You're the man Ginger On Wheels! We appreciate you doing the range test for us. I'm sure it would have been brutal on the EMOVE since it has so much range. I even understated your range test by saying 52 miles.

    • @thecollinzboy
      @thecollinzboy 3 роки тому +1

And when you got the 57 miles out of it what was your riding habit like? We’re you passive and just cruised on flat planes without much stopping? Or were you aggressive and accelerated to max speed and had to stop and go a lot and were you going up hills a lot too?

I own an emove cruiser. Notes for prospective buyers of this and others in the class:
    1) Range as stated is deceptive. Travel at 20 mph and the range drops considerably. Also, power is reduced very noticeably when at 50% of range and much more so the closer to 0 you get.
    2) None of the scooters are waterproof similar to most ebikes. Try not to ride in the rain. Don’t trust ip6 ratings as the fine print usually doesn’t match that.
    3) Scooters are less practical than ebikes and EUCs. The small tires limit things like off-road/pothole-ridden/brick riding in ways that larger wheels can overcome.
    4) Most scooters are built for 200lb riders. Weight limit ratings don’t mean a lot as far as I’ve seen. Don’t be jumping off curbs with this scooter when carrying 2 people.
    5) This is probably the best 2-person scooter I’ve seen. Mine is slow and tops out around 20mph with two, but it can fit a large child whereas with other scooters I wouldn’t want to try it.

Good honest review. Speaking from experience, I would recommend unscrewing the top of the deck and sealing it up with some silicon sealant. Especially if you’re planning to spray it with the hose like that. Awesome range and good speed.

Alibaba is easy to explain what you need . All you do is take out the opposite screw or bolt and take a picture of the screw and where on the scooter it came from . Also its always best to ask for a bag of spare nuts and bolts and screws for the scooter for the future.

5:36 I am glad that you showed that squeaking sound the suspension makes. That would get on my nerves quickly. For the most part this and many other videos dont have actual sounds while riding. Mostly background music or talking, not showing real sounds during ride on different surfaces. 7:16 we can hear that horrible sound for a second when he stops his ride here too. 10:41 I guess that "jumping" looks much better than it sounds.

Other things to know before you buy. Mine arrived with the rear fender slightly bent so it rubbed against the tire making a terrible noise. The volt meter also arrived with some of the display not working so you cant read it correctly. I have the Ninebot Max G30 and top speed is 19mph for me. I usually cruise around 15mph and it's the perfect speed for cruising and enjoying the road/site seeing/observing my surrounding. As soon as I step it up to 19mph it's was more for the thrill, trying to pass something, just because I can, at 19mph the focus is the road/path which takes away the enjoyment of the surrounding. If the Emove top speed is 25mph, I think this is more than enough for most people. I think the Emove will be my next scooter because of the range and it's not sluggish by any mean either.

I never knew something like this existed but I just moved to Denver and lots of people have them so I thought I would look into it. I am 300lbs so I figured I wouldn't be able to find anything but I think I am gonna give this a try. The extra wide deck and huge battery is really what sells me on it because as a larger person I need the extra stability and power. These are so cool I almost bought a tricyle for like $1500 that was gonna have to be fitted with a kit to make it electric but the motor was not nearly as powerful as this thing plus it was a bike with a seat which is way less comfy for a 300lb person. Even with an extra wide seat traveling on a bike sucks lmao. But standing on a scooter deck I'm pretty sure I can do that. Ooooh I'm excited now. Gonna see if I have a dealer near me.

