@@gumloproductionsdeccan empire, give all your family members kingdom titles, use the mines and high dev to play tall with it to get your languages grandeur raised, and possibly diplomacy to try and vassalize outside of deccan (you never said you can't expand peacefully)
Evangelize to the Realm makes converting all of Africa trivial now. Also there are vassal directives now, so you can demand conversion then direct them to convert their land.
The hardest part of this isn't the conquering. It's being able to convert everything in time. Taking any kind of syncretism makes the achievement almost impossible.
I did this on console, and kept Daura as my capital the whole run. It was the last one I needed for the plat and it took me 3 serious attempts to finish.
I'm going for this one now, my strategy was to make a mad rush to Egypt and hybridise cultures with them to take all their innovations + limit my culture to a controlled area. After that I moved my personal holdings entirely to the Nile and developed my cultural lands as fast as possible. I had all the early medieval innovations before most of subsaharan africa was even in early medieval. Currently have like 60-70% of Africa conquered and converted at 1090 or something. I haven't tried administrative because I don't fully understand how it works and feudal is the devil I know (I don't feudal, but I was worried temporarily converting to islam so I could make a clan government would break the achievement lol). I honestly found Rise of Ghurids harder (so far), but that was mainly because I went for the Iranian Resurgence ending to the struggle in the same run.
At launch if you quit the game and loaded a save as a heir of Daurama Daura it would invalidate the achievement, since 'starting as x' flags checked on load, not on start of the game - so in that sense it was definitely more difficult! :)
Did this a long time ago, but I remember i didnt do this in the first try because Egypt was developed so much i couldn’t convert it. For sure is most/the second one hardest achievement in this game.
Curious to see how you got it because i got it not too long ago and apart from just the time it took I didn't find it too difficult, but I wonder if we just had different strategies (will reply with my strategies if they are different)
Yeah ok so big difference number 1. I became an adventurer and just went and conquered those gold mines in mali while also converting to the local religion.
I mean its not hard just takes a long time. Honestly I’ve not been able to be botherd to play for more than 300 orso years on any campaign. And i’ve over 2000 hours in the game so its not a skill issue or lack of enjoyment in the game 😂
Happy Holidays 🎄❤
Merry Christmas🎄
@omegalol and to you!
This is ABSOLUTELY the hardest achievement in the game, whether or not its as hard as it used to be. As an obsessive CK3 achievement hunter hahaha
Here’s a challenge: get the Lingua Franca achievement while only conquering up to one de jure empire’s borders
@@gumloproductions that's just the suffering mode of potion crafter
Nah unify slavia is harder
@@calebsutton6798 lll admit ive never gone for this one. But ive failed at mother of africa a lot of times lol

Yeah it really does
So LoD basically takes the difficulty out of religious management
@@benzelmer8111 it was never hard, just insanely tedious and boring and took a long time.
"End of Era" is still the hardest for me
Maybe i'll check that next
"a drunken dwarf party animal" now where have I seen that medieval character

Doing this in console sounds like a pain lol.

Holy legends made this achievement way faster with the 'Evangelize the Realm' decision
Yeah absolutely
Harders but most fun achievement
A wee Christmas present from the Midgeman, what a treat 😮 🎁
Happy crimbo gamer!
The dead inside moment also is a particular highlight 😂
I lived it
Tough challange, but good work Midge!

Oh I remember that! Ironman saves were busted for agessss

What is the background music at 1:00 and 2:26? Great video as always
It's by an artist called Deskant on epidemic sound; everything bar the intro and like... One other song is his

I feel like its not as difficult anymore
The new conquer trait screwed me out of this achievement last time I tried the achievement
Oh no how'd that happen?
@Midgeman 3 conquers spawned in Africa, I was just slowly whittled down with constant wars between them

Thats a neat strat, but I wanted to try and do this semi-traditionally conquest wise
