@@iitzpepsii Well none because in Australia we gave to pay $100. Last cod I bought was mw2019. Other than that last game I paid $100 for was Halo infinite which I enjoyed the campaign. I have other things to do so gaming isn't my life.

If the devs were more transparent and interacted with the community feedback more I feel like things could be fixed much quicker, considering it always feels like talking into a black abyss when it comes to communicating with any triple A company

To them almost none of these things need to be fixed since they’re intentional mechanics and they only care about the experience of the bottom 20% of players, and things like slow ads speed and worse movement help them
I'm pretty sure the devs *wanted* to be transparent. In the studios, out of everyone, it's usually the devs that have our backs. The *management* on the other hand are the ones that have the final say so, and they couldn't care less.
why do you think Fortnite was and still is such a success?

The staged reloads are still one of the most annoying things they’ve ever done. A decade of reload canceling is engrained into your community but you just decide to take it away for no reason.
It isn't a crazy learning curve to just think abt how many bullets you have left. Or to know when to bust out the secondary! "Switch to your pistol, it's faster than reloading!" Has been a quote from cod like 10 yrs ago. Now that we have quickdraw attatchments it's even more relevant with how good pistols are in this title...

Those devs at Infinity Ward know what we think of their game. They just care about their vision and pleasing other fanbases who they are trying to reel in more than they care about dedicated players. I deadass thought the non-moving while having ghost thing was a glitch, ever since they fixed it in MWR it completely balanced the perk out, but in this new MW2 game it’s legitimately a perk to HELP campers…. LIKE HOWWWW

Yeah i agree i had the same issue with MW the player collision system is god aweful.
Oh this shit is infuriating. I can understand body blocking in a more competitive game, especially one with team damage like CSGO. But when I'm playing a casual match and die because my moron teammate ran in front of me while I was shooting an enemy, I get flustered. When this happens 7 times in a match, I get furious.

I honestly hate the perk system more than anything. ghost needs to be fixed and at least made a perk 1 category. Cause they made uavs to OP and easy to get.
Yeah having to wait for your perks is dumb and obviously done to benefit campers. I also noticed that stims don’t restock either which is annoying as it really helps with pushing people.

@@AveOnAddy yeah I meant that in mw2019 that stim would just restock automatically without the restock perk. I run fast hands too, shame you have to wait for it to activate because of the shitty perk system.
The worst part is that this isn’t just a COD issue. You see this shit across the entire market save a couple standouts. They don’t make games anymore they make experiences that are supposed to manipulate you into spending money. I really hope the casual player base catches on and stops making these games millions of dollars so we can go back to games being about fun not player retention and micro-transaction profit.
Honestly with the bugs (especially) and lack of content alone, the community should stage a class action lawsuit. $70 for an incomplete product, zero accountability and here's the big one....ZERO lack of worthwhile communication to the fans. Absolutely unacceptable.
Well said. Props to you because you play this game as part of your job. Can’t imagine the hours you put into this game and feeling the need to rip your hair out. I can’t play 1 or 2 matches without wanting to turn the game off. I want this game to be good too. SBMM has been the biggest downfall for a lot of people. Call of duty is just not fun anymore.

I stopped playing MW2 once I got the new weapons from the BP and haven't felt the urge to boot it up since. It's been a couple weeks. The game has it's fun moments but is overall pretty draining. Even Overwatch 2 is more entertaining and it's in a weird state.
Thank you for calling them out on all their dumb decisions and mistakes. Their biggest mistake with this game and MW2019 was not listening at all to their player base on how to make the game better and more fun for everyone. It's as if they're saying "We won't be taking any feedback as this is OUR vision for the game and you will just have to deal with it!"
Why would they listen when people were spending $20 every month on buying new skins every month for a year?

Pretty sure they did that last bit during the beta. Where we asked for basic stuff to come back and they basically said "thanks for the feed back, but we're gonna do our own thing. Because it's our game, not yours"

It's safe to say they could care less about the user experience, they're in it for the money and once a new game is released, they're already getting ready to build their next game. I'm still surprised ppl eat COD's sh*tty games up still. They put you in a cycle of losing so you'll spend more time playing the game but ppl are too dumb to realize that.
It's honestly pretty depressing. I grew up playing call of duty right from cod 1. Then on my 13th birthday when cod4 was new, I got it and got hooked on it ever since.
Just seeing how far the game fell is so sad. It almost feels like they're just killing the franchise on purpose at this point. I really want mw2 to be good, but hope is lost :/

