@НАТО в шоке, США обосрались Coming from someone that has owned all three, Honda is the most reliable and cheapest to own by a very long shot it’s not even comparable. Chrysler is some of the worst in terms of reliability and Ford is a hit or miss
It's about 400lbs heavier than it should be, more complicated than it should be with all the hybrid motors, it's often slower than the competition it's compared against. Why should one get this over the competition?
THE PRICE. It costs as much as an Audi R8 V10 Plus, but has less power, is slower, has a crappy interior, and has a V6 instead of a V10. Hybrid blah blah blah sure but they easily could've just put a V8 or a V10 (like the original concept) in it and made the best car ever. But wait there's more! A well specced NSX costs as much as a Lamborghini Huracan Spider! Or a Ferrari California T, or even a Ferrari 488 Spider! Daily? Sure, but a Turbo S, F Type SVR, an AMG GTS or an AMG GTR, Bentley Continental GT, Aston Martin DB11 etc. Why in the world would anyone leave all those great choices and go for a car that doesn't even know what it's supposed to be?
Very true. Those people should go buy the old car and stop complaining about technology like an old man who can't figure out how to text on his cell phone lol.
The R8 V10 Plus is almost 40k more expensive. It still might be a better value, but the tech in this car is years ahead. Yes, the Audi is faster, but who cares? This thing is already fast enough that you couldn't (or really shouldn't) push it on a public road. From everything I've heard, it's also a joy to drive. The base R8 weighs almost the same, costs slightly more, is far less advanced, and has less power. I'd say Acura did well on this one.
These things sound INCREDIBLE with an aftermarket exhaust. I don't remember which one it was, but a shop in Florida has an exhaust that makes this much louder and you hear the turbos 100x more. Completely changes the car.
I think it is caused when the two panes of glass sandwiching the lami are too similar in thickness. I used to work for a window company and i know the mfr would measure glass pane thickness to thousandths of an inch to make sure equal width panes werent used in a sgl insualted (dbl pane) sash specifically to avoid this rainbow problem. I find thin film interference references on wiki, but Im not sure that is what is happening here.
I for one appreciate Brent's comment, because I was wondering what causes that effect myself. I've seen it on a few other One Take cars' windshields, not many though.
As a current 2005 NSX owner and fellow auto journalist I love the new NSX. I reviewed a blue one for my channel. Is it priced too high? Yes, but it beats the Nissan GTR Nismo in every performance category and the Nismo costs $175k. You can get $30k off a new NSX without trying. Go for a low option car $160k, get $30k off sticker and you have an amazing car for $130k. Do I like the 570s more ? Yes, but you will pay $65k more for the same performance and you won’t have Acura reliability.
"You can get $30k off a new NSX without trying" Humor me this, if the car was desirable and selling well to its target audience, would you get that big of a discount?
matthewmatthew638 thats the whole deal...it isn't selling well right now. Its a great car but since no one is buying that means the few who do get a better deal.
Oh for sure in person it's gorgeos, especially in black. And it actually sounds pretty sick at idle, has a v8 kinda burble. Actually moving eeeh not so pretty sounding.

S2000 owner here. While it irks me to no end that Honda offers us currently zero RWD sports cars, I'm glad they made this car...it's truly special. Time will tell how it lives up to Hondas prior rep.
I've seen mixed reviews, Matt seems to like the steering, but I've heard it called numb before, and that is due to the front motors. I don't hate the car, but I think it would have been a better drivers car not to mention cheaper without the hybrid system. Jeffrey I like it. The critics don't like it because not a manual and it has gotten heavier with all the technology in it. The 90s car was just a motor a manual transmission and really lightweight so it was really fun around corners. This car to car enthusiast is the opposite of what made the original nsx great.
I have driven the original and loved it. I have not driven the new one, but electric shit and the added weight is an instant turn-off for me. The original is like Honda made a reliable Lotus that looked like a million bucks (V8 Esprits only weighed 150 lbs less than a NSX) . Knock 400 lbs off this and ditch the hybrid crap and now we have have something. I think 400 lbs over the original is a fair trade off for the increased power and safety regulations built in. Simple, light, fast, reliable is a hell of a benchmark, and Honda missed it this time. I also think the price difference vs a GT-R is a major issue for Honda, even though I am not a fan of the GT-R.
