It's right up there among his best pitch meetings. I highly recommend that one, as well as his pitch meetings for the Star Wars Holiday Special, Sharknado, Howard the Duck, Moonfall, IT (2017), and Wonder Woman 1984.
I like how Ryan slightly overlaps the audio tracks to give the illusion of two people talking. There's never an abrupt transition between writer guy and producer guy. He's got some editing skills.
I had never considered “Ryan George” reaction content as content I desperately needed but here I am so pretty much please give me more Ryan George reaction content and I’ll be here with bells on
Your reaction to the chocolate factory episode made me think you would really like another one. There is a video about Snowpiercer being a sequel to Willy Wonka. It is very strange, but somewhat convincing. Definitely worth watching!
Ok Nat hear me out!... Please keep doing this kind of reactions. I truly enjoy hearing you LOL, specially when you cant control it. It has such a sweet, positive, energy, that reminds of Monsters INC when they discover that laughter can create huge amounts of energy, your beautiful wide smile with the LOL sounds you make is soup for the soul!!.
Thank you for making me laugh, this was a fun watch! You should absolutely watch Ryan George’s Twilight pitch meeting compilation. Also more pitch meetings for movies/shows you’ve already seen please!
These Pitch Meetings are all awesome, especially the Squid Games one! Another channel to consider is How It Should Have Ended (HISHE). It's basically animated versions of superhero movies with Superman and Batman drinking coffee at a diner discussing the movie's plot holes with the hero. The channel has also been around since 2007.
I love watching Ryan shred all my favorite movies and shows, he always nails it! Keep em comin, Nat, these are fun, maybe check out his LOTR videos they're great!
If you're wondering about the kids' fates in the Roald Dahl book: Augustus got boiled alive and came out of the pipe extremely slim, Violet was stuck with violet skin for life, Mike was stretched out to be 10 feet tall and paper-thin, and Veruca became smelly.
I actually thought Squid Game was connected to Playstation when I first saw the masks 😂 Your re-enactment of the Willy Wonka tunnel scene was even more terrifying than the movie Nat 😊 Grandpa Joe is a fraud. How did he get out of bed to buy Charlie a chocolate bar?? ha ha 😂 Thanks for another fun video Nat. Your laughter always brightens my day 💛
Ryan George is amazing. You should look up Pete Holmes Badman too! It's a series of skits which parody the Chris Nolan batman films, they're fricken hilarious IMO.
Just discovered pitch meetings about a year ago, so probably about 2 months ahead of you on your first video, absolutely love that man and his pitch meeting series and he has own channel, where he has another series called first guy to... First guy to ever rob a bank, first guy to ever own a home and my favorite first guy to own a cat. Ryan George did such a wonderful concept of explaining what a cat is and how it treats people and their stuff, the man is very creative!
You should definitely check out the Twilight movie pitch meetings ... they are some of the best (especially the last one) - guarantee that you'll be laughing at it.
Yes, Ryan George IS a treasure. For something a bit different, I recommend Bad Lip Reading, otherwise known as BLR. The most popular one is "Seagulls!" and uses the Dagobah footage in "The Empire Strikes Back." I'm also fond of "Hostiles on the Hill," a tribute to the battle on Hoth, also from "Strikes." A good song which pokes fun at "Star Wars" in general is "Not the Future." Finally, though I don't care much about the latest "A Star is Born" one way or the other, I recommend "Chocolate Lagoon," a weird take on the song "Shallows." BLR is evidently all one guy with a lot of technology and talent, and I salute him.
Let us also not forget, grandpa Joe was willing to get back at Wonka by selling the Gobstopper to Wonka's competitor, even though Grampa Joe was the instigator for the fizzy drink violation.
But he only did it because of Charlie. He said Charlie gets nothing and grandpa joe thought it was he was a total asshole to do this to a little boy. When he said Charlie gets nothing and all that he said I quote, “ you’re a crock, you’re a cheat and a swindler how could you do this build up a little boys hopes and then smash all his dreams to pieces. You’re an inhuman monster.”
@@scarletwarlock3261 From the beginning, I am blaming the adult. Had Joe stopped them both from breaking the rules, Willy would have never had to go off. In the end Charlie was a better adult than Joe.
You gotta do the Twilight pitch meetings! The 20 minute video is just a compilation of the 4 5 minute videos, so it should be a good one to do for another video like this!
The pausing after each joke is just too cute. Also, if you want a silly random nonsense video: Ketchup Robots. Only a few videos, each less than a minute, but my God, they're some of the funniest videos I've ever seen.
