For years we were surrounded by elderly neighbors. One of the last ones to pass was over 100 and still in her home. Yes, we kept in touch, helped when we could with meals etc., and did wellness checks off and on.
We TRIED to check on our next door neighbor after not seeing lights or any movement for over two weeks but he threatened to shoot my husband !!! Is sad no one cares anymore. Thank you for caring sir. Good to see your son, he certainly has grown up.
@shirleyanneyoung955 I am this way. I keep to myself. But some here seemed to have said they talked to her, and then it just stopped. But then again not always much you can do if you don't think she's in there
@@ChrisWijtmansviolate their rights??! What a stupid comment! She could have died in the house or fallen, broken something and was unconscious. Looks so great Erik. I have noticed that when there are plants around the home with flowers on them you leave them and clean up around them. I notice a lot of other UA-camrs weed eat right over them or mow them over without a care. And you are more caring with the way you prune trees and others take off way too much and make the trees look worse. You do excellent work and you got a hell of a good little helper in Landon. We found our neighbor deceased on his couch once after not seeing him for a week. Very sad to see him on the couch sitting up. He was very discolored and bloated. Im glad we checked on him but i cant un-see what i saw :(
Had that happen to me about 10 years ago when I lived in California. The guy was on disability and one day his daughter's boyfriend came over and entered and saw him sitting on his couch, unresponsive. He knocked on our door, freaked out thinking he might be dead. My ex and I went and checked on him, and he was cold with no pulse. Called 911 and paramedics and cops came and verified he had died. We had just seen him the night before. He seemed a little out of it then, but he was usually pretty heavily medicated so we really didn't think too much of it at the time. Then the next day........ It was sad. the dude was a nice guy. I think he was 57. Not fun finding him that way, for sure. Just glad we found him when we did.

Yes we check on ours, we live in a 55 plus manufactured home park and I think we are about the youngest couple in here being in our 60’s!! I hadn’t seen my neighbor across the street in about a month and I started to worry so I sent my husband across the street to this man’s house who lives alone and when he walked up to the front screen door our neighbor was in his recliner sawing logs🤪👍👏! My husband started laughing and the next time we saw him we told him the story about me being all worried and how he was in la-la land sawing logs 😂! We love our neighbors and are there for them any time they need us!! GOD is Absolutely Good!!

I'm sure that the entire neighborhood appreciates what you've done with this yard. And I'm sure the property owner ( whoever that may be ) appreciates your work too.
Hawk and Man were the 2 words. Landon has been doing a spectacular job and what a Dad you are for showing him the way of kindness and service. More parents need you as an example. Thank you for all you do for the communities you serve!
Maybe she's in a nursing home and/or passed away. You'd think the neighbor's would have requested a welfare check weeks ago. That's a big property for an eldelrly lady to care for.
I moved into a senior complex four years ago and asked if anyone checks on people when they've not been seen for a while. No I asked because two residents were found in their apartment. I now have reached out to a few and check on them and they're doing the same. We must do better and look out for each other.
Your son is a hard worker who is apprenticing with one of the hardest worker on youtube! Trust your gut on this one, call the police just to be sure she's not in there.
So crazy your 2 words are Hawk Man. My husband's best friend was known as Hawk Man. He passed away in 2010 and this brought him back for a moment in time for us. Thank you. I love your videos. 🙂
The first word was hawk and yes Landon is doing amazing. I was thinking before you said anything about what a hard worker he is. You are teaching him well. Good job dad. We need more parents engaged in their children’s lives.
Erik what a wonderful job you did as always. Sad nobody has lived here for 10 years. You always did such a lovely job on this property. Your son has grown a lot and he is so strong like his Daddy, God Bless you kind and faithful servant.
Erik, I can't believe how much Landon has grown! As a parent of 2, ages 36 and 37, time goes by too fast. Talk about bittersweet. The yard looks fantastic! Excellent job!!
if nobody knows what happened to the elderly person who lives or lived there perhaps the neighbors who are or were her/his neighbors should request a wellness check on that person
Right before you said how great Landon (I think his name is) I was saying to my dad.. this kid is awesome, never seen a kid on any of the channels be so good.. it’s like he’s already professional! You taught him well, I’m so impressed.. I watched some other channels I’m not going to name and the kids just are not very good at doing the work so it’s kind of frustrating to watch but wow he’s so good! 👏
A property that large is worth a lot. Since it’s clearly abandoned I guess that 1) she is passed away and 2) her death was not noticed. In which case her remains would be inside the house. However the house was clearly boarded up for a long absence so the mystery remains.
Hawk and Man 2x please. Great job once again Erik. Love seeing Landon working with you too. Give us an update if you ever find out what happened to the poor little lady.
Your son is such a hard worker. We had a neighbor when we were first married that we talked to every day. We didn't see him for a couple of days. My husband took care of the building and went in to check on him. He had passed away. Sad he didn't have any family. Words are Hawk and Man.
It's really odd that nobody called the police on her to do a wellness check on her. Eric if her neighbors genuinely cared about her, they should have done a wellness check on her long before you show up to clean up the yard for the neighborhood. Eric please let us know what happened to that lady if someone called in a wellness check on her.
Hawk man. I help 12 people around. I’ve mowed some but mostly weed eat. I’ve had a stroke and can’t do as much anymore. If I do too much down for a couple of days. Just have to be smart take breaks don’t rush.
Hawk Man , I love your videos very addicting and inspiring. I wish I had the ability to be with my son and work on my yard with him. May God continually bless you and your family.
One of my neighbor ladies died on her lawn mower. I live quite some distance away and I kept thinking "that mower is sitting in one place running, I wonder why?" He brother and his whole family lived feet from her and never went to check on her, never noticed the mower wasn't moving, nothing. Another neighbor came home later I heard and saw her slumped over the steering wheel and called for help, but it was way too late by then. I bet that mower ran out of gas, and her lazy no good family never even looked out the window. Thats some sad stuff right there.
I do check on my neighbors and help them any way I can. That looks like a really nice neighborhood - it's a shame that the neighbors don't at least mow out by the street just to keep the neighborhood looking clean.
Hawk and Man, we're the two words. Eric, you and your son did a great job. You have a big heart to do what you do. And I'm glad you found out she was ok and living at another location. ❤ what you do for others, keep up the great work.
Landon is a great worker! He really did a good job helping. The finished product was so amazing. Question: neither one of you were wearing gloves. Don't you get blisters?
Your son did great for his age, you guys made a huge difference in that house 🏡 I'm hoping they check inside the hose and make sure she didn't pass away in there.
Hawk. LOL. 1ST Word. That youngster that's helping you is doing a great job! I enjoy watching you! I used to mow our lawn when I was much younger but now appreciate when my neighbors weedeat mine! (I'm 78 now😊)