НАТО в шоке, США обосрались - you realize we are talking about a hybrid car that gets roughly the same highway mileage as a 6.2L V8 Corvette right? It's a petrol lover on it's own. We aren't talking about a Tesla. I agree the NSX would have been better without the hybrid system. It might have been a bit slower to 60mph, but everywhere else I would bet that the weight saved would offset the small amount of power the electric motors are providing. Without the hybrid system the car could also cost significantly less.
Waited so long for this! Only 3:00 minutes into the clip and the way you explained the complex driveline of the NSX just blew my mind. I have seen and read some reviews and none - NONE of them has done that so good. True motorsport journalist right here!
The problem I see with these types of cars in 4-5 years once the people with money move on to the next new thing, is that maintenance will be horrendous for the "average" buyer who happens to pick one up. At least past super cars like an older Lambo, or previous gen R8, or any 911, are much more simple in terms of what they are. I can see all the tech in these new supercars being ridiculous to maintain one they are out of warranty, especially battery pack replacements. That batteries are one thing that no matter what you do, will inevitably break down and need complete replacing. However, all of this will likely lead to even further depreciation.
Yep it well be like the McLaren 12c today... With the massive depreciate you might be able to buy one but you can't escape the fact it was once a $250k car with commensurate maintenance costs.
goatmonkey2112 I would argue that the tech and the batteries could astronomical to maintain long term, more so and any cars we have ever seen to date. When you boil it down, supercars from previous generations are simple in comparison. Engine, trans, suspension. There is just so much more going on in these new hybrid supercars that when components start to fail, I think it might be shockingly ridiculous to maintain
That is definitely a possibility. I think that car companies have gotten pretty good at making electric motors and batteries that are pretty reliable now though. It does have kind of a trick AWD system and a bunch of tech that could potentially fail long term. I wouldn't be too worried about the ICE/turbos/general interior bits, Honda is pretty good at that stuff. We will just have to wait and see. Meet back here October 25, 2027.
My god, it's beautiful. It is one of the most beautiful cars of all time. I don't get why it's so underrated. I would assume it's among the most reliable supercars on the road. I'm so glad Matt Farah is giving it a fair shake and the respect it deserves.
I've never been jealous of the cars you drive on your channel... until now. Here's an automobile that meets all the qualifications of the word amazing.
I mean it doesn’t do it for me, it doesn’t check the right boxes off that I want in a car but the people sitting here bashing it, calling it “garbage” have no idea what they’re talking about.
Sam I think he's implying that half the idiots calling the nsx "garbage" are those people who spend their days on car forums arguing over shit they've never experienced. Hence, being anti social and unable to afford the cars they talk about.
I am what you would consider a Honda fan boy (even though I'm 47) I'm restoring a CRX si now and have always owned Hondas. I have not driven one of these yet but I will. I love it and i am glad you gave a good unbiased analysis of the car. It does not have the panache of Ferrari or lambo but neither did the old one. Look how the old ones are loved now. This car is fantastic to look at and a technology monster. Thank you Honda for building such a machine!
You can Matt is WHIPPING in this video!! With the tech specs I don't doubt this review is influenced much by Acura's desires at all. Two electric motors working separately is an insanely good platform
Mr Farah! I`ve been following the New NSX reviews because as most people the first gen left a very good impression to my likings.. not much of the `real` car reviewers talk this good about this NSX.. Weight, electronics, price, power, brakes and handling and even the Acura logo; There was always something for some to complain about but you Sir, just made a fantastic truly honest review of what this car really deserves. Thank you Matt.