I'm so glad you made this video. Agree with literally everything you said. Quit playing a week ago or so because there's zero incentive to play anymore. I see nothing changing.
Two things with COD that brought us to this point
1. Too many games modes that separate the community, and that tends to give the devs top priority on what to fix and what not to fix
2. COD has a serious identity crisis, they don't know what to be or how.
I've been saying this for a while now. It's almost as if someone is deliberately making bad choices. No way they make so many bad choices by accident
My friends and I are playing once or twice a week at most now. In previous cods I'd play solo if no one was around, but now I don't bother unless I have friends on. The super strict sbmm combined with the frustratingly long and over complicating weapon leveling are what ruins it for me. These two components, designed to keep players engaged, work against one another and make me just not want to play. That's not even touching on the other issues the game has. Marksman is right, you'd think for a franchise that's been around this long, they would have gotten a clue by now.
Yeah man playing this game solo is insane! I could do my best and still lose every match, most my friends are just casual players so they have a hard time, and look I understand you can’t win every game but going on a losing streak the whole night and only winning maybe 2 times is just crazy to me!
@@zach13342000 Because all engagements are based on luck now. One of the primary things that makes a game fun is getting better on it, in CoD you never feel yourself getting better because of SBMM and on MW22 it is impossible to make a meaningful difference no matter your skill, because all of the techniques that you can master with skill such as movement and aim have been completely removed. In past CoDs you could slide, jumpshot shoot and do all that at the same time, in this CoD the ads time is twice slower than the TTK, you cant shoot when doing anything other than standing still practically...
Its ridiculous - the most sure way to guarantee you win engagements in CoD now and rack up the most kills is to camp one of the hot points of the map and just beam all those players actually moving because they literally can't shoot back 90% of the time...
No wonder everyone is installing hacks, it seems like the hackers are the only people getting enjoyment out of the game.
MW19 still feels like the most well out together COD game in 10+ years. This game has really failed to live up to that.

MW19 introduced heavy sbmm, loudest footsteps, meta weapons, PICCADILY, but atleast it's better than this mess it has 1 button mute, working radar, decent perk system, this cod has literally nothing going for it. I even found the campaign frustrating trying all this new shit like jumping on cars and c4 an OP tank, like bro i just want to run and shoot guysstop trying new shit and fix the original shit. Oh and rocket league rip off, so cheap.
Indie game dev here, If you have a team the size of a small town, then there is no excuse to not make a fantastic game given the amount of time they spent in development. The fact that this was the product of years of work is impressively bad. Its like the devs have no former knowledge of their past games.
Another huge problem is the "Shadow Bans" that happens to a bit of other youtubers from time to time. Kinda seems like if you exceed a certain amount of reports it'll automatically put you in Shadow Ban lobbies until you're account gets reviewed (which can take up to two weeks) happens on all platforms (including Xbox and Playstation)
You’re are completely right, the devs are shamelessly ducking us over and over again. Side note, you have been the most consistent Cod UA-camr and the most underrated. Only cod UA-camr which i watch

Fuck it feels good hearing all of this come from Marksman. Makes me feel like my issues aren't just in my head, especially the issue of how this COD so heavily promotes camping and playing slowly; totally kills the whole experience for me.
Just to put it into perspective, I bought every CoD title from Ghosts to Cold War. I put probably 50 days at least into BO3 and that was my favorite game ever. Also played the shit out of BO4 and CoD in general. I haven't even considered buying Vangaurd or MWII
What blows my mind is just how broken it is on such a basic level. Take the voice channels for example, I’ll be in one with my buddies and all of there names will appear as a random person on the enemy team instead. Or when I was playing DMZ and all the people leaving had there names overlapped. These aren’t game breaking issues but they seem so minor that they shouldn’t be problems to begin with. If they don’t care enough to polish up basic stuff then the game is going nowhere.
Thank you Marksman. While I know you're not really one for Hardcore mode it should be noted that no one asked for Hardcore to be removed in favor of Hardcore Realism. Also. If they're going to force the Hardcore mode players to play their replacement mode they can at least give us updated playlists to match the on going core playlists like shipment 24/7
my favorite part is when my class 1 gets all the attachments taken off for no reason after games and i’m scrambling to remake the class in 8 seconds

I’m still trying to figure out why they can’t add guns that were fan favorites from OG cods. Add a intervention, add a Barrett. Put stuff in the game that people love instead of trying to input some prototype weapon that has never seen combat

Apparently the SPX sniper is the intervention even though it feels nothing like it. Idk if it’s still in the game or not but if someone gets a kill with the SPX the intervention outline pops up in the kill feed.

