The yearly cycle of cod
Next year, people will look back on MWII 🫤
@@xibalbagrim no
@Xibalba Grim, no way, there's absolutely no way the next cod can be worse than MWll besides the campaign
The yearly cycle of fleecing your customer's!!!
@@throwbackglitcher mw2 isn’t bad
People say it's the same every year, we look back at what we used to hate fondly as if we are crazy. But I actually think cod is getting worse and worse and the bar is getting so low that bad games start to look ok by comparison.
Vanguard was “ok” but I really had fun with Cold War especially towards the end of the cycle, it got really good
If it had been released in that state, I would've been 10/10
Vanguard and Cold War were tons of fun tbh, far better than MW19 and MWII.
@@DDog1125 w
i think a fun change of pace for multiplayer cod would be a multi-era mashup. the cod itself can be set in the future, and the campaign storyline can be focused on time travel and going to different eras. the multiplayer can follow this with maps and guns that are all part of different eras too (ww2, modern, and futuristic) imagine using a ww2 era ppsh on a futuristic map, or some crazy futuristic weapon on a ww2 map. it gives the developers so much room for updates because of how many guns they can add later on, also gives so much creativity for character customization, weapon skins, maps, they literally wont run out of content. not to mention the possibility of adding back fan-favorite maps and weapons without the need to customize them for the era the cod is set in.
Timespliters 2
Cod Online or whatever it's called was/is kinda like this.
Kinda described bo3 excluding the time travel and storline
Edit: and cod mobile
Or instead of all that, just make a game with different cod eras, no need for all this tinfoil hat time travel multiverse campaign
@@lordsotelo44_ how would you explain the correlation between the different eras? or the futuristic guns being used in ww2 era maps? you can’t just throw everything together with no reasoning behind it lmao
Marksman, you were the one that got me into watching streamers and while I don't watch your streams much anymore, I watch your videos every night. Never change! Love your content!
That’s literally why I loved this game it felt like black ops you just run and gun not a lot of campers like both modern warfare
Cold War was amazing. If they didn’t take league play out I’d still be playing it.
Anyone know which stream this is from? Or is this from way back?
Honestly I really enjoyed my time with this game. People hated on it for lots of reasons and yeah I agree with time of them. But it’s the most fun I’ve had on search and destroy in a while was on this game
People only hate once a UA-camr speaks out about their opinion, people are sheep, nothing less
i just bought cold war again today cuz it was on sale, i cant wait to play it again its so fun imo
the best cod out of the last 5 in my opinion 😅 the only post 2015 cod to get extra money out of my pocket
@@Dee-- for real, kinda disappointed they got rid of warzone 1 though
I think another issue with mw2 for me was the simple fact that they did not have hardcore at launch. How the hell did they not have a core mod that has been part of cod since day one, how was that not part mw2? Another issue I have with mw2 was the simple fact that we had shipment and dome and shoothouse so many times that you cant add these to a new cod and call them new maps.
Even worse that those maps are in rotation
@@EthanKorea I would not care so much about map rotation if they where good maps, but yeah it sucked. I uninstalled and started playing vanguard again.
Would love to see you revisit b04
Can't wait for next year where he makes a video on mw2 with a near identical title
Vanguard is what made me switch to Kbm for every cod now
I played this for the whole year it was out still come back to it some days since I’m done camos on mw2 and vanguard just feels better
I played vanguard the whole year me and the gang was in the top 250 for the last 2 seasons ( ~ RLMW ) and I actually still got it downloaded as well with the new one lol
For me it was the incendiary rounds and the grind. It took way too long to level a gun up. But I already had most of the guns leveled in MW2019 already while just preferring the time period in general.
