  • Are you looking for perennials that are easy to care for? Let me give you 15 EASY perennials to grow & divide that I have in My Carolina Garden. I am a HUGE fan of perennials that don't require a lot of work, AND that can grow in such a way that I can divide them, and use them in different parts of my landscape.
These 15 easy perennials to grow are also ones you can divide without my muscle involved. Did you know many plants actually benefit from division? You'll see examples of that here as well!
My name is Nicole Roggeman and My Carolina Garden is in coastal North Carolina in zone 8. As a zone 8 gardener, I'm aware that not all of what is perennial for me will be perennial for everyone. But that's why we do research in to the plants we love.
For more gardening tips and to see how My Carolina Garden expands, please stick with me!

Your garden is impressive as always. That red coneflower is a beauty. I have a question about mums:if they bloom in summer, will they bloom in fall too?

Yes, at least mine do. It surprises me when they bloom in the summer every single time. Thank you for your message! 🙂
