Privacy is one thing, safety is another. We had some bushes we let grow to 6 foot out the front of our bedroom window to enable us to leave the window open 8 inches and bolted for airflow. We were also able to leave the curtain open as no one could see in. After being out all day we came home to find the wooden window had been kicked in miraculously without breaking the glass. Yes, a lot was stolen but the point is that the bushes in front of the window covered them breaking in. We now keep them below window ledge height and if we go out at night the front door light is left on.
This really has to be the first time I ever watched a video of someone cutting grass. I came to the channel from the link in the short. I'm happy I stayed to watch, because I was floored when he said FREE! I didn't see that coming. Yall are amazing, and did an amazing job reforming that property. Hopefully now, the residents can see well enough, without looking through a jungle, that they don't pull a gun on the next good hearted person, coming to lend a hand. Im happy this worked out for everyone. I don't even want to think about what could have happened. Besides, this video has been up for awhile, and about anything I can think of commenting about the bad part, has already been stated.

When your property doesn't look abandoned you're less likely to need to greet visitors while armed😃. What a fantastic job you guys accomplished. Looks wonderful!
I like how in the one scene and elderly person with a wheeled cart walks on by down the sidewalk. This points out the free mows you do not only help the home owners, but, others around the home as well. You can be sure that person will be happier going down the full sidewalk with no weeds next to cut lawns in the future. SO you benefit far more than just a person in the home (or make an abandoned place look better). You benefit the area. Nicely done.
In my area if you don't keep your sidewalk clear you get fined, that includes snow removal as well. The cool thing is I don't think anyone has ever received a fine in my town for a sidewalk not being cleared of snow, that seems to be the one thing in town that the kids love to get out and do, and they do an awesome job too. I live out in the country so I don't have to deal with that nonsense...just lots of leaves, and found a group of kids last year that wanted to help...ruined their fun right fast when I told them I don't use a rake I just mulch them up with the mower LOL. Although, this year I might give in and let them have their leaf raking fun and give them some spending money.
Great work guys! Amazing how you stayed dedicated to your word and to the Grandma.... t's irritating how the family got immediately involved with the CHAOS when you showed up but never lifted a finger to help clean up the place before.... they are the reason the place became over ran and over grown in the first place.