They should either make ninja a perk OR completely remove it! If they remove it, they can make it so foot steps and other sounds aren’t CRAZY loud and people with Ninja are silent, instead they can make stuff much more quiet unless people are close around you… unfortunately the whole “sound whoring” thing got wayyy outta control!! You can get a 300$ headset & you’re basically having UAV 24/7… Black Ops 2 had a solid sound system. They should’ve just kept it similar
Best part about this game was the 500 round mg42 on zombies
Gotta specify when you say ninja. You mean a ninja perk that actually works.
Knowing IW, they’ll prolly add ninja but won’t do shit
I loved ww2 but never played vanguard(any cod), I play on pc now so I just play Tarkov and other pc games. I really enjoyed watching your play on the ol uss Texas lol
I also just love any World War1- Vietnam Era games
VG's AA was so strong it was the only game outside of cod4 where I went controller only. And then they went ahead and gave us such sticky AA for MW22 that's even stronger... like why
Vanguard has to be my guilty pleasure tbh I had so much fun on this game. I loved the chaos. Literally every playstyle was overpowered/broken
Dude vanguard was awesome. I loved vanguard. Cold war was better when I came back after like 2 months after it released.
Facts, never understood the hate for it tbh.
I loved that LMGs got to shine in this game, I wish the snipers felt better
(Gonna get hate for this I don't care) I enjoyed vanguard. I was one of the VERY FEW of people who played this game for its entire life cycle until the beta of MW2. This game was perfect in my opinion, I don't care about it being a WW2 game, developers are just gonna add some modern stuff into it. The guns in this game was kinda easy to use, perks was pretty balanced after they changed what perk goes where. The MW19 movement being kinda clunky was put in smoother in my opinion. This was perfect for console too. I had a blast on this game, I still lost my mind broken stuff at the times when they were broken. It may be the COD cycle feeling in me, but this was a great COD in my opinion.
I think a futuristic COD will be great but without the advanced movement
You're just describing Black Ops 2
@shotguncrucifix nah he's describing BO4. BO2 is damn near modern day now lol, took place in 2025
I played Vanguars til the last month because I broke my only monitor at the time and I was tier 100 within a week being AFK on Cacadera.
Cod Mobile on PC is the only cod in recent memory that I've been able to play for like 3/4 hours and then look at the clock and realize "oh shit it's been 3/4 hours I should take a break" 😂 I've genuinely enjoyed Cod Mobile on PC more than the mainline games...
I still think cold war is my favorite cod since bo3, i had so much fun with it, plus the zombies was absolutely amazing
Agreed!!! I've never had more fun with the zombies on any other game! I think it's the variety of things you can do with it for me. You can go traditional or turn up the dial and go onslaught, a little more maybe containment if you really want go crazy with it. And the fact you can enhance your weapon classes and field upgrades to get you to higher rounds
I think that’s what people don’t realize. The devs want the slow play movement to attract gamers who aren’t on a very high skill base.
Vanguard is my second favourite after mw2019. Have a lot of great memories with this one 😢
Activision: its a WW2 game!
Also Activision: *adds laser gun*
Jokes aside, i love vanguard and any WW2 based shooter
Vanguard Ranked play was Lit 🔥
I loved vanguard and the ww2 era but went back to mw19 snd and never got back on it
I still play this game regularly, it’s very fun.
i personally like cod wwii cuz i played it as a kid so i bought vanguard and it actually made me happy being able to play how i like and use some wacky stuff in my childhood ww2 game
Loved Vanguard...had much fun with it.
I loved Cold War it was a damn good time, vanguard was kinda meh for a bit but when they added throwable melee weapons it won me.
That axe was hilarious to use 😂
WW2 is what started the fan base. COD 2 was the first multiplayer COD set in WW2. Things did not change until COD 4 Modern Warfare and Black Ops when consoles got involved. Consoles coming into COD is what made things started changing. Don’t know why it was a good idea to allow pc and console to match make. It if would have been and always stayed pc vs pc servers and console vs console we would’ve been better off in the long run.