I currently ride my first scooter, a splach ranger that does 22mph, 20 miles, weights 48 lbs, and now considering my next ride but hopefully a dual motor (for hills and bridges) performance commuter that’s portable and under $2k. I’m willing to wait for what i want. 53 lbs is barely acceptable (i live 2 flights up); wishlist : stem & deck lighting and horn with buttons on the handlebar for being seen and heard; no headlight (i prefer handlebar space to put a headlight with the lumens i need instead); rubber suspensions (read how nicely they perform compared to springs); thumb throttle; sine wave controller; turns signals are good for some folks who ride nights, if they flash the ground to the sides and they’re bright enough (cars barely pay attention when any vehicle uses turn signals, so i let everyone proceed before i turn); future wants : stem brazons on the handlebar riser for a small rack/water bottle cage; am i wanting too much? Oh i almost forgot, a future concept for the design team specialists: a slow dual drive gear with enough deck height to clear steps so you could walk along side the scooter holding the handlebar as it drives itself up steps (then the modest extra poundage isn’t a problem); yup, i’m really looking to the future,

I am all about power and don't care to go super long distances. I love the extra power of dual motors. However, you are in the pacific northwest where it is very wet. The VSETT 9+ does have a IP54 water resistance rating. If you don't expect to go over 25 miles in a ride, the VSETT 9+ is a sweet scooter due to its dual motors.

I like the 9+r a little more simply because it's dual motors and the stem locking mechanism. The EMOVE Cruiser has a wider and longer deck, but the front does have a little flex. However, you will spend more money on the 9R+ and won't get as much range. But few need the full range of the EMOVE Cruiser.

@@Andrew-vt4jt appreciate the reply and advice! Sadly there is no retailer for voromotors here in NZ😞 so aftersales parts and service may become challenging. The EMOVE brand will be the most watched electric scooter today. It is safe and convenient, travels at any time, shuttles through the streets and alleys, wherever you want to go, you can enjoy the fun at ease. In addition, its appearance design is generous and stable. There is a sense of the times. More importantly, after-sales service is more admirable. In short, I like EMOVE, I have personal experience, safe, stable, high-end quality, the only trustworthy choice.👍👍👍

This is just another "review" among the hundreds already out there. You can tell they either don't own one or they've never talked with anyone who does. I have owned a Cruiser since the summer of 2020. It is NOT water anything. You are lucky it is still working after spraying it like that. Take the front off and see for yourself how there are exposed circuit boards and wires in there. The controller itself is not encased in any water-protective element. Someone should ask VORO to present their waterproof testing certification and explain what steps were taken to achieve it. The nuts and bolts on the Cruiser are constantly coming loose. You need to tighten them or at least inspect them before every ride. Other than that, I FUCKING LOVE my Cruiser and wouldn't trade it for anything! VORO's customer service is top notch. I simply don't ride through the rain and never, NEVER squirt it with water. The range is amazing just like these guys said. Definitely recommend the Cruiser, but please don't squirt it off like these knuckleheads do. You'll thank me. Again, don't believe me? Go ahead and take the front part off and look inside....

Finaly someone honest about the water issue! Thx stranger on the internet hahaha
I had the same problem, rust and mold was starting to form inside because of the water and dust sitting inside, and one of the controller screw was rusting.. Plus other stuff about the back light and stuff (dm for more if you want to know more stranger reading).. So fortunatly VoroMotors was really nice and sended me another controller and other stuff (I am glad they are really nice people and try their best even for someone oversea like me). In all of that, what I did now it's just, covering all connector and electronics with the liquid rubber from Bostik. That should prevent any water to reach sensible electronic parts. For the throttle and other electronics on the handelbar, I just used some transparent spray seal that make a nice protective layer on top of the PCB. So ye, quite the work but worth for the amazing scooter that I am loving! Plus, because you can open it up all easily, it's easy to fix and play arround with it, like someone o saw making a new rear fender and stuff and like me next think changing the break with full oil break 🤩

Please understand, VORO Motors does NOT make this scooter. It is entirely produced in China.
The deck is NOT as wide as it appears in any video. The usable area of the deck is 7.5 inches wide. The edges of the deck are sloped downward an additional unusable 1.25 inches on both sides, but this area will NOT safely bear the rider's weight (because your foot will slide off the scooter).
It is possible that tall riders (over 5 ft. 10 in.) might NOT find this scooter comfortable or safe to drive because the handlebars have limited height (45 inches, max from the ground).
VORO Motors makes it very clear that the scooter should NOT be washed with a jet of water. Why do you repeatedly show the scooter being sprayed with a water jet from a garden hose?
The brakes are of moderate quality. They require regular tuning if you ride every day.