Honda won here. More efficient, less clinder, focused on luxury, acceleration, and is priced pretty for what youre getting. People are missing the point of the car Honda was able to appeal to so many different audiences environmentalist, their board of directors, countries emission regulations, working people (by employing people in Ohio's factories), and general wealthy consumers all at the sacrifice of design purest. It has a decent 6 cylinder and the comparable Torquay acceleration of a Tesla
My favorite one take yet! Its my dream car but it aint affordable for me. I live and breathe j35-j37 6mt sh-awd. Handling goodness of shawd and longitude mounted j35 tt must be a unreal experience. Feeling the grip. The power. Glad you liked it! Made my day
@@jasonJones-ks5co ha, Mercedes put 2 million miles on their cars on goat ranches on Turkey, Honda cannot complete and never will that was the 60' s. Only reason you think Honda is good is because of all the crappy American cars.
I don't get you people, back in the day when a weird and experimental super car came out it was the greatest thing in the world... then the new NSX comes out with the futuristic look and next level tech and people start spewing shit. Please stop being dumb.
"zomg but it doesn't have a stick shift transmission, a naturally aspirated motor without electric gizmos and pop up headlights!!!!11!111!!!!" - fanbois. Well, I'll give them this, pop up headlights are dope.
I love love the car... but nothing's perfect. If I bought one, two nags in the back of the mind that might never go away are: Weight and Complexity. It's hardly any different for a 918, either.
Finally a proper review of this car and explaining how it is fantastic value. Like the original. And the original didn't sell all that well so good to hear they are building them at capacity. Matt is the man.
No, the original NSX - stood for "New", "Sportscar" "Unknown world" (the X was a reference to the mathematical symbol X, which stands for an unknown variable)...according to wiki.
I have to admit, you have totally sold me, a huge doubter of the new NSX, on this car. I was around for all the years of rumors and spy photos and other hype-y fanboist predictions in the tortoise race up to the release of this car. By the time it FINALLY came out I could have cared less because it really didn't seem like it had anything truly distinctive about it in the way the original one did. This video and how you explain the drive train tech and operation has very much changed my opinion. It sounds pretty awesome, it certainly looks like a supercar, it shifts like lightning, and I had no idea the electric motors were employed in quite that way. I also can't say I've heard you talk so straight and seriously about how good a car is. Great video, probably your best one take ever IMO.
Finally, a technical, well-reasoned review of the new NSX. Yes, the 911 Turbo s has more practicality, but it also has a ton of electronic nannies because the engine stick out beyond the ass end. The NSX is a more advanced design. Thanks Matt!
CAN U IMAGINE A TYPE R VERSION OF THIS PUPPY, IF THIS ONE ALREADY GIVES THE NISMO A RUN FOR ITS MONEY IMAGINE HOW SICK THE R WOULD BE! PLEASE PUT AN END TO THE GTR FAN BOYS! TOO MANY OF THOSE!!!
I think people base their own opinion off of others and are stuck with what that person said about the product. I can guarantee 99% of the people who comment how bad the car is has never driven the car let alone seen it in person. All their ideas come from others UA-cam videos based off what the creators have said about it. Go drive it for yourself till then your opinion is obsolete.
That could be said about almost all info passed around the net these days. No one does their own homework it seems and are very biased and uninformed. Ignorance and opinionated is the new norm...
dash capture's of Vermont I wasn't speaking to you, I was replying to the OP... and I agree with you thats why I still drive a BMW M5 E39 & Porsche 951 turbo :)
Wow! Great video, Matt! This is literally the best the new NSX has sounded to me on camera. And it might be the best sounding turbo V6, to me at least.
That sound tho! I watched with subtitles on and when Matt stops talking and all you hear is the engine the subtitles say [MUSIC] - couldnt agree more autogenerated subtitles!
The peanut gallery back at it again, as if they've ever driven the original, or will drive this version. I may never get the opportunity to drive either one, but if you're watching and listening and honestly believing you wouldn't enjoy driving this car, you're either blinded by fanboyism or you hate fun.
Yea it's just like $50k overpriced in my opinion, they should have went with a small v8 and added turbos to that bitch maybe then it would be worth $200k
Thanks for doing a solid review of this car. So many people bash on the car and I’m glad to see someone not just hate on it for no reason. Would definitely love to get my hands on one some day.
Sorry have to correct you Matt, during development and at launch the original Honda NSX acronym stood for New Sportscar Experimental. "New sportscar experience" is something that Acura's marketing people have cooked up likely because their focus group thinks that in 2017 the word "experimental" sounds unsafe.
