Dorridge is a very beautifully kepped station, I must agree, very productive session indeed Jarred, I thoroughly enjoyed watching, up to the usual high standards, keep up the good work and a like from me as always
This station was excellent to come to, I must admit I had my doubts once I had finished at Solihull but I was pleasantly surprised to say the least with just how stunning this station is, the care that has been taken into keeping the station as dated as possible but also up to a high standard that we would all expect from a modern day station. Plus the variety in traffic really helped here along with the fact that this time around there wasn't any issues with the line expect from a broken down train in London which actually helped me seeing as the 68 would've arrived the moment those 20's passed me had it not have been delayed. I'm glad you enjoyed the film, I'm looking forward to going back to Leamington Spa and Banbury. Not so much the warwick stations if I'm honest because much like Solihull your views are limited and the stations are extremely basic. But we shall see in due course.
Great video Jarred. Really enjoyed as always. I live between Sudbury Hill Harrow and Sudbury & Harrow Road stations, about a mile away from both and I hear the 68s clearly from my house. They sound and look amazing indeed. Amazing locomotive. Great to get the 20s as well in the video and lovely station Dorridge.
thanks ever so much for saying so I'm glad you liked the film, I love the area surrounding the station you cant really go wrong here, you can hear the 68's powering up from god knows how far away hahaha, those 20's were definitely the highlight here for me
Something happened on the ECML today. I was leaving Huntingdon on a Great Northern 365 to Peterborough and half way through the journey, something happened at Holme Level Crossing. We had to stop in the middle of fields for at least 30 minutes. It wasn't just us that had to stop. Virgin trains and more Great Northern's had to stop. Sorry if I comment on too many of your videos
I haven't seen anything on the news or the net so I couldn't tell you what could've happened. Either a broken down train or someone trespassing seeing as that section of the line is very easy for people to access. Atleast that's what I think could've happened. It's ok you can comment on my films as much as like
+Tornado922 thanks for your reply. I have no clue what it could be the driver just said we need to stop here as something has happened at Holme Level Crossing.
I'm glad you enjoyed it :) Well I don't know what the frequency of the loco hauled services are going in either direction if I'm honest. But with fingers crossed I'm sure you'll catch one
I would have to agree with you albeit apart from the 82 which really doesn't count ;) I class it working with the 68 which obviously blows everything away
great video and way to go 3,5k you certainly didn't hope for it when you started. Hope you are fine and hopefully soon 4,0k :) fantastic job be proud ;)
Thank you very much, I defiantly wasn't expecting to get it so quickly but I can thank all my subscribers for that! Love doing what I do. Thanks again :)
Okay look, off the bat you need to be careful my son. Speed addictions can cost your life, careful! But Holy Shite! That was a blur of power what a surprise I give it 10/10. 2:55 Oooh, more speed. I love the colours, Dark Green/Yellow and Lime/Black just brilliant. 66111 is a monster, pulling and not breaking a sweat wow! That Class 70 ?? It was pretty sweet as well. 66957's Pilot was doing a little T.T. run, wonder if he filmed it? (At risk of his job though) Haha! @ 19:22 (Shout to BBC) You can hear the Ol'Boys coming around way before you see them, that's awesome meng! Great almost finish too! She came in with a glow, as bright as the angels and a snarl only a dragon could comprehend. When she exhaled, flesh ran from bone and upon leaving your presence the earth itself would tremble. Great station. Awesome work. Thanks so much, sorry about the Gob! B.P.
Thanks ever so much I'm glad you enjoyed watching this, it was a fantastic station to come to. Plenty of traction throughout from a variety of different companies. Colas Rail definitely have one of the nicer looking liveries in my opinion. It compliments the design of the 70's really well. Obviously Freightliner works on them but the Colas colours definitely work more. I didn't realise at first how close I was to the edge of the platform when the 220 came roaring through. good thing I wasn't any closer to the edge otherwise that could've been fairly interesting. I will definitely be coming back here one day. Probably earlier on the day so that I can catch more freight
Yeesss, interesting indeed! Colas Rail eh,... (typing in new window)... okay, Yellow/Orange with Black top haha, that's busy but nice still. So all thanks to you, just be safe is all. B.P.
After you finished your Chiltern Railways Series from Birmingham Moor Street to London Marylebone, can you do St Pancras Thameslink platforms and half of the video on Platform B and the next half, do it on Platform A. And when you arrive at St Pancras, go straight ahead turn left and go down the escalator to Platform B and start filming on the beginning part of Platform B and then film at the end of Platform A and do a very long video.
I'll think about it but I can't make any promises. I already have a few stations I wish to get done once I have completed this current series, but I will try at some stage to get this station done.
what app do you use for freight train times because i go on to real time trains and i cant get it up would you know?... because if not people should maybe create a web for freight train time that would be nice...
I was looking up Dorridge to scout for spotting locations and this video popped up and so glad it did, thanks for sharing
CLSS 68 My favourite sounding and mean looking train at the moment. what a BEAST ,great video and a BIG THUMBS UP FROM ME
Thanks ever so much, the class 68 was definitely the most stunning that day
Dorridge is a very beautifully kepped station, I must agree, very productive session indeed Jarred, I thoroughly enjoyed watching, up to the usual high standards, keep up the good work and a like from me as always
Thank you very much :)
Great Video Jarred! Lovely station, so lucky to see the 20's and always nice to see the 68s, 70's and 66's!
Thanks very much mate, apparently those 20's are a regular working along the line so be prepared to see more of them further down the line ;)
And with this video I may have discovered my new favourite station on the CML!!!
Great video Jarred, it really does look like a fantastic station

excellent job jared i've been to dorridge before mainly to see railtours come through here
Thanks very much, this was a great station to come to!
1.00 onwards for a few seconds you can still hear that 68 they're so loud!
They have one of the best engines currently in use on the network
The best trains of this episode were the fast voyagers, 66, 70, and68 82
I would have to agree with you albeit apart from the 82 which really doesn't count ;) I class it working with the 68 which obviously blows everything away
Great video!
