No tattoos, no crazy outfits, no lbs. of jewelry, no 5 inch finger nails, just a beautiful voice and incredible stage presence. God, I miss those days. Pure class.
Well, these massive hoopy earrings could weigh some pounds ...but I guess they're not actually gold, otherwise her ears would touch the shoulders.
Yeah man.
So agree whith you.
Zgadzam się, klasa kobiecości w najwyższym wydaniu, ale to poza tematem, sens jest inny: Królowa, reszta może sobie tylko pomarzyć,
Now we have performers named after Barcadi and Stallion horses. Signing about wet female genitalia.
She's not even trying hard, she's just naturally superb!
totally agree
I love you 😂🎉
she's clearly put in the work though
Es perfecta en todo
Now that’s what I call pure smooth jazz!
There is no comparison. Sade is simply one of the best singers of all time.
Agree
Joke?
Sorry not being cheeky. How would you compare her to Whitney Houston
you have to admit tho she has one of the most subtle unique voices of all time. she sings certain tone that can't be repeated. she is amazing...
Lol I adore Sade but she’s def not one of the best singers out there, especially live!
Sade was 26 years old here. She will be 60 next month and still just as talented and gorgeous!
Queen!
Perry Ball 🌹❤️
Time really does fly. It's just a ride.
Always the best band, never a throwaway, rushed album! Just think 1985, "Diamond Life" & "Promise" completed, next albums up would be "Stronger Than Pride" then "Love Deluxe", "Lover's Rock" and "Soldier Of Love"... All stunning collections...
A lot of people are alive because of her music
This is such a beautiful version from Live Aid ive watched it over and over 100s of times, 1 thing that always blows me away is how the saxophone player uses his mic for not only the sax but as his vocal mic for BVs , that to me is a humble musician , as for Sade well need i say any more......still watching in 2024
What a fantastic period for music & freedom.....it's all over now but i'm so glad I was part of it.
Remember 1980s. Period. 😎😎😪😪
Can you believe tis is from 40 years ago? Love her smooth voice and the sax. 😎
I went to school with her in Essex.she was the most beautiful person ever.ive just recently made contact with her again after all these years.were gonna meet up 😊
@@davejenkins669You were/are a Blessed man sir. Hope she and you are saved/born again, so you both make it to Heaven. 🤔😯😊😎
Нет не верю , это есть и сегодня , привет из Сочи
Class ,elegance and beauty.... the pure essence of it all...❤
An absolutely breathtaking performance! She sounds better live than many sound in a studio.
I actually seen her in CONCERT IN AUSTIN TEX 1993 it was first concert in my life and the last one 🎉because I didn’t want to see. another concert in my lifetime because it was just that GOOD audience wouldn’t let her LEAVE she had to sing two songs a experience that I will cherish forever
@@1987whitezI went to school with her in England she was beautiful person
Absolutely.
True.
@davejenkins669 WOW! 🤯 You"re llucky!
I been married to this beautiful woman since I was 7.
I suppose you should know she's been cheating on you. With me 😊
She is the epitome of class & beauty. What a lucky crowd
Look at the drummers face as the crowd first roars at the begining of the song...he's so happy. :D
they we're very lucky, some of the greatest uk bands ever were on show that day
80’s Rule!!!
Why because I was in the Marine in 85. Living with 25 Marines w/25 boom boxes. All types of music was played in the barracks at very loud levels. What I found funny that the metal heads, hair bands, new wave(me), county, rock & roll, soul, R&B and even punk Marines all knew the words to Sade’s music. That’s why IMO 80’s ruled. We all knew everybody’s music.
This is true live folks! She and her band are the bomb! She ruled the 80,s!
I love Sade. She never tried to do anything but her thing.
She was in a group called Pride before this.
Sade is geweldig en mooi
" Word." said daniel...
Yes you said it
Why would she? She is great. Her bands are also great. Seems to be a few different ones but they are all good.
Fun fact: Sade is the most successful UK female artist of all time...I love her to bits.
Did she thank me for helping her become that NO typical Megan Markel spoilt brat approach to life
Not just in the UK , in the World , and for my opignon still the best femal Artist ever !!!!!

