Some New Adventures took forever to slog through. I had to come to this one several times over a few years before i could finish it.
I can't wait until you get round to reviewing some of the much MUCH later VNAs. hearing you praise revelation for being foundational to the revival makes me yearn for you to read something like return of the living dad and realise kate orman should've been writing for the show come 2005, or running it even
Love this book i will dark doc = best doc
Hope you're having a good day
This was the book that made me decide to be more choosy about which of the New Adventures to buy. Not a fan. But, also not a fan of Cartmel in general.
2:22 So instead of the negative emotions doomscrolling generates in us _destroying_ society inch by inch, little by little, it saves it? Well, Doctor Who has always had some wacky ideas.
Your review of this book really aligns with my view on it. There is about a third of the book that could have been removed, and it would have made it better.
loove this one personally. totally fair criticisms and i agree with a good chunk of them but it just _grabs_ me. the opening scene w/ the slingshot? maybe the peak of dr who as a character for me. i rly hope you like transit lol
Heard about that opening chapter before I read it, it's what got me so excited! It's such a great image, for this Doctor in particular and the Doctor in general. There's plenty to be grabbed by so you have my respect
If you flow wait till you get to the Pit
Oh, I've HEARD about that one
