You earned my like with those quality puns 😂
I'll let my wife know that at least someone enjoys them! Thanks! :D
The Riverine seems so cool! Love the flavor of it. What if you made a little quest where a town is being beleaguered by an angry Riverine. The villagers beg the party to kill it and save them from ruin. But when the party fights the Riverine, it tells them about how the villagers pollute the river and have incurred it's wrath. Time to choose!
Love this idea!! And, with limited knowledge of that specific adventure in Radiant Citadel, I wonder if that's how the story plays out for that adventure haha.
@@ConstructedChaos ohhh, right! Now I'm more excited to see this adventure haha
@@chrisforbus9794 Haha Maybe we'll play through some of them on the channel too! We should have some open streaming nights coming up as our homebrew campaign comes to an end!
I hadn't had time to look through Radiant citadel yet to see the new monsters so thanks for the video!
Haha happy to be of service!!
you've got to HAND it to the soul shaker? aren't you full of puns today... lol
I am what my father made me lmao
The amazing additions require me to get this immediately
It's well worth a purchase for sure! This is probably the first adventure book I may consider running. I usually just do homebrew but this is so flavorful and easy to deploy!
@@ConstructedChaos honestly same here and I love the way they made "space" so that anyone can experience it without crazy physics-based degrees.
They did the Aurumvorax dirty.
You think so? What would you have done differently?
Aurum’Vorax’s have great lore behind them, and their golden fur is heavily sought after by hunters, being capable of being made into strong Armoured Cloaks
Dwarves might even try to kill a den mother and raise the young in captivity, this way they can use the creature’s unique ability to seek out precious metals veins hidden deep within mines
Oh nice!! I knew their golden color comes from their appetite for gold but I didn't know about them being hunted for it!
@@ConstructedChaos you can find more lore on Aurumvorax in dd2 monters manual.
Back in the days monster manuals were pretty talkative and full of lore. ^^
@@InternetMadnez Yeah, I've heard from WOTC themselves that they actively try not to "burden" their sourcebooks with too much lore nowadays. I find that sad but I can understand it from the perspective of a company hoping to appeal to more casual players.
It'd be great to see some adventure breakdowns!
Duly noted!!
Does your team have any sponsorship options? We would love a way to get in contact.
Hey!! You can reach me at constructedchaosdnd@gmail.com or via our discord! I’d love to work with y’all and look forward to hearing from you!
Hello there!
General Kenobi!
Nice. Great info and jokes i guess... especially on the soul shaker. My fave is the Riverine. I always like using enemies with legendary resistances. Lair actions are interesting too, I like sending multiple of these types of enemies against the party.
I do definitely see a ton of potential for the Riverine! I've already started thinking about an encounter that may work its way into our streamed campaign!
Great video as always. I'm running icewind dale right now. Now i can't wait to throw the tlacatecolo at my party. I have an owlin with the secret of olwbear whisperer. This seems like a great creature to get inside their head lol.
Hahaha yeeeesssss the talactecolo was one of my favorites from the book!! That and the whistler!
@@ConstructedChaos yea that whistler is savage. Would serve as great henchmen for a bbeg.
@@Feypresence I'm imagining a short questline involving a tortured town wherein everyone knows not to go near the well. A ghastly song emanates from it that infects the minds of all those who hear it. Party goes down to investigate and it's a maze of underwater tunnels that the whistler uses as a stalking ground from that point. Lots of red herrings and misleading clues while the party is slowly driven to madness :)
@@ConstructedChaos that is so hype!!!! I hope you're streaming that.
@@Feypresence Teehee! Maybe after the current campaign closes out! Things are about to get really streamlined, really quick haha. We technically have a deadline and things are getting close to wrapping up!