FINALLY SOMEONE DID A GOOD REVIEW REGARDING THIS CAR. PEOPLE NEED TO KEEP IN MIND, THIS CAN BE KEPT FOR 10 YEARS AND STILL HOLD ITS VALUE AS WELL AS WORK COMPARED TO THE COMPETITION. MOST OF THE COMPETITORS LOSES 3/4 OF ITS VALUE DUE TO RELIABILITY ISSUES. WITH THAT BEING SAID, I CANT WAIT TO GET A USED ONE TO SHIP OUT TO DR.
I think Matt has guys stationed around to look for them when driving a hauling ass car. Definitely day and time can make a huge difference. Weekends are usually off limits to any kind of driving like this.
I'd still say that generally, no. On twisty backroads you are much less likely to see a cop in the US. They mostly sit on highways or near places with lots of traffic.
US is too large to patrol everywhere. Cops mainly stay in the inhabited areas because that's where the crime is. They'll come out to clean up if Farrah wraps it around a tree
Normally I'd be on your side, but it's not a Honda. It's an entirely separate division devoted to a totally different type of car. That's like saying a Cadillac is a Chevy, they just aren't even on the same level.
I have seen so much content online about the new NSX that paints it as a failure in many ways, but this video honestly sold me on it. I understand why it exists and I think it has a place of its own not just on the market but for enthusiasts as well. Edit: Also it looks sick in that colour.
im not a massive NSX person but for the price its possibly the best bang for buck out of the supercars. And being Acura aka Honda based reliability shouldn't be an issue either.Matt did you say it will beat a Huracan in a straight line!!?? Wow that I had no idea of actually. It is one of the nicest cars ever made aswell.Congrats to acura its so much better then the original and anyone who says other wise isnt thinking clearly.I seen one at the dealer and the interior and the way you sit in it is unbelievably amazing and futuristic.
I wasn't sure about this car at first, but after seeing it drive it's pretty awesome. And its pretty cool of you to take those other people for rides as well they are very lucky to have had their one takes on this day haha
Work hard enough you’ll easily get one, brand new they’re about 150k but they’ve depreciated quite quickly now depending on the mileage you can get one between 100-110k. It’s definitely not cheap but it’s attainable compared to other modern super cars.
Having driven one on the track, they are awesome. They truly pull from the corner, Matt is correct these cars are very quick. I for one would love to own one.
If anyone EVER questioned/bitched about WHY Acura decided to go this route with the NSX...they need to watch the beginning of this video. You couldn't have said this any better, Matt. Good on you!
Sorry but... the 1st gen NSX stood for new car experience, but the 2nd gen stands for new sports car experience thanks to the marketers who needed a little bit of a new twist. You can find that online,. Plus I heard it from Ted Klaus himself. blog.dupontregistry.com/acura/nsx/production-acura-nsx-revealed-january/
Honda should have offered a base version form100k with no hybrid elements. Stick shift, mid engine v6 tt. That would have been received much better and compare to the 911R
Smartasses on the internet be like those stereotype girlfriends: STI Old Engine = omg old tech, bring on the new engine NSX New Engine = OMGG New engine, I don't like you anymore you've CHANGED!!!!!!!
THIS CAR IS UNDERRATED! Piriod! I think this car gets hate for the same reason outstanding people do. If someone is REALY an outstanding person, there will be imediatly people who build storys about the person to make him look NOT SO outstanding. Thats the nature of humanity saidly. I belive all words of the reviewer! This car deserves it! And everyone who says this should be at the pricepoint og a nissan gt3 has no clou how many technical engineering it needs to make such a marvelous "product" like this NSX is.
Great review of my favorite car! I had to watch it twice (for now). A true car guy's review that doesn't waste time on criticizing multimedia, switches, stitching and other irrelevant stuff in this kind of car.
Not Real lmao you’re pretty unintelligent if you think in any way possible that this Acura sounds better than a fucking R35...... but an aftermarket exhaust on both and you still have the same situation.... R35 will always sound better than this overpriced turd on wheels
Brad Having driven an r35 with a standard exhaust and then the same car with an armytrix exhaust I can honestly say I don't care too much for the sound of it.
