The most common question I get is “it’s pretty, but what can you make with it”? You can knit it into a cowl similar to the simple rules cowl pattern. It would shine the best woven, as a scarf or a textured pattern row in a woven shawl or knitted hat/scarf. One of my favorite uses is in tapestry weaving. Knit Knot and Weave bought some of my deep art yarn for a weaving project and I can’t wait to see how it looks when she is finished! Another way you can use it is in crafting. I have some crazy red, grinch green(hence the name “Grinch”)gold, beehive coiled yarn that I used to make a cool Christmas Tree. I glued it around a foam cone tree shape and it looks awesome! I am sure there are other ways to use it too. Limited only by your imagination!
I loved watching you make these coils and bobbles. I had no idea how they were made. I think couching the yarn onto fabric would be amazing. Can’t you just see the yarn edging collars, or being stitched onto the front of a wool coat in all sorts of sinuous curves? Or even used to adorn a whole short jacket? That would certainly be some very creative hand sewing! Finn gets cuter and cuter. Thanks for sharing him as well. harpingJanet
I have no idea how that work?! You could probably spin the thick and thin, and commercial core, but I can not imagine how you would ply it. If you figure it out, make a video!
@@jkfiberartsYes.. am thinking on it. I just chain plyed some of the hummingbird batt and am pretty excited about that. Not perfect but it does look like yarn! Come to think of it there are a couple of knots in it, I can just say they are faux baubles...

Hello!
I see only beautiful necklaces! I like to put my hanks around my neck. They are so soft and pretty! Thank you for sharing!❤
Hi! Thank you for watching! You are not the only one who would wear them as necklaces. ❤️😁
I think I would wear the skein as a necklace! Seriously so pretty, now I am trying to figure out how to make these with my drop spindles.

Gorgeous yarn, I love it, although I am curious about how best to use it.
