    ALWAYS remove Negative terminal 1st, then Positive when removing to avoid shorting the system out. Then replace Positve 1st and Negative 2nd.👍🏼

    Thank you! That's not easy to do with two hands, let alone one! The light-colored granules around the post are exactly the opposite of laundry detergent-dry sulfuric acid, among other things. They result from corrosion of the lead battery terminal. If you're careful, you can wash them off with water. Some people use baking soda and water, but if the solution gets into the battery cells, it can neutralize the acid inside the battery.

    Thanks! I’ve changed out a lot of batteries. These newer vehicles make it a little more difficult by placing components on top them.

      Yeah they design them so you have to take it to the dealership or a mechanic. It's all a money scheme honestly. That's why I make these videos, to help some one out by saving them outrageous prices for fixing their cars. Good luck brother 💪

    Can u use a screw gun? I don't have a drill or impact drill. I have hand tools and a screw gun. And lots of bits. Very new to this 😂. My dad has always been my mechanic but he's too old now so I gotta figure it out.

      Use the hand tools, it would be safer and that way you dont risk damaging anything...take your time and you should be okay

    What were you talking about with grounding and how its dangerous?

    • @559powerscape
      @559powerscape  3 роки тому +1

      Because I couldn't get the negative terminal off and trying to loosen up the Positive side. I could create sparks if I touch both with the tool at the same time