People will always judge shit they dont understand. You really made my day. So happy you got to experience it! My garage has had 2 2010 tl sh awd 6mt. Track Monster. Shawd loves going dast and having grip.such a great sleeper !
I am about 4 years away from buying a used 570S/GT or something at that level and the NSX intrigues me because of the performance level and the value it provides as well as the Acura/Honda reputation for reliability. I wonder what if any special needs a car of this level of technology will need but I may very well pick up one of these in a few years on the used market and take that chance. Thanks for a great review and for providing a honest perspective, you are right most seem to have opinions but when you ask if they have driven the car they say no. Amazing how folks can develop opinions about cars based on what they have read from someone who also hasn't driven the car.
So much hate for this car and I don’t get it. Don’t come with the “but it’s priced like a V10 R8” garbage either. This car has more tech and is pushing super cars forward. It’s more like a P1/918/LaF Light. Also, people said the same “it’s like driving a video game” crap about the GTR when it came out too and look how people have changed their tune. Granted, this car is more expensive than a GTR by a fair amount but the argument still applies.
Pushing super cars forward in making them more complicated and heavy and worse sounding, yet still slower than the normal combustion engine competition?! Yeah great job!
kraenk12 Have you looked at cars over the last 10 years? Technology is what is pushing cars this direction. The fact that we can make cars weigh 3800lbs or more that do 0-60 in less than 3-4 seconds while having a smaller carbon footprint and better gas mileage is astounding. Crawl out from the rock you’re living under.
99% of the people who claim it's "overpriced" "not worth it" "almost as much as an R8!!" can't even afford this car. 99% of the people say this car is "slow" "not as fast as a 570S" "slower than R8" has never driven a supercar on the track. Also, for the people who say "It's not as good as the old NSX", I bet you've never owned the OG NSX as well. So before you comment some of your bullshit, just know that you, an average joe who's never owned the OG NSX or any supercar, are irrelevant.
A doctor does not himself need to have had a disease in order to treat the disease in others. People can still have valid opinions about value, positive or negative, without being able to buy the car.
Instead of making general assumptions about what everyone is coming from, maybe you should look at yourself in the mirror and stop being judgemental. People who ARE in the market for this car... have overwhelmingly chose to buy competitors cars instead. Hence the massive, massive discounts that are plainly obvious upon one look at an Autotrader, would you say that those people are ignorant as well?
Dude in the ranger was doing his best to keep up pace. He quickly realized he couldn't and got out of the way. Good man.

DC Garage People want the same sports car from 20 years ago. They want it to be meant for them and no one else.

Reviews are negative because it reeks of being complicated for complications sake, on VIR it's as fast as a Camaro ZL1, which is a 25k rental car with go fast bits.

Is that the machete guy Jeep Patriot?
Gangster. Except for the sleeping-in-a-Patriot part.
Waited so long for this! Only 3:00 minutes into the clip and the way you explained the complex driveline of the NSX just blew my mind. I have seen and read some reviews and none - NONE of them has done that so good. True motorsport journalist right here!
The nice thing about people not liking it is that someday it may depreciate to a price point that normal people can afford. Maybe 10-15 years or so.
It obviously won't be cheap to maintain, but probably a lot less than a McLaren, and maybe even less than a Porsche.
goatmonkey2112 I would argue that the tech and the batteries could astronomical to maintain long term, more so and any cars we have ever seen to date.
Finally, been waiting for you to release this video since you posted it on instagram
НАТО в шоке, США обосрались wtf why use a shitvic for a comparison ?
Sam I think he's implying that half the idiots calling the nsx "garbage" are those people who spend their days on car forums arguing over shit they've never experienced. Hence, being anti social and unable to afford the cars they talk about.
It isn't garbage but it weights 1780 kg
I am what you would consider a Honda fan boy (even though I'm 47) I'm restoring a CRX si now and have always owned Hondas. I have not driven one of these yet but I will. I love it and i am glad you gave a good unbiased analysis of the car. It does not have the panache of Ferrari or lambo but neither did the old one. Look how the old ones are loved now. This car is fantastic to look at and a technology monster. Thank you Honda for building such a machine!
