...and there's more to come! I currently have enough footage to last until mid-march so I'll be keeping you entertained in lockdown every Sunday until then. ⭐
Please do! Its a great place to visit; wide platforms, benches, tea shop nearby and some local shops as well. Even a level crossing not far from the station if thats what your into 😃
Thank you very much Imperialist! I haven't filmed much of this region recently but I think that it is under-rated and provided a lot of great variety. ⭐
Another great compilation, great to see a mix of freight and the older Networker types! Something to be said for filming in the winter sun as well from an atmospheric standpoint 👍
Thank you very much! There's always plenty of variety on the Northern half of the Chiltern Mainline. I was very lucky with the lighting, this time of year is famed for being very dull so i thought it went well considering.
Yes it was/is! Some say the 172s are boring but personally, I don't see them much and they sound great so it was a worthy change from the West Coast! Great tea shop on the station as well. Highly recommend a visit if nearby. Thank you Ricky 🙂
Both great suggestions! I was planning to do it on the second week in January.. Apparently, a GWR HST visits them on a Sunday.. 😉 That one will likely be up very quickly after lockdown ends. Thanks for watching James 🙂
That particular 68 (68013) was involved in an engine fire not too long ago, I believe the loco is at Crewe being repaired. Hope you are doing well Robert 😃
@@StarlifeStudios 🤣🤣 your vids are great, it's remarkable how good the quality and zoom is on it. What make and model is it of you don't mind me asking :-)
It’s a Panasonic VX1, it’s a great camcorder if you’ve got the money. Hands down one of the best purchases I’ve made. It’s a complete step up from my previous videos. 🎥
Oooo, both great suggestions, Wimbledon is tough to film at because of the fences on the fast lines, I'll see what I can do though! Thanks Lord Everything ⭐
@@StarlifeStudios yeah Wimbledon is tough. I myself want to go to vauxhall or queenstown Road when the 701s are entering service. I guess once the virus is in the past( which will hopefully not be too long) it will be tonnes easier to trainspot.
When the West Midlands Railway Class 196 Civity trains enter service this year. Will they terminate at Dorridge. As West Midlands Railway will operate them on various routes including to Stratford-Upon-Avon, Hereford, Leamington Spa and Worcester. And to work alongside with the Class 172/0 and Class 172/2/3 units. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_196
Nor me! Chiltern isn't my home territory so the 172s and 168s made a nice change. That entire stretch of line between Syston and Ely isn't given much love. Ill try and work on that in 2021 :) Thanks Chris!
Hi Colin, I would love to go back to Grantham. I previously visited in 2016: ua-cam.com/video/8DWnBDdhiFk/v-deo.html although things have changed since then! Thank you for your suggestion!
I've checked over the information I've displayed and can't find any errors Pokefan. I'd be happy to correct the error if you can give me a timestamp. Thanks.
Lovely compilation at Porridge... DORRIDGE...
Haha! That would have worked but you missed the 'G' in DORRIDGE!!! Thanks for watching Jacob, its always a pleasure to provide you with content. ⭐

Didn't realise you would release another vid, a very nice surprise in my recommended! Brilliant Video as usual

Same here! Thanks for Watching as always EJC 🙂 ⭐
Excellent railway video as always, got a nice compilation of trains.

Thanks for the visit Nathan 😃
Mega variety you had at Dorridge station. Looks an interesting station with trains on the fast and through freight lines :-)

Thanks, will do! 😃 This was your suggestion and it was a great one as well!
Do trains at East Tilbury please
Hi Craigy, Pitsea and Barking are both on my list of a visit as soon as possible. Thanks 😃
Is it just me or did 168002 sound a bit like an old propellor airplane flying past very quickly
Great video! 😀 How is the class 68 doing?
That particular 68 (68013) was involved in an engine fire not too long ago, I believe the loco is at Crewe being repaired. Hope you are doing well Robert 😃
Some of the 168s could do with fixing, they all look like they are falling to pieces at the front.
Great vidieo :-)
This ones right up your street lads! Glad you enjoyed 😃

The 196s replace the 172s. Most will operate on WMR’s section of East West Rail.
good video btw please can u do the next vid at watford junction
I have not yet recorded a video at Watford Junction although I promise it will get done in 2021. Thanks for watching 🙂
@@StarlifeStudios ok thanks a lot
nice video. the 3rd track at the beginning is for terminating services am i right?
Think so most if not all WMR services terminate at Dorridge or Stratford-upon-Avon I believe
Dorridge a rare station for spotters
Good vid
Thank you Samuel! 😃
Cracking video, not familiar with the Chiltern mainline, some interesting trains going through, do you think you film trains at March station 😃

@@StarlifeStudios if you ever need to do London to birmingham seriously consider chiltern, they're trains are as comfortable as they are fast!
After this video can you do Gatwick Express Station
How do u know all the destinations of the trains including the freight trains?
Realtime Trains
Marcus is correct, I use a mixture of Realtime Trains, Traksy and Freightmaster for my destinations and train headcodes. Hope this helps 😃
Try Hanford or tackley station
why did the 68 have 5 carriages instead of 6
Im not exactly sure TTV 🤔
I normally call this station, porridge
What about trains from Grantham????
