I'm so old I got the wrinkles yet I ain't ever heard of the crinkle stitch 🤣It's a pretty stitch. Thank you for showing how to reduce or eliminate the gap at the end of the row.
Another gorgeous stitch from my favorite crocheter! I've been crocheting for almost 40 years, & I love that you constantly teach me new stitches! Ty Crystal! 🥰🥰🥰
This stitch is really neat Crystal, It is funny as this was posted I was in middle of doing a wash cloth with your Staggered half double crochet tutorial. Thank you for this, I will try this next! I always do a wash cloth first to check the stitches out!❤
I can’t you how satisfying it is, as an eternal klutz, that I managed to do a sample of this - without mistakes! Miraculous!
Despite having a terrible spatial AND numeric memory, your stitch videos always make me feel that I can just keep unravelling and doing over, no stress.
I’m amazed at now being able to produce a cast-on chain that’s reasonably consistent, and do slip stitch, single, half-double, double. Any day soon, I’ll be able to do those front and back posts without always forgetting which one comes next!
When I started crocheting a few months ago I had no idea how many crochet stitches there! It’s been so much fun learning & watching all these cool stitches. Thank you! You’re a good teacher too because I understood the concept of front & back post stitches but didn’t want to try it yet because I wasn’t quite sure HOW to actually tell what was the post but I love that you show you can pull them apart to see them😊
Turn yur phone sideways, it'll be bigger to see
If you ever look at an antique needle work book from say 1844 or so there are so many more that no one ever used anymore b/c there more utilitarian in nature & meant for everyday abuse. Library of Congress has a bunch digitized online. They're cool books.😉

Where online might these be found? I’d love to see them.
Hi, enjoy learning everything about crochet😬 You will never find a better teacher than Crystal where crochet and anything yarn is related. She’s the best on UA-cam 👌💜🇬🇧
Love this stitch! Pretty! Thanks! ❤
Love the easy stitches!! ❤
"You don't get nowhere if you quit" What an amazing quote. Absolutely love the stitch tutorials. I'm still trying to get them all documented so that I can remember all of the ones I want to try!
Your tutorials are so much easier than trying to read directions in a book
Excellent tutorial as usual! Thanks so much for sharing with all of us!
I love trying new stitches, thank you. I was so excited to see one of your patterns in the Mary Maxim catalog I just received. ❤
I would do a scarf with this stitch as I don't think I want to do that much back posts. Lol but it is beautiful. ❤😊
I agree! I don't like back posts either.
I have learned that if you squeeze the stitch that the back post stitch is going around, it is easier to do. It kind of makes the stitch pop out somewhat and makes the hook go around the post easier.
Ooooh love the name ! Never heard of Crinkle stitch. It looks like fun! ❤❤❤
This is just gorgeous, so many ideas going through my head. I like your idea of how to end the rows, will definitely have to try it.
But I shouldn’t be working on a project while I watch/listen to your tutorials, working on your basket weave blanket, so I’m doing the four FPDC and catch myself doing what you are doing on this video 🤭😬🤣. Just a little frogging needed, next time I will put down my work and just watch and enjoy 💕
Hello BOD Family ❤❤❤
Hi this is a beautiful stitch ❤❤
Congratulations on your Mary Maxim design! I received my catalog yesterday and saw your picture on the back page. I live in Michigan and used to shop at their store twice a year!!!
I love that, I can do your tutorials, but I’m having problems at the ends, I don’t know how but I loose stiches on my journey getting larger. What do you think I’m might be doing or not doing. I seem to do fine for about 5 or 6 rows then I loose my way on getting the right stitch to start a new row
Be thick enough to say that it would make a thick hot pad? Like the thermal stitch?
Very beautiful stitch and a m not crazy about the post stitches but it's a new year and I am making myself learn and do things I'm uncomfortable with so I will conquer this stitch.
Looks like it would make great washcloths too.
Love your tips as you teach. Thanks!
Thank you Crystal another great tutorial xx
I like this stitch. It creates a thick fabric. Beautiful 🤩. Also I love the “GEM” you’re using 😉
Thank you! 😊
Are y on well, lokse like it, parkinson maby..No disrespekt, but i'v been whathing you fore a bit...look to me that your on well...

Crystal is such a good teacher! Thank you.
I love all the texture in this stitch! Thanks, Crystal!
👋 Crystal! Always appreciate your positivity. "You've got this!" Keep teaching us old yarnies new tricks! 😊 😃 😀
Suggestions: Please name the stitch sò it is easy to fińd when to rewatch so I can check my work. I Love watching and learning from yòu Crystal. TY, Renae
The side you prefer reminds me of rows of wasp, I don't know why they just do. LOL I'guess I'm going to have to play around with this stitch. Thanks Crystal.
You are brilliant Crystal, not only do you show us how to crochet, but you are so encouraging and supportive on those stitches that I would normally avoid. You are a wonderful teacher and I appreciate you so much. Thank you 😊
Thank you so much!