Great quote for the magazines: "F-ing spectacular"
Noah Porter they're for real and they're fucking spectacular
You can Matt is WHIPPING in this video!! With the tech specs I don't doubt this review is influenced much by Acura's desires at all. Two electric motors working separately is an insanely good platform
This review is excellent.
You're saying lots of things that I like to tell people about this car.
50K too expensive. Just look at that interior.
My favorite one take yet! Its my dream car but it aint affordable for me. I live and breathe j35-j37 6mt sh-awd. Handling goodness of shawd and longitude mounted j35 tt must be a unreal experience. Feeling the grip. The power. Glad you liked it! Made my day
This is the most reliable super car out there. I’d take this over a huracan or 488 any day.
Me too!!!
because it has an Acura logo on it?
LegendInThaMakin yeah baby. Honda build quality cars. Best engine manufacturer in the world
Good point. You can’t beat Honda’s reliability.
@@jasonJones-ks5co ha, Mercedes put 2 million miles on their cars on goat ranches on Turkey, Honda cannot complete and never will that was the 60' s. Only reason you think Honda is good is because of all the crappy American cars.
Love it. It's the first reasonably priced hybrid supercar and it delivers mad performance. That clip of a flyby is epic!!
I can see somebody trying to retrofit pop ups to the new NSX
Grant Yazel car throttle did a video on that actually😂
I love love the car... but nothing's perfect. If I bought one, two nags in the back of the mind that might never go away are: Weight and Complexity. It's hardly any different for a 918, either.
humans have become nothing but vile assholes, everything must be negative.
Finally a proper review of this car and explaining how it is fantastic value. Like the original. And the original didn't sell all that well so good to hear they are building them at capacity. Matt is the man.
Would love to see a Type R version of this with maybe some bits inspired by the GT3 racecar.
I love both the old and new NSX! Both great supercars of their time.
Matt. The original NSX sold from 1991 - 2005 in the USA actually stood for "New" "Sportscar" "eXperimental"
And the 2nd gen stands for New Sportscar Experience thanks to the marketing team. Feel free to look it up. :)
Cool. Cheers
tj323i 😂😂😂
Does this mean the MDX stands for "Mediocre" "Driving" "eXperience"?
So glad to finally see this!
Finally, a technical, well-reasoned review of the new NSX. Yes, the 911 Turbo s has more practicality, but it also has a ton of electronic nannies because the engine stick out beyond the ass end. The NSX is a more advanced design. Thanks Matt!
Well, i fucking love the intake sound. Exhaust not so much
Well played sir, well played ; )
I was about to say, check out the fabspeed exhaust :)
One of my favorite videos of yours, Matt. Special combination of car and your feedback. Thanks!
CAN U IMAGINE A TYPE R VERSION OF THIS PUPPY, IF THIS ONE ALREADY GIVES THE NISMO A RUN FOR ITS MONEY IMAGINE HOW SICK THE R WOULD BE! PLEASE PUT AN END TO THE GTR FAN BOYS! TOO MANY OF THOSE!!!
What a spectacular car! A true 21st century car that manages to multiply most of the competition by 0. Thank you for the review.
10 Tunnels well said indeed
Mainly German fanboys
10 Tunnels agree
That could be said about almost all info passed around the net these days. No one does their own homework it seems and are very biased and uninformed. Ignorance and opinionated is the new norm...
dash capture's of Vermont I wasn't speaking to you, I was replying to the OP... and I agree with you thats why I still drive a BMW M5 E39 & Porsche 951 turbo :)
Wow! Great video, Matt! This is literally the best the new NSX has sounded to me on camera. And it might be the best sounding turbo V6, to me at least.
Awesome review thank you... wish we got them here in South Africa
That sound tho! I watched with subtitles on and when Matt stops talking and all you hear is the engine the subtitles say [MUSIC] - couldnt agree more autogenerated subtitles!
I knew this was a paid endorsement by Acura when he said that the new NSX would beat a Huracan in a straight line.
Thanks for the great ride!! That was a blast, and you are a hell of a driver!!
Sounds like Gran Turismo Sport in real life.