Hey Nat, I highly recommend watching the Honest Trailers on YT. Very similar to Pitch Meetings, and extremely funny. Especially the Disney cartoon ones.
I would suggest watching "History of the Entire World, I Guess", and "History of Japan", by Bill Wurtz, if you want to branch out and do some non-movie things. They're a few years older, '16, and '17, but I've seen people react to them as recently as last year. They're pretty funny, and quite entertaining, and informative. (And they both have massive amounts of views)
13:58 yeah, Tobey might seem different from the other Peters, but while Spidey mostly used web shooters, there have been some instances in the comics where Peter had organic webs like Tobey
I would love if you reacted to The Great on Hulu because it has no one reacting to it despite the acclaim. It is hilarious and dark and often challenging. Its a powerful female lead, and is a mix between game of thrones and modern slap stick comedies. highly recommend.
**After** watching Spider-Man 2 and 3, you gotta do the Bully Maguire memes! "Bully Maguire kills the Winter Soldier" and "Bully Maguire in the No Way Home Official Trailer" by Mork, "Bully Maguire in Avengers: Infinity War" and "Spider-Man trilogy but everyone's horny" by The Human Spider. Honestly, you should make that a dedicated video. There are so many great Bully Maguire memes out there.
Would be great to see your reaction to Olan Rogers. He's an amazing story teller & they're so funny as well as his telling them. Recommend 2 videos to start you off; "The Comeback Kid" & "Ghost in the Stalls". All of his stories are hilarious tho!
gee. i remember back in the day, they really used to put golden tickets in chocolates just like in the movie. i used to buy a butt ton of chocolate just to find the tickets. lol. good times.
Squid Game was good, I just wish I hadn't pegged the old guy since episode 1. :D From the moment we first saw him, he was acting like he knew what he was doing, while everyone else was disoriented. He had the first number while the protagonist had the last, so symbolically this was clearly meaningful, also it means he was the first one out of everybody to join this round of games. The number being the opposite of the protagonist was a clear symbol that he was the antagonist, but I didn't notice that. At first I thought he was the winner of the previous (or many previous) games and was here knowingly and willingly, but in the night brawl scene, when he was the one to stand aside from everything and then call for the end of the chaos, I realized he had to be running the whole operation. After that, in the marble game, all I could see were the ways they were making us think he died, while very very uncharacteristically not showing it to us. (The guy even gasps as he's "shot in the head", something no one else in the show does, nor would it make sense in real life.)
I always thought that about the webs too! Because I saw Tobey first as a kid. Plus it just seems like the most spidery thing so when Tom Holland was making them I was like whaaat 🤣🤣
14:06 It is and it's not. Stan Lee wrote him with web shooters, cause it's a good plot device (villain is about to escape, "Oh no! No more webs.", villain gets away so we can have a second fight later), but then did give him organic web in like 2006. But then One More Day (A.K.A the worst Spider-Man story since Clone Saga) happened and he's back to mechanical web.
Ryan’s Pitch Meetings are awesome. Love these. If you are looking for something different but still entertaining I suggest Oversimplified and his videos on history. I know a lot of other creators have reacted to them, but that’s because they are so ridiculously good. Would be interesting to get your take on these.
Nat: "He's got one for willy wonka and the chocolate factory, and I really wanna watch that." Me: "Oh you're gonna like this." Nat: ".. because III *love* willy wonka" Me: "Oh you're not gonna like this."

Please watch the Howard the Duck pitch meeting and the Super Mario Brothers pitch meeting. These movies are so weird by today’s standards and it makes the pitch meetings hilarious! Also, not sure of you edited for copyright issues, but screenrant seems very cool with people reacting to their content :)
You HAVE to watch the Twilight pitch meetings. It is absolutely hilarious!!
Yes, please!
Never seen twilight but I would love to watch this. Nat has the best laugh.
yes they are the best
It's right up there among his best pitch meetings. I highly recommend that one, as well as his pitch meetings for the Star Wars Holiday Special, Sharknado, Howard the Duck, Moonfall, IT (2017), and Wonder Woman 1984.

You should definitely do the Julie Nolke series of "Explaining the Pandemic to my past self". It'll make you laugh cry if you haven't seen it already.
I love these videos! - Looks like you really quickly forgot the whole "try not to laugh" thing xD
It's fun watching Natalie play "Try to Laugh." She's good at it

“This guy that he’s always pitching too has issues” Well Screenwriter guy can’t go near Schools and Playgrounds so I’d say they’re equally weird