You have no idea how happy I am to hear you speak out about this marksman! This game really does suck, SBMM, Bad hit reg, campers campers campers, EVERYWHERE! The game is almost unplayable and just flat out boring to play! the game caters to low skilled players to make it more fair for them than the skilled players who play the game the way COD was meant to be played. makes them more money pleasing the masses, you earned a sub! 👍👍👍

I seriously cannot agree more with you. I started with cod4 and quit with ww2. When I saw this game was coming out I was excited. I thought it would feel like the original mw2. The fact that the game didn’t even launch with one single mw2 map is a huge slap in the face.
Its incredible how you practically just said everything I've been thinking. I often question myself why I even play the game, because with how the movement, ads time, ttk and maps are all done it feels like almost every engagement is down to just luck if you win, there is literally no skill gap at all in this game.
You could have an literal aimbot and all engagements be down to just luck, because if your actually moving around then it doesn't matter how great your aim or gamesense is because if someones holding a position it is practically impossible to flush them out.
The biggest problem is they don’t have people like you working for them. They need to hire more gamers to help guide or deter some of the decisions made.

i think a big problem and you slightly talked about it but the gap between the actual game playing devs and the cooperate side calling the shots is making it a shit show. they try to do all these flashy new things just to make it seem new when all we want is a better version of what we had in 2009.

As someone who is currently in School for game design I can agree with what u say, it's probably because most of the people working on these games have experience developing games but no experience playing or developing call of duty, that's probably another reason they made it easier to get ur score streaks
Your points are unbelievably accurate. Only thing is I personally do want to play a MW2 Remastered from 2009 and not a bootleg modern double sprint, slide canceling, ledge hanging sh*t of a game with the title being the only close thing to it
Marksman, please try and be reasonable. You have to remember that this is a smaller studio with a smaller budget and not a lot of experience. Since this is a newer franchise, they might not be sure what works and doesn't. Also, they probably don't get enough feedback online from players.
I agree with most of what you say . That being said i feel of course Single player games will be better as. they can make the game how they want and force us to play it a certain way whereas multiplayer games have multiple playstyles available that they have to try to appease (lmao) . I think they should start implementing certain features in certain game modes ie. Ghost takes you off radar completely in S&D vs U have to be moving with Ghost in respawn . Ghost doesnt have to work like that , idc , just an example of how the different gamemodes can differ . Will definitely take time if they didnt even have this idea
You hit every nail on the head. Once they started using the likes of previous games, maps, guns to entice I knew it was the end.
Not sure if you're still a COD partner or not, but I love this video. So good to hear someone who's been playing COD for years say the same shit I've said since launch.
Marksman I totally agree with everything you said. My biggest complaint is the new maps. I miss the randomness from each one on OG MW2. Certain maps really gave certain areas of guns better use. Wasteland vs Favela etc...

You know what’s crazy? Epic Games literally abused a loophole by making their game a BETA, just so that they could listen to feedback and fix issues FASTER. But Activision and the COD devs do the opposite of what we ask for when it comes to feedback, and if they decide to fix something, it comes at the expense and of breaking 15 other things

My biggest issue is ghost bullets and duel deagles awful hit detection, I’ll be literally 2-3 metres away from an enemy and get zero hit markers while duel wielding with max hip fire accuracy…wtf

The thing that drives me crazy is how so many gunfights feel like a toss up regardless of equipment or connection. I have a PS5, xbsx, and Corsair with a RTX 3080 and sub 30 ping a lot of the time and I feel nerfed mid fight all the time.
This is the first cod I’ve bought and stuck with since bo3 and idk I’m having a lot of fun on the multiplayer, tho its been a huge culture shock seeing the state that call of duty is in now they’ve not only regressed in 7 years
Heh, the funny thing about the mute button. I set the mute all-game chat to F9. It would bug out and mute every sound in the game besides the voice chat and would lag and crash the game a few times 😅

As a average player who has been in cod since the first game, Marksman knows this stuff that’s why I watch him this is so campy and all the little things go out the window. I would love to see the major cod tubers do a collaboration and make their own version of this I would gladly leave all this behind for y’all’s version of cod battlefield etc.. what do you think?

I’ve always thought that it would be a really good idea if the devs brought in people from the player base who have knowledge of COD such as yourself to get your opinions on what they should and shouldn’t do when making a new call of duty