Easily one of your best One Takes. Awesome Job Matt!!!
The peanut gallery back at it again, as if they've ever driven the original, or will drive this version. I may never get the opportunity to drive either one, but if you're watching and listening and honestly believing you wouldn't enjoy driving this car, you're either blinded by fanboyism or you hate fun.
The same people that are bashing the NSX also think the GTR is the second coming of Christ. They have no experience in either.
best comment i've seen, well put neil
Yea it's just like $50k overpriced in my opinion, they should have went with a small v8 and added turbos to that bitch maybe then it would be worth $200k
exactly, they like try to avoid it, I can hop in any car and im sure it can be more fun than sitting on the internet talking shit about it.
Samuel Bowman A stock car that can run the Pikes Peak hill climb in 10 minutes is easily worth $200k in most people's minds... if they know about it
Thanks for doing a solid review of this car. So many people bash on the car and I’m glad to see someone not just hate on it for no reason. Would definitely love to get my hands on one some day.
Now we just need the Supra to come back.
nah, Toyota will ruin that just like Honda ruined the NSX
ChaosphereIX but nissan didnt ruin the gtr so......
ChaosphereIX ok
Done
Awesome review again, and awesome car. Every day I drive my 2018, I smile with delight.
guess i'll stay up for another 20 minutes
I always loved the the NSX, and this is the first time I'm really hearing it and watching it go. Wow, i need to go back to school ASAP. Nice job!
This video was like watching a video GAME. Nutty pace Farrah was able to keep up through the corners in that NSX
matt, you need to do a segment with chris harris.
acalthu I do, an entire show! drive on NBC sports Thursday nights at 9 eastern
You were getting in this One Take Matt. More than some other cars. I think your comfort level with the car matters!!! Sweet vid
It should've been sold as Honda in the US as well. Honda logo looks better, it has pedigree, communicates more.
Jose C. The only thing the Honda logo communicates nowaday is fartcan exhaust and overly loud sound systems. No thanks.
Fartcan exhausts in 2017? I thought ricers were a dead meme. You should probably get out of 2003.
Anomaly You should see my home town.
I'm curious , As someone not from the US, Do cops not patrol the canyons at all? I've never seen one in any of your videos.
Boba Fett They do a little recon beforehand.
They do, but depends on day of the week, time of day, and how frequently it's used.
This review was eXceptionally eXtraordinarily awesome to watch and listen to from 100% beginning to end. Really felt this one Matt! Great work!!
That's a cool Honda.
SwagToTheWheels yes it is
Lol it really is
Normally I'd be on your side, but it's not a Honda. It's an entirely separate division devoted to a totally different type of car. That's like saying a Cadillac is a Chevy, they just aren't even on the same level.
SwagToTheWheels only in North America it’s called Acura nsx rather than Honda nsx
Exactly, its a Honda- reliable and developed to the nine.
“New Sports Car Experimental” not “Experience”
This is one badass car. I love everything about it.
K20 swap it bruhh
Jdm uncle ! Loool hahahahaha this is gold
Jdm uncle ! I agree get all that Electric mumbo-jumbo out of their. it's the reason the rich don't even want this car.
Joe Black obd1 harness is for b series loll
Lol don't you mean put a LS motor in it?
Oh hell no
I have seen so much content online about the new NSX that paints it as a failure in many ways, but this video honestly sold me on it.
16:17 "Fucking spectacular"! Matt, this is brilliant! I want one!! 😊
Work hard enough you’ll easily get one, brand new they’re about 150k but they’ve depreciated quite quickly now depending on the mileage you can get one between 100-110k. It’s definitely not cheap but it’s attainable compared to other modern super cars.
What gets me is how easy it looks to drive! Matt was going hella fast and didn't skip a beat or have any sketchy moments
At what speed did you take that corner, at 7:07?
Stephen Stuart very fast lol
Yall trippin
Having driven one on the track, they are awesome. They truly pull from the corner, Matt is correct these cars are very quick. I for one would love to own one.