Thanks Crystal! Never seen this crinkle stitch and I’ve seen a lot of stitches over the years 🤣. Can always rely on BOD to keep putting out new and interesting stuff 👌💜🇬🇧
Hi Crystal! I love this stitch! I don't think I've ever seen it before. It's very pretty! Thank you for a great tutorial. God bless you!
Thank you once again for such a superb tutorial. Love that you share your tips and tricks as we go. Crystal you really have no idea how finding YOU has been such a Blessing. Love what you do!!
Hi its Mary I just finished poly chromatic blanket. It was for my son I used Mandela hombre in harmony and black. It turned out beautiful. I encourage people to use that border which after the first round became easy. My son said wow mom you made a Dallas cowboy blanket. It wasn't my intention but I took credit for it. If I can get a reaction like that ill take it. Thank you so much for teaching me. I'm on to Harlem him blanket.
Hi Crystal! I've made a blanket with what the pattern I used called "the crunch stitch, but it was completely different than what you've shown here. I made this like 3 years ago, so I don't remember off hand what the stich actually was. I like this though and I can't wait to try it!
It seems like every stitch you do, I see sweaters 😂😂😂😂😂 You’re awesome and generous. I love how you are excited about crocheting. Thanks 😊
I love your stitch tutorials. Oh, a scarf😊 you are such a great teacher!
Another great textured stitch! So many to choose from! Thanks so much Crystal! ❤️😊
Thank you. for such excellent work and sharing it. God continue to bless her. Amen!
❤nice pattern I always seem have trouble with back post I keep practiseing I can do front post thanks love your videos
Beautiful stitch looking forward to making a scarf and a blanket from this thank you Crystal.
Thanks for another easier pattern. I've got 3 ponchos to make and want semi-full patterns.
Was watching this video and doing the rows as you did them and i realized that you skipped row eight which i believe should of been what you said was row 9, am i correct?
Those back post stitches😳 glad I can watch this over and over! Will be practicing! 😊
I was thinking about all the stitch tutorials you put out. If you make all your swatches the same size, you could then join them together to make a stitch tutorial blanket, and auction it off on your charity auction.
Front post, back post stitches always look more intimidating than they actually are. They really are easy once you get the hang of it.
We tend to be more drawn to things that go up from left to right - might be based on how we read from left to right and rising (getting better, improving, etc as we progress). Probably the other way for those who read right to left.
I did a swatch and found that I really like this stitch. I think I will use it for a scsrf. Thank you so much for showing us. 🤗
I've never seen a post stitch around a 1/2 double. Nice tip to close up the row ending gap❤
BEAUTIFUL stitch Crystal!!!
Always love learning from you. I may not get it the first time but I will always keep trying. 4:34
Another great one! Love the trick to keep a straight edge, Crystal. Thank you!
love this one. As I like patterns that use half double crochet. Also clever way to avoid gaps at the end of rows
You sure have been busy!! WHAT IS YOUR PO BOX?
Great tutorial on a nice stitch!! Thank you for the tips on no gap, no hangover!!
I have 2 baby blankets to make. So many patterns to choose from!!!
Yeehaw! Stitch time. A new one to go with the recent measurement tutorial.
I am loving these stitch tutorials! Thank you!
Thanks Crystal!!! Have a good night!!!❤
Thanks Crystal for teaching me another new stitch ❤
You are so right! We will never get anywhere by quitting.
You are amazing! Thanks again for another tutorial.
Another excellent video! Thank you.
I love it so far save all your wonderful patterns thank you
This is so pretty. I will be using this for something.
I’m going to try a post double to see what it looks like 😊.
Every day is a school day with our Crystal ! 🤎
Would make a nice multi-stitch hat 😉
I really like this stitch. But I'm curious. The label recommends an I hook and you use a J. Is that a personal preference or does the I make the work too tight?
I don't go by the label.... I prefer a J with this yarn 😊
Thank you Crystal nice stitch
So happy to see cool easy NEW stitches TY
I agree with you. I like the other side better!
My most hated stitch, bpsc.
So enjoy your tutorials and have used many many of them with pleasure 🎉
Thanks so much 😊
I Just made a shawl in that color
I like this stitch. I will give it a try!
There you go with another cool stitch with post stitches. I can’t resist……I have to give it a try. Just finished The Vintage Wallpaper Throw (still needs a border) and I will try this stitch on a 7 x 9 rectangle before doing a big project. Thank you for the tutorial and for keeping my mind busy with new things to learn.😊❤
Thanks A Million for sharing
Beautiful yarn color!!!!❤❤❤❤
Interesting. Very nubbly.
i agree with the side you like best
This lady never ceases to amaze me with the amount of beautiful crochet patterns she’s made! Thanks Crystal, you truly are amazing. 💕
Hi Crystal & I am ready ❤🥰!
Beautiful!!
I saw this stitch on my feed this morning and can’t wait to try it. I love the texture front & back & it looks fairly easy just a two row repeat but it looks more difficult to do than it is. Thanks for sharing & showing this stitch!!!
Oh, Crystal, thanks for showing how to close the gap and prevent the hangover side. I like it.
Great stitch! Thanks!
Hi Crystal, so many stitches to learn. Your tutorials are so helpful. I love your style of teaching them.
Really like this one.
