Im glad TfW adopted the class 67 and mk4s, mostly because it gives me an excuse to go down to my local station at 20:00 to see one on 1V50 during the weekend
No problem! It was pretty bad at the start but I’m glad it cleared up for the 67 😃. It’s always a bit frustrating when you plan (often months in advance) to visit places and the weather doesn’t go your way. Welcome to England.. I mean Wales! 🤣

Excellent video Ross!! Still find it mad that TfW run 2 cars from Holyhead to Cardiff!! A decent variety none the less and I like the addition of the extra information and what not! Excelleny to see the NMT departure and some nice tones throughout as well
I have heard that Avanti West Coast have started using the Class 807 Evero on the London Euston-Birmingham New Street service. Mind you the Class 805 Evero that replaced the Class 221 Voyagers are very nice.
So I focus on two things, lighting and positioning. Although it might seem like a lot of these shots are unplanned, I actually put a lot of subconscious effort into making sure that it’s the best possible shot. My advice, 1. Avoid direct sun, the more sun you have the more washed out it tends to be. 2. Plan your shot beforehand, work out where you need to stand to see in both directions with limited obstacles. 3. When editing, increase the saturation and brightness, cameras don’t do the world justice, probably 104% brightness and 109% Saturation is enough to show the colours as we see them. I hope this helps and Good luck! 😃👍🏻
Holyhead was one I was expecting my grandmother used live there but the variety of trains is amazing ! Thanks for sharing 👍

3:47 this was one of the trains involved in the crash
Really fixed up quite quickly
@@thatuktrainguy it was most likely before the crash
@@BHXplanesandtrains oh yeah this was filmed on the 6th month
Great video
not sure if anyone else noticed but the three trains at the beginning of the bid are his intro+ logo

2 car 197 from Cardiff to Holyhead, that is the most TfW thing ever haha. And I'd bet money the toilet's broken too.
Nice
How do you always get the lighting to look so good? when I'm filming on my camera which is the same as yours the lighting never looks as good

It might be called The Network Measurement Train. But some of us call it The Flying Banana.
why are alot of trains to Holyhead late
'flying banana ' about then?
