Hi Dillan, thank you for the video. I have a question, is there supposed to be a small seep hole in case of moisture of any type collects in the drop offs....so it doesn't collect and cause any rusting over time. Thank you
Hello there! So as far as I know, 1969 Camaros did not have a drain port in the lower part of the drop off panel. Though I do know what you're talking about and have seen them on a 1970 Camaro usually filled in with a small circular rubber plug. I have seen people cut a hole there for draining purposes, as well as getting lost objects but from factory I don't think this year had them. Though strange enough, a 1969 Chevelle did have the little ports. So not sure why a 1969 Camaro didn't get those especially since they are so prone to hold water there. I will try and post an update video soon on the vehicle, just been super busy with life as of lately! Thanks for reaching out!
Hello. First I would like to thank you for your videos, your doing a great job on the Camaro. I’m in the process of doing my 69 as we speak. I have a question in regards of the trunk drop offs. When the drop off is mounted and the quarter panel is on how much of a gap do you have from the top of the drop off to the quarter panel? I know there is gap because stuff feel in those gaps over the years. I never seen pictures or videos of that gap. I did see a video of someone installing the drop off with the gap being very small to the quarter panel but if I try to do that with mine the drop off and the trunk panel would have to be almost butt welded. I would appreciate you help thank you.
Hello Hheidrick, Thank you for the support! I will take a measurement and let you know, off memory its about an inch or two. Ive already dropped bolts down there and had to fish them out with a magnet. On my drivers side drop off, I actually had to trim back the trunk floor metal to get it to sit far enough in that it wassnt hitting the quarter panel. So you might have to do some trimming and fitting to get the right fit. I will let you know soon on what the actual measurements are!
Hello again hheidrick, I measured the other day and it was roughly 1 and a quarter inches wide on each side. Not exact per side but very close. Personally Im going to add a foam noodle or something to keep stuff from falling down in there because if its not magnetic its likely trapped for life lol. Hope that helps!
Hey there Lopez, The car is on hold for a little while until it warms up enough to spray some feather fill! Do have an update video coming out soon. Thanks for checking in!
@@DillanFisher I’m sorry I hope I didn’t bother you I’ve already messaged you before and you told me the same thing I guess I just forgot I had already spoke with you thank you for the reply maybe will talk later thanks
Sadly not for hire, but In the future may be planning to do other peoples cars. At the moment have way too much going on to accept anymore projects! Stay tuned!
Your giving me inspiration to start my 68
I actually had these panels laying around. My bodyman mut of ask me to order them and I wanted to know what they were for. Great video.

What brand weld threw primer do you use, and is a zinc primer better ?

Hi Dillan, where did you get the rolling skates? Thanks Dan
Hello Dan, they are pinch weld rollers from OTC. The Part number for them is " OTC Tools 1572 " Summit racing has them aswell as amazon.
How’s the Camaro coming along Dillan?