*NewSportscareXperience*
Cars of the future will be all honeycomb and carbon
Built by low paid bees?
robot bees!
robot nano bees
With unresponsive hologram infotainment and 7 different sport modes that are all too stiff
Andrew Finck
I feel like you're saying that as if it's a bad thing.
Matt's voice is not anything special but I love it. Very recognizable too. I love his videos. He really engages his audience.
The only problem with this 2018 Acura NSX is that all the other cars will get in your way !
Man, this review made me an even bigger fan of yours. Lots of respect to you brother from a random internet human.
Best supercar currently available.
If anyone EVER questioned/bitched about WHY Acura decided to go this route with the NSX...they need to watch the beginning of this video. You couldn't have said this any better, Matt. Good on you!
0:51 BS Farah, not true. LOL It stands for "New Sportscar eXperimental".
BWX woooow congrats!!!!
You save the world dude !!!
Just funny he really really really thought he was right. But- NOPE!
BWX want a cookie?
Sounds like a successful long term project. Never thought I’d be a fan of this car.
I just bought a 2019.
Thank you for slamming the haters on the internet. NSX is amazing no doubt.
Honda should have offered a base version form100k with no hybrid elements. Stick shift, mid engine v6 tt. That would have been received much better and compare to the 911R
You can tell this car is incredibly fast.....I freaking love it.....
Smartasses on the internet be like those stereotype girlfriends:
STI Old Engine = omg old tech, bring on the new engine
NSX New Engine = OMGG New engine, I don't like you anymore you've CHANGED!!!!!!!
Thats why we have so much divorces 😂
THIS CAR IS UNDERRATED! Piriod! I think this car gets hate for the same reason outstanding people do. If someone is REALY an outstanding person, there will be imediatly people who build storys about the person to make him look NOT SO outstanding. Thats the nature of humanity saidly.
I belive all words of the reviewer! This car deserves it! And everyone who says this should be at the pricepoint og a nissan gt3 has no clou how many technical engineering it needs to make such a marvelous "product" like this NSX is.
Love this Car
Great review of my favorite car! I had to watch it twice (for now). A true car guy's review that doesn't waste time on criticizing multimedia, switches, stitching and other irrelevant stuff in this kind of car.
The r35 only wishes it sounded this good
Not Real lmao you’re pretty unintelligent if you think in any way possible that this Acura sounds better than a fucking R35...... but an aftermarket exhaust on both and you still have the same situation.... R35 will always sound better than this overpriced turd on wheels
The R35 sounds way better than this.
Brad Having driven an r35 with a standard exhaust and then the same car with an armytrix exhaust I can honestly say I don't care too much for the sound of it.
Brad Also calling someone unintelligent for having a different opinion to you is narrow minded and childish.
Not Real The Honda sounds pretty bad, the R35’s VR38 is one of the best sounding recent V6s, it doesnt even compare.
I haven't heard anyone give it such a good review. In the group tests no one ever really seemed to think it was that good.
Love the vids, but this one sounded way too sponsored by a particular brand....
A man who really understands the cars he drives. Hats off
Isn't it 'Experimental' not 'Experience'? Someone correct me on this
Ohhdeeds crx the x is definitely experimental, not sure on the nsx.
they changed it
People will always judge shit they dont understand. You really made my day. So happy you got to experience it! My garage has had 2 2010 tl sh awd 6mt. Track Monster. Shawd loves going dast and having grip.such a great sleeper !
400k+ For one of these in Australia.. wth
Rdizz Automotive in countries like yours were cars are so unreasonably expensive, how often do you see nice cars?
I think the launch/pricing was more badly done than the car was.
Rdizz Automotive so bullshit hey
LegendInThaMakin same as the US, you just need to be in a rich area
You always want a lighter car but he has a very valid point.
Great review, the NSX finally gets a review it deserves.
So before you comment some of your bullshit, just know that you, an average joe who's never owned the OG NSX or any supercar, are irrelevant.
shoo finally I’m the top 1% of something.
A doctor does not himself need to have had a disease in order to treat the disease in others.
People can still have valid opinions about value, positive or negative, without being able to buy the car.
Toby Corbin that analogy... mind blown...
It’s overpriced and not worth it. I like the 570s better.
What do you say to Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio? 🙏
