I actually have a rebuild video for this carb on my channel! Just look for the more recent XL videos and you'll see it! There are also service manuals on my website, click the Manuals link on blastworks.net/
Hello, what is your workshop book? I bought enduro Honda XL125S from 1998 and there is some stuff to repair but i can't find manual for this model anywhere.
I sent you a picture of the manual I have via Instagram so you are familiar with the book number, which is Clymer manual M318-4. A quick google search of that number will yield multiple places to buy the manual.
Hey Shane! Just take a quick measurement on the petcock or the carb where the fuel lines hook up, it should be pretty straight forward. I use 3/16 inner diameter fuel line on mine!
Hey Quincy! The only things that needed to be plugged in were the coil (grounded to the motor) and the plug wire. The ignition portion of the harness was shorted to act like the key was turned on. That's it!
If you take the serial number from the bottom of the motor and punch that in to a Honda serial number decoder (Google) it should tell your exactly what year and model your engine is from! Mine is a 1980 XL185s motor.
@@blastworks does not seem to work. Maybe some shit because I'm in Europe. The number decoder dose not seem to exist. L125SE - 5205230, is the number on the engine. And shows it has 6 gears. There is some year difference with 5 and 6 gear engine I think. Anyway, thanks for the nice videos u make!

Do you need to screw the pilot jet screw up into the carb for a faster idle, or down?
As far as I know, the pilot jet should be screwed all the way in (if it is removable) and should have no impact on idle speed.

@@blastworks Great. I'll do that . Thanks
What’s the needle position
I believe I have mine set in the middle notch. Depending on the climate where you live, this may have to be set differently!
How did you get the engine running, like what electrical things did you have to plug in

@@blastworks you did'nt need the cdi box to get spark