I loved vanguard, imo the only thing that was bad about it was how ridiculous explosives were. All it needed was a good perk like EOD and it would have been amazing.
Movement is so much better in Vangaurd. MW2 feels so clunky
You don't know what you got til it's gone
going back to it I’ve been having a blast and it’s so buttery smooth playing it on console compared to any other cod
I love the world war 2 era cods especially the what 2018 ww2 especially after they reworked the way the classes worked everyone left by then but that game is definitely perfect in my eyes since they fixed the way the different classes work.
I think the only problem I had with Vanguard was the packet loss glitch. I had bad wifi as it was and that just made the experience that much worse. I thought the game was decent though
I said the same thing about ghosts when it came out and now look at cod
If they re-made bo2, or made a cod in that same slightly futuristic era, and managed to mostly balance it while adding a bunch of little features like destructible maps and such right off the bat, it could be a game people would almost happily pay 70 dollars for. It'd sell so much better than recent installments.
The bad of Vanguard: spawns, packet burst, quick TTK, maps being like a maze design, visibility, terrible colors, ww2 setting, etc.
We all know all the shit you spoke of both Cold War and vanguard now it’s not that bad of a game lol
I was just about to comment that, haha. He ragged on Cw and Vangaurd so much, and now, all of a sudden, they were good.
Bc the newest cod is just so trash
These are still not the greatest of cods but the new mw2 is just that bad
I have second hand embarrassment for activision by vanguard’s existence
Vanguard was good quit hating
@@Cristian_D63 vanguard over MW2 and Cold War
@@MrBiGGs1039 cold war clears both put down the crack pipe
You are high. You must love mw2?
@@Dee-- it clears mw2 but not vanguard.
I think Cold War was my favorite overall out of the modern CODs, then WW2 and Bo3 for the PS4 era.
I really have no problem with van but when they integrated it with warzone it was annoying. I actually loved ww2 had its flaws but I also have passion for history so it was cool to me
I liked vanguard. Thought is had some good features. Plus I like the ww2 setting. Always have. Shame it died. But marksman you're right it had great movement and coldwar is amazing still
I loved vanguard so much but I just didn't like how high the gun levels went and how the best attachments were at the end of those levels and on top of the the weapon leveling was so slow. I remember I was using an AR that had like 70 something levels or something like that which is just ridiculous. Otherwise I loved everything else about the game (including WW2 era but I know that's a unpopular opinion)
Completely agree, forgot about that but the gun leveling was definitely too much
I can honestly care less if it was a ww2 game. I enjoyed the game a lot. The maps where alright but combat pacing made the maps run really well. I miss the vanguard cheese and I wish the devs put more effort into the game. I like and respect the idea they where going with but the execution was chalked. This really could’ve been a good cod
Having different teams making different games was always going to lead to wild inconsistencies down the line.
Cod Mobile showed us how much potential a unified Call of Duty experience could actually be.
Its been tough since ps5 doesn't have the most storage space without extra storage
Remove high alert and add in dexterity
Immarksman you should directly tell this to developers if you can they might listen to you
He does, they don't 😂
Cold War was probably my favorite cod over the past couple years, it had it problems but it was solid to me
I played this game regularly after it came out, in fact, much more than I have been playing MW2. I thought this game was way more put together than MW2
Same thing happens every year. New cod -> Hate new cod -> say previous cod is better -> New cod
Yeah most World War II games kinda suck but world at war is golden❤
Marksman literary talked shit about this game 24/7
Vanguard is all about speed
Vanguard is a terrible call of duty game. The worst
@@YouDontHaveOpps dont play it then
@@mrbenman97 I haven’t played it lmao. Never even gave them my money unlike some. Unfortunately everyone else couldn’t do the same if you like it you have no taste bud.
@@YouDontHaveOpps Why are you so upset? I didn't say anything about the game's quality, I said it was all about speed.