Isn't that Adele?
I cant help but to weep when I hear her beautiful music. A grown man. It holds a special place in my heart from a time long gone.
What a Beautyfull women!!! Jesus Christ!!!
Imagine you are 26 years old and sing in front of 72.000 people and much more around the world.. and she does perform smoothly.
Impressive crowd..😨😨😨
Can the world ever get back to times like this? I doubt very much with the present covid pandemic.
@Steve Miller what should the response be @Steve Miller
@Steve Miller you are sure right, but when it comes to the issue of life & death, it becomes a tough decision to make. The cases of Brazil and India are cases that prove that we have to tread cautiously, it's btw economics and human lives. That's why some countries are spending huge money to reflate the economy and bring people out of poverty, get industries working, improve consumption and get money in circulation.
@Steve Miller so you are a rebellious goat? I can see you enjoy the fantasies of your conspiracy theory. Just keep safe or else you become a victim of the pandemic. If you have seen people who were victims you will come down from false and self deceptive horse, face reality man.
Beautiful radiant clear skin , she wanted to be a fashion designer and she is, her art is even larger with a beautiful voice. Sade also mentioned she likes to wear simple clothes and just be a human being.👍
Still great in 2024!!!
Beautiful Song All Her Songs are So Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️
An amazing voice, drop dead gorgeous and great performer. 38 years later her performance at Live Aid still stands as one of the best live performances I've seen.
Yes. When people cared 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

This is what you call a classy artist ❤🌺🙏🎊🎉
❤❤Sade is untouchable.She is a phenomenal artist.
Pure talent!! Today's singers cannot compete. Flawless vocals...the way that Saxophone follows her vocals...IMPRESSIVE. Today's music...sucks, no passion to the 'craft'.
MfG 🖖🇩🇪🖖
Absolutely one classy woman. Her eyes are captivating. Her movements on stage are enticing. She’s the total package.
She has this liquid gold voice
Sade was a triple threat. She's got an iconic voice, and she's as beautiful inside as she is out. Definitely destined to be a star, and that she is. 🙏🏼💖
@@TheXmabax Triple threat is complimentary and means she was a formidable contender for others in her genre at the time. She had/has inside and outside beauty, that's two of the 'threats,' along with an iconic voice that makes three or triple threats. It's a common term used for those who warrant such an accolade. Sade is one of those special folks, probably forever. Peace!!
was?
Back when live singers sounded the same as studio version
YES!!!!!😊
Yeah...definitely.
Llllama Gggglama thats what i try to say to boomers
Actually she couldn't sing for toffee live

Sade is so beautiful that i named my daughter Sade Violet Alexander after her!
@Paul 87 Thank you Paul!
That’s so sweet! I bet people already assume she’s named after Sade Adu lol ❤️❤️❤️
Except her name is Helen abu
nickacelvn but everyone knows her as sade 🙆🏽♀️
nickacelvn Her full name is Helen Folasade Adu. She was born in Nigeria and people have been calling her Folashade since that time. Nobody call her Helen. When you have long name in Nigeria, you can decide to go for the Prefix or Suffix to make life easier for people to pronounce ur name. You can call her Fola or Sade. She preferred the suffix.
So smooth, elegant, cute, fresh looking and classy. I love you sade! Your voice is like honey immersed with liquid gold. 1985.....new wave era. I was 15 that time.
Her voice just send me to another world. I love punk and industrial, but Sade sits right next to them in my library.
I love Sade. Her voice, beauty & style is so timeless and captivating.
She is a pure babe love here 💗💕
She is still pure and natural. Unique..
Very unique and distinct voice, that's Sade (pronounced shar'dáe). She's the true 1980s Gem. She's simply a gorgeous lovely lady living the Diamond Life ... This happens to be one of my favorite Sade songs 👍♥️♥️♥️🥰😍
This is woman is pure class.
She is the Queen of the music d:)
She brings peace in a evil twisted world
I love saxophones
masterclass in how to make an entire audience fall in love
This woman is fantastic, no female in today's music industry has this glamor, grace, talent.
Maybe Alicia keys in the top of her days ? But Sade is amazing I agree
❤️
She’s totally in her own lane. She’s unreal.💯
Period!
what about Spice Girls?
Just the coolest singer of her generation no one even comes close
Just golden sax and golden voice on the stage))) Thats all we need for happiness)))