This is so kind that you do this. What a wonderful, hard-working son you have. I know you are proud. What a wonderful work ethic you are teaching him.
That young man has a great work ethic and does diligent tasks well.
Maybe she's in a nursing home and/or passed away. You'd think the neighbor's would have requested a welfare check weeks ago. That's a big property for an eldelrly lady to care for.
Neighbors don't care !
It sure is.
They could put her name in google and see if there is an obituary for her. If not, maybe she is in a nursing home.
I moved into a senior complex four years ago and asked if anyone checks on people when they've not been seen for a while. No I asked because two residents were found in their apartment. I now have reached out to a few and check on them and they're doing the same. We must do better and look out for each other.
@@dorothytotty1173 So true.
You’re raising your son to be a fine young man! WOW! What a great job you both are doing! Thank you!
Landon s doing an awesome job. He has grown so much, his slender frame packs strong muscles !
Your son is a hard worker who is apprenticing with one of the hardest worker on youtube! Trust your gut on this one, call the police just to be sure she's not in there.
Lovely to see your son helping out these lessons in life are priceless and great to bond together
Erik you did a tremendous job. Beautiful yard to honor this lady.
Wonderful work you both do helping people ,your son is a hard worker and does great job.❤
It amazes me that people have these huge back gardens and don't grow flowers, fruit and veg.
I would grow veggies and pumpkin and watermelon
so much extra work perhaps ??? 🤔
Maybe she is not physically able to do any yardwork or gardening ...
You and Landon know how to Kick some Major Butt with Muscles and Equipment. Thank you for having such Huge Hearts and Cleaning up the Neighborhood. 👍🙏
I love how you use the grass catcher! Makes the yards look so much better!
Thanks for leaving the flowers 💐
If you noticed , even living some distance away, why didn't you go check or at least call 911?
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭❤️🙏❤️
I do check on my neighbors and help them any way I can. That looks like a really nice neighborhood - it's a shame that the neighbors don't at least mow out by the street just to keep the neighborhood looking clean.
Maybe they will after this, if the lady is prepared to trust one or two of them.
Hawk and Man, we're the two words. Eric, you and your son did a great job. You have a big heart to do what you do. And I'm glad you found out she was ok and living at another location. ❤ what you do for others, keep up the great work.
He did ?
Landon is a great worker! He really did a good job helping. The finished product was so amazing. Question: neither one of you were wearing gloves. Don't you get blisters?
Your son did great for his age, you guys made a huge difference in that house 🏡 I'm hoping they check inside the hose and make sure she didn't pass away in there.
Magic words are: Hawk and Man. What a yard!!! Good job.
Hawk. LOL. 1ST Word.
That youngster that's helping you is doing a great job! I enjoy watching you! I used to mow our lawn when I was much younger but now appreciate when my neighbors weedeat mine! (I'm 78 now😊)
Your channel is turning into the twilight zone besides that thank you for your kindness, compassion and service
Not at all, didn't expect this to happen thats for sure
Great job Erick & Landon! I'm super impressed with your Son & what you're teaching him! I hope the lady that lives there is okay!
Let us know how the owner lady is. We are all concerned now that none of the neighbors have heard from her. Looks like a nice house.
Amazing! God bless you always for your kindness
You are such a good man for helping others, your son is going to be a good young man with all that you're teaching him
I can't believe how tall your son getting I like watching your videos you all have a nice week and 4th July it's my birthday today but he doing a great job
Love how you are doing these yards to help out the neighborhood's in your city. Love how you have your son help you. That is teaching him the value of hard work and doing for other's. Thank you for you doing this for other's. Love your work.
She may have died in the home, should contact police.
Must say you have done a remarkable job. It is huge and happy to see your son helping out. ❤😊
I’m female, do my own yard work and if it’s not 98 degrees I wear jeans. Never know where the snakes are.
It’s a blessing to see your son working hard with you to bless others. I pray the lady is well, although circumstances sound iffy. I would have called 911 for a wellness check on her as soon as I noticed I hadn’t seen her in a while.
The two words were HAWK MAN. When I heard you say HAWK, my mind went straight to Eye (as in MASH), lol.
Thank you for all your efforts to help others. God bless you and your son Brandon! You’re doing an outstanding job!
Hawk Man
Ur son is a beast at such a young age.
Ty for giving motivation of things I have to do by watching u both do things u do out of kindness
Great job Landon. I bet he sleeps well at night after helping you out Erik.
