Hello! I am new to your channel. Your flower beds are Absolutely Beautiful. I love all of your flowers . I love Gardening. Thank you for letting us visit you for awhile and I enjoyed every minute of it. Can't wait to see what is next. So until next time God Bless you and your family and have a Blessed Monday and stay safe my dear and Special Friend.
I’m so glad you mentioned pest control at the end. I moved into Zone 8a a year and a half ago, so your videos are very a helpful learning tool to me! I not only wanted to ask you about pest control, but also ask if you about watering (by hand or irrigation). Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Hi there! Yes, my two biggest pests are Japanese Beetles and Aphids. UGH! Aphids have been particularly annoying on my Hibiscus and Crape Myrtle trees. I have tried things like Neem oil and dawn dish soap and water, as well as just hosing down the plants when I see issues with Aphids. All of those have worked; the trick for those bugs is to catch them before they fully infest. As for the beetles, I use Seven dust to treat and that also works for me. Of course I'll also catch them and squish them if there aren't many 😅 Sadly I don't have irrigation, but wish I did!
Hi Nicole, i’ Playing catch-up on your videos, watching from Barbados and like you my garden is full sun except for a small east facing section, getting lots of ideas which plants I can use. Hopefully one day my garden will look even half as beautiful as yours. Enjoyed this video as always.
Nice Presentation, I really would like to have A berry awesome hibiscus, twice I ordered it and twice it died, reminds me I have the return cheque from the company, have to look for it 😊
I just watched a video about starting canvas from seed. He said scarify the seed with some sandpaper by holding it with plyers and rubbing it on the sandpaper untill you’ve a white spot. Then put the seeds into a cup of water and leave them untill you see a root tail sticking out. Then you can start them in a little pot. I did that last year with lupines and I had almost 100% germination
Thank you so much! This is my first year having it, but I do plan to bring it inside for winter. It's said to be hardy in zones 9-11, and I'm in 8A, so I won't chance it this year. Next year though, when I feel the roots are more established (and I'm more lazy 😁) I'll likely leave it out, covered with a frost blanket and see what happens.
I have 30 garden at memorial Park in New Kensington PA and I've been doing it for years now and my favorite is the peony which I don't know if you guys can grow it down there the utopian my phone keeps going off sorry about that but yeah you can go itoh peony horse out there is a mixture between your tree peony in your regular pay any but they're beautiful they don't fall down like you're going to do and they're just stronger maybe give those they can cost a little more though find me later talk to you later thank you
I have a very hard time growing Peonies. It's very disappointing. I use to live in NY and could grow them easily. Love them though! Thanks for your comment!
I let them be for the first couple of years after I get a new baby, then I trim off the limbs I don't want in the early spring. I have a mix of a couple that I trimmed to have one main trunk, and another with multiple large trunks growing vertically. I also always cut off the little "suckers" (new growth at the base, but still attached to the trunk) all throughout the year. Hope this helps!
Thank you for Sharing beautiful garden lovely

Wisconsin here. Zone 5 b
So glad you reached out from Wisconsin!! 💞
Do your tiger lilies have black seeds on them and can you plant those seeds for more plants?
Yes and yes! I don't take the seeds off, personally, but they drop all over and make babies on their own 😁
How do you shape your crepe myrtels???? when they pop up?
I let them be for the first couple of years after I get a new baby, then I trim off the limbs I don't want in the early spring.
