When sleeping on your side make sure your top leg doesn't cross over/in front of your bottom leg. Also, you may want to try push ups or some type of chest exercise. I had chronic upper back and neck pain for years due to sitting hunched over a drawing desk for long hours. My shoulders needed to be trained backwards. Hope you find something to help! Also, fly eagles, fly!!

I used to have severe back and neck pain few years ago. Heat therapy really worked for me. Stretching too much made it worse, I started with very light exercises recommended by my physiotherapist. Then I got diagnosed with an autoimmune disease which was the underlying condition that caused the back pains itself, once I got treated for that the back pain slowly started going away. I hope you find some good doctors who can find what's causing the pain because that's the most important part. Human spine is a design disaster anyways. You can find enough videos explaining why. P.S: When looking for doctors, go for very investigative ones, because if your doctors don't wanna ask you questions or don't wanna listen to your complaints, they aren't likely gonna solve your problem. I wasted plenty of time with a few of those doctors. And while having the pain, the best thing you can do is remain calm and try simple things like heating or applying pain killers, because we tend to overwork our muscles trying to fix them. In my case, the constant anxiety even made the pain worse. I know it can be very scary not knowing what to do and feeling like nothing is gonna solve it, but there's always a solution and you will eventually find it. Spend more time to understand what triggers your pain than trying to fix it with some instant magical solution.