She held a stadium of 72,000 people at full attention with her soothing voice.
No need to ask shes a smooth operator.
@@minerprolol9050 …walked right into that one! 😂
She’s such a breath of fresh air ❤ so talented smooth as silk
Probably the greatest (and most eighties) moment in the whole of the eighties. Sade, Live Aid, this song, the saxophone, the earrings. No problem singing to 72,000 people with a song you'd expect to hear in a smoky club. I remember first seeing her singing this and I couldn't believe that anyone could be that beautiful.
this version is better tha study cd , awesome my Sade
Its just pure class in all ways possible. Charisma, voice, effortlessness of being that cute, making all of those people so quiet excatly when they should be and ecstatic few seconds later. It is priceless.
A beautiful woman.
There is only one way I can
Adequately thank this woman
For using her music to get me
Through the worst part of my life.
Was 24 in '85, I thought the 70's was a great music decade only to be matched by the 80's♥️😁
How to bring a jazz club feeling in a full stadium. What a performance.
Sade and Simply Red put class into the 80s music scene.
A new flame by simply red is certainly a all killer no filler album
100% agree. If I had to choose 2 bands in my life: Simply Red and Sade
Class act
For me it Sade and Culture Club....followed by Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Exposé, George Michaels, Simply Red, Human League, Level 42, The System, Deja, Rhonda Clark, Public Enemy, De La Soul, Eric B and Rakim.... clearly its too many to name... The 80 ruled!!!!
Oh my goodness Sade is exquisite, this entire outfit could be worn today! . One of my most favourite songs ever and such class. Can’t get over how beautiful she is.
Exquisite is a fitting term
Just loved the joyous smile from the drummer when the crowd cheered. This was an occasion; a celebration.
Her beauty was nothing short of DRAW DROPPING.
And as many other people have already pointed out she really DOES have a singing voice of pure SILK!!
Sade was cool as fuck. I was only 9 years old at the time but remember the live aid event well. But it's only when your older do you appreciate how good these 80s songs are. The music of my childhood, a time the only worry was how much fun are we having today... Take me back!
never again will the universe be this blessed. three cheers sade
A GREAT GREAT SINGER, DROP DEAD GORGEOUS. A TRUE GODDESS
I really like the 'thank you' as part of the ending of the song. Such professionalism. Class.
This is what you call a "stage presence." Effortless and captures everyone's attention.
It helps that she is gorgeous and talented.
Sade how good duet you and george both 2 amazing singers what a song that would have been
No phones, they just lived in the moment 🙃
Jam Packed Concert Sade Is Dope 👍🆒🆒🆒🆒
thanks for giving me love Juliet Nail, wherever you are.
just a breath of fresh air…timeless song
She allows me to dream of softer days🥰
She really won in life.
I was freshly graduated from high school.
It was a HOT summer weekend and my buds and I hung at the apartment pool drinking beer.
I had the entire schedule written on a piece of paper.
We went swimming, drank beer……….HEY MAN 15 MINUTES UNTIL U2!
Walk back to the apt. Roll a joint. Enjoy a show. Rinse and repeat!
HEY MAN QUEENS ON AT 3:30!
COME ON MAN, PHIL COLLINS JUST STARTED!
It was a MAGICAL weekend !
You sensed it. You knew what you were watching was rare!
What a great great time!
before my time but OMG what a voice and band! The camerawork is also impeccable. A masterpiece!
This woman is pure class and grace
I was 15 when this happened. Think about it: this was the music that 15 year-olds also listened to…along with Motley Crue, LL Cool J, Ready For The World, The Police, Madonna, Ozzy, Lionel Richie, Devo, Sheena Easton, Slayer, Michael Jackson, U2, Kool & The Gang, Beastie Boys, Van Halen, B-52s, Joan Jett, Prince, Heart, etc…no wonder those were were such good times! Great Music that brought everyone together. Miss those days so much. 🥲❤️🎶
this woman is a fantasy's fantasy
Talented. Breath-takingly beautiful. Perfect woman.
And a dream within a dream!!!
Your fantasy my worst nightmare lol
Amen.

