard time with the back post, guess I just need more practice. Thank you for the tutorial
Love the stitch so easy and looks beautiful. Thank you Crystal. You did it again.
Wow that's an absolutely gorgeous stitch! Will definitely be using this one! Ty Crystal! ✨✨✨
Thank you so much for explaining this. I appreciate it. Hope you’re having a wonderful day.❤
I use this front post, back post stitch as a border on the tiny blankets i make for my local hospital's nursery and NICU.
I was wondering, because I Love Loopy Crochet You Tube channel made a ruffle and I wasn’t sure if it was this stitch. She made a shawl and then put on a ruffle. The shawl was more solid, using a size 1 yarn! She was not clear about the stitch she used. She said front loop back loop but couldn’t remember the name , but posted the stitch for the shawl. But she didn’t specify if the ruffle was the same. She said it was a border from another blanket, which she didn’t post. But it looks like Crystals sample in a loose version of this stitch. Does it ruffle because the stitches around the blanket are close together? And did you use a different yarn than you used for the NICU blanket. Is your blanket made with the rice stitch? I’m confused, and I would like to make that shawl and ruffle, and use it for other blanket borders. The “I Love Loopy Crochets “ video was the one that’s titled:
Finished Objects, Yarn and WIP!! It was from 3 weeks ago. The shawl starts at 7:11. If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate it. 😊❤️
That’s so nice that you make blankets for the NICU. I am making baby blankets too, that I would like to donate to needy mothers for their babies. Take care.
Gosh.....I bet I could even do this one! 😆
Thanks Crystal for another beautiful stitch tutorial. The front & back post stitches are one of my favs. I think it looks gorgeous in that yarn you chose. ❤gayle
I love this stitch!
Always love your tutorials 😊.
What a gorgeous stitch
Can't wait to try this!
That would make a pretty rug👍
Yes! Great idea
It's a heavy stitch, uses a lot of yarn. But it's one of my favorites.
Nice stitch. I will have to try that one
Beautiful as always Crystal
That's a really pretty stitch.
I love it!! Thank you for sharing!
Oh, very nice 👍🏼 Can’t wait to try it ❤
Love this stitch , thanks Crystal ❤🤗
I like this. Would be great for making a rug.
Great stitch.
Live this. Thank you for teaching it to us.
This is pretty!
I recently learned the waffle stitch but was having trouble with the two row repeat. I am hopping that this will be an easier alternative.
I would like to make place mats for my table out of this.