@@mrbenman97 I’m not upset ?🤣just saying vanguard is ass. No hate towards you
who else agrees that “Mw2 Remastered” isnt a remastered Mw2. It’s just a brand new game slapped on with a title
You know we're in a bad cod timeline when you go back to vanguard and cold war and describe them as freeing lol
BARK BARK BARK 🐕 8:17
The campaign in cold war was great
Didn’t know if this was vanguard or world war 2 only because I NEVER a thought anyone would disagree that vanguard isn’t complete ass
I think it's crazy how some of the highest praised cods are near-future with new things. They try to copy what works for battlefield, but cod simply is just a different type of fps. Near-future and future is where cod thrives, they just are scared of another infinite warfare.
What's funny is infinite warfare wasn't even that bad, I'd say it was mostly due to the supply drops. And even if you don't prefer advanced movement it was pretty solid.
I've been saying vanguard on paper is one of the best cods, has its issues don't get me wrong, but if u look at everything it does, for the most part is designed to help the user experience.
You should make a video with cold war next.
Carbine is pronounced like car-bean lol, I learned that when I moved down south
Just wait till MW3 comes out and we are reflecting on the greatness of MW2 😂
I spent $70 on it then played overwatch because it's awful 😅
love vanguard movement
The cooper carbine still strong
Ima keep it a buck the ninja perk is op im glad that its not there. dead silence is the right move but they should turn down footsteps and i feel like it would be alot better
I actually didn't mind the setting of Vanguard. The issues I had with it was SBMM, tons of bugs making the game run like shit, poor weapon balance and weapon grind, terrible zombies mode. Unfortunate thing is I bought Vanguard for zombies because I thought it would be like BOCW's zombies but boy was I wrong there lol.
As a zombies player no just no but as a multiplayer meh it was better than cold war but cold war had decent zombies it's like we can't just get a good game that has both anymore.
I was actually never tired of vanguard. One of my favorite multiplayer experiences! I never grew tired of it, but was obviously excited for a new game because MW2 was hyped so heavily
I thought he was talking about Cold War
I wish 2019 had two years of support like full support cause then Cold War would have been able to have more time maybe even have the movement like 2019 and yeah vanguard was a bummer that it was in the world war era
Movement in 2019 was rubbish lol😂😂 movement in cold war was actually good unlike mw games
Never played Vanguard skipped over it to mw2, also I loved ww2 between the different take on zombies and the multiplayer as a whole, I wonder if anybody still plays it?
I miss vanguard so much, just felt natural and more easy to play w movement and audio in general. Plus pc was easier to, didnt feel like controllers had such a high advantage.
I'm just glad I mainly play cod for the campaign so I'm not to worried it's the same fa.e everything the only difference between any of them really is the setting of where they are and what the story's about
They should just let marksman be in charge of next cod and do all decision making bout the game, hands down it would be the absolute best cod in history
I loved vanguard idk why everyone hated on it lmao. Most fun I had in a cod game in a long time cause of movement and competitiveness
Isn't this the same CoD that marksman legit announced he was taking a break from CoD for the foreseeable future 'cuz he got so frustrated with it though....??
As a zombies player Vanguard is beneath my shoe and will stay there
I deleted mw2 today lol, got cw again
Now the game deserve respect. I can’t understand you professional gamers.
Vanguard is my favorite CoD since Black Ops 1 and I’m not afraid to admit it
Woah now 😂😂
Well that’s something...
If they would have really nerfed the shotguns and lmg's in Vanguard it would have been so much more enjoyable to play search on.
This is my fav cod
from shitting on Vangaurd to it earning your respect. respect.
I think to make a cod fun and interesting they need to make it like cod mobile and add everything into one multi-player experience but add yearly titles but as a dlc or just as a campaign
imo i think people compare all new games to mw2019 because it was the best game we’ve gotten in the past years, it’s the same as people comparing everything to bo2 and mw2 we can’t do that anymore
Marksmen quit vanguard early too