She's always been effortlessly cool. Everyone wants to talk about how great Queen was at Live Aid, but people forget about how Sade absolutely smoked her set.
this was a historic concert event - I'm so happy to have had the chance to experience it. Sade was awesome but everyone was waiting for Duran Duran and Madonna
No technology...her voice, period!!!
I remember this watching Sade on TV at Live Aid. Sade's (+band) live performances was imprinted in my memory. She was mesmerising, so charismatic and her aura is like no other.
Pure class, pure voice.

This woman stole my heart from the first time I saw and listened to her.
Music of a better time. It just makes you feel like that. I get nostalgic to a time I haven't experienced.
But man life was clean and nice before mobilephones and internet
she is the most beautiful woman.. right after my mom
It’s so cute what you ve said
Well said!
Hi Michael!
Jeon Jungkook ah you're just saying that!
That’s exactly right.
Love the fact that the crowd went crazy when she simply took her jacket off and she was still wearing a turtle neck blouse covering most of her upper body. Today some female artist wear so little and do some outrageous things to try to get even a portion of the recognition. She's always set a good example for girls. Very elegant.
both ways are good examples.
Girls don't need good examples of modesty. We need to be left alone and for people to stop policing our bodies.
It was pretty see through and she wasn’t wearing a bra. That is why the cameras stay above her boobs for closeups once the jacket comes off.
You'll actually find it's EXPECTED and REQUIRED for female artists to do that to get a glimpse into the industry. Male artists aren't expected too - it's a standard set for female artists. Damned they do, damned if they don't.
@@ladypip1983 Don't lie to me. When you wear bootie shorts and revealing tops, you're never wearing that for you... you're wearing that for us. Girls need good examples of modesty. It's the only way men and women of value are going to respect your bodies.
OMG it's 2023 . Such a beautiful person and soul. Brings back a lot of memories.
Voice is a beauy sends you to another world 57 n still love it
She's one of the most stylish and straight bewitching artist I've ever seen. Such class and such groove. Diva of love
Extremely Super Stardom all over the WORLD! She is an ANGEL spreading LOVE. God Bless SADE.
Her voice is so soothing. It’s like a cats purr
Gosh, she is talented. I wish she still made hit songs.
The smile on the drummer’s face when the crowd first roared...😃❤️ Love Sade! This one is my favorite from the band!
Pure class, pure elegance and a voice of velvet. She is the best.
Wow she's so beautiful and classy.

Favorite singer, beautiful lyrics, no gimmicks. Tight band. Made my day 💖
I still remember watching this on tv on that day in 1985. No World Wide Web, no Google, no Facebook, no UA-cam, none of that crap. Just pure entertainment of the highest calibre. Yes, I know I’m watching it on UA-cam now….
Beautiful. Elegant. This is what a real Star looks like.
1984. Diamond Life came out. Being 16 years old, I wasn't supposed to like these smooth tunes. Doesn't sit well with your mates, right? Yet it was the second album I ever bought on CD, which was also just introduced. Loved it and still do. I play it to this day.
