Geez I've got an old gibson my grandpa played in church back in the 60's thru 80's. It needs a neck reset and is split on the sound board beside the small E side of the fret board extension. I ordered all my tools to do the repair many years ago. I've watched countless repair videos. I know how it's done, but still can't bring myself to do the job lol.

Nicely done Scott, I was worried at first about the bridge plate thing, but it came out great. I always thought of you as a finish guy but you showed me a different side of your talent. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the great vid. I rebuilt and old "Lakeside" parlor with white oak back and sides. It's wonderful. Thanks again.

Nice job. I would use silk/steel strings on those types of guitar, because of the lower tension & warmer sound. Thumbs up from me!

Fantastic job. Such a cool little guitar, too; I love 12 fret parlor guitars. You definitely did this one right. Very nice.

Interesting approach in taking off the neck with an alternate method to steaming.

Great job. I enjoy watching repair videos on old guitars, bass, and drums and amp repairs.. i do say you ha e some big ole balls working on old ass guitars.. I'd be super worried and afraid I'd ruin something beyond repair lol

This size plays great. I have a brand new Stanford Golden Era that exact body style (perfect for me who's petite). No boxy sound. Amazing!
I'm not sure if the Washburn parlors still play great. I was once tempted by one...Thanks Scott!🎶🎶🎶

White ash shim, really dumb but I chuckled anyway. Great work Scott. I love those K&K pure minis. But they amplify the exact sound of the guitar. I would have liked an unplugged sound demo. Just did a neck reset and bridge move on a homemade kit guitar for a client. You have a good eye for color. I use amber shellack for age. It works perfectly most of the time.

Great video! I’m always blown away by the big sound of these small guitars. I once played a 30’s martin 0-28 I think it was. Not sure of the model but it was very similar. Its volume and tone blew me even in a large auditorium at a crowded guitar show. Recently I won a ca. 1918 Weymann at an antique auction almost exactly like this washburn. It’s in rough shape and I’m on a waiting list to have it restored. I can’t wait to hear how it sounds put back together.

Doug Proper sent it to me. I believe it’s part of a stainless steel dental scraper kit. 👍🏻
