I am new to spinning and am going to try this technique on my next spin. Also, I see that as you spin you sometimes grab the fibre in your left hand. Does this just help to keep a more consistent spin. I am still getting a mix of thick and thin though I am getting better each time. Thanks
You will love spinning a fractal spin. I am glad you will try it! That is a habit I have from spinning on my charkha. It does help me spin a more consistent single. I hold the fiber between my hands and twist it the opposite direction to take some twist out then I draft that little section and let the twist redistribute. Have fun!
