The reputation and business you have built over time is amazing. Been watch you for years and see you slowly grow. You have put in the hard work and get to clean cars like this. Well done.
I'm really kind of irritated about this because up until THIS video I've been looking forward to retiring at 50 (in 4 years) and opening up my auto detail shop and/or wood shop (because I also make furniture) and I'm thinking that the 'HAVES' really got us 'have nots' snowed because it's suddenly our privilege to clean their 2 million dollar cars. I'll turn this euro trash away every single time if I ever get the opportunity to do so, choosing instead to clean Bobby Jo's aunt Millie's '03 disaster van because I know it's going to actually matter. Man...I need another hobby.
On the other hand, these guys showed a lot of poise and ingenuity in this detail and as a hobbyist detailer I can appreciate that.
Yeah, some of the first videos i saw were of detailing the wife's Subaru in the driveway, and look at him now! 🤣
Very impressive, and much deserved!
@@arrozconmgtow5026 Don't think you need to worry because I doubt someone who refers to cars like these as "Euro trash" would get a lot of opportunities to detail them anyway, especially when said Euro trash is developed and built in the US.
@@arrozconmgtow5026 Yeah, no one would allow them to details their 'euro trash'
I am 100% certain that every auto detailer out there dreams of becoming as sick as AMMO NYC. The fact that you guys get to detail so many "one of a kind" cars is beyond epic. I love your channel and I love the cars. So amazing.
OMG, the only detail video that can top this one is when they have you detail the Millenium Falcon!
Imagine 2 $ Million Dollar Car 😂
I think that’s coming up next week 😜😂😂
Imagine removing all that history from the Falcon 😆
I know you've done things outside of cars, have you detailed any motorcycles? I think that would be interesting to see how you'd approach it.
Second this ^
He did a dirt bike on the Drive network.
As GtstangLv said, there is one on the Drive Network: ua-cam.com/video/rDW6i9VIK4M/v-deo.html
I have this Car In my garage, Yaaa i have one but in ASphalt9☺
I would like to see this
Nothing better than an episode of Drive+Protect, thanks for sharing Larry, much love and respect for your work and salutes from Colombia
Fun fact: The 003s starts from $1.8m, and Glickenhaus only built 3 examples, with a loss made on every car, as he supposedly put over $20m into the project.
Anybody her also a "luxury" watch fan? I'm assuming the appreciation for engineering and craftmenship here translates to the micro mechanical world of quality watches.
Yep, started to do some amateur watchmaking myself. I think it's the same kind of mind most of us here share. I bet there's quite a few of us guitar players here too.
Always love videos with Derek, he's got a ton of knowledge and great energy, you guys work so well together.
Derek’s the man! :)
Agreed
I was thinking damn there's still spots there... humbled by my dirty monitor D: Insane job, amazing attention to detail.
Man I love watching this stuff. Just makes me want to go out and detail another car. In fact, most of the time after watching a video, I will go out and practice something I have seen in the video on my own vehicles.
The effort and "detail" that you put into your work is exceptional. The problem solving and how no two details are alike is an education. It is such a pleasure to watch. Thanks for the video!!!
I've been waiting for this episode for absolute ages...!!! I believe you showed us a teaser of this detail 2-3 videos ago. By the I absolutely love you videos. Keep up th good work. 👍🏻❤️
Your videos just keep getting better and better, Larry! Wishing you endless success. Respect the hustle!
Great work guys on an Amazing Car. I always look forward to a new video and the opportunity to learn something. My son and I's Detailing just keeps getting better and better. Felt good this last weekend. Sunday is wash and clean day getting ready for the next week. We had been noticing a neighbor bought a new car. We went to see it up close and congratulate him. He was out with the hood up and it looked like he was cleaning the engine bay. We talked about all the 'Love Marks', Do's and Don'ts and never hesitate to ask us anything. In ending, he was super grateful for the chat, advice and said "thank you, you guys have the nicest cars on the street".
You’re attention to detail is amazing, really like the wood trim
Wow! Anther amazing video Larry, you and Derek killed it as always! Thank you for sharing!
Another much appreciated, info filled, entertaining video! Thanks.
We do learn a lot from you small stuff here and there... Thanks a lot.
I gotta say your one of the best car detailers I’ve seen on the internet and I used to be one but i never use a polishing machine I’ve only ever done it by hand only because I find I have more control over my work and I’m learning new ways of doing things by watching your videos so I say keep up the great work mate and thank you
Then you haven’t ever been a detailer bro… Sorry to break it too you, You absolutely MUST have an above average understanding of Machine Polish, Paint Correction & PDR(Paint-less Dent Removal) the last one isn’t a must but to be able to go above and beyond makes you a far superior detailer and sets you apart from the saturated ‘I have a drill brush so I’m now a detailer guys’
Larry, I love the fact that you keep outdoing yourself...jaw dropping work...
Exquiste! The paint clarity n depth after your buffing is incredible!
This guy doesn’t only do detail. He does R&D in detailing. Awesome!
Reminds me of the Mach 6 from the 2008 Speed Racer movie. Glickenhaus never fails to make something amazing!
Dude. What detail work. I can only imagine how much better it is in person. Astounding.
Amazing ride!! 🤯
Fabulous video Larry 👍🏻
What an automobile !! I have never seen the like of that in my life. So cool. Thanks.
I just like to say I love the content of the cars and the cleaning tips you guys do some amazing contact
Wow that car is stunning I love it - you did a brilliant job well done to you both of you xx
Awesome video! A great way to start my Sunday. Btw, love the smell of Shag!
Fantastic work !!
It would be a dream to get my car corrected by you, great work.
Such an amazing video!!!
Unflippinbelieveable... Thanks for bringing us.
Ur the only person I seen make a new car look newer 💪🏾🤣 beautiful!
Excellent work!!
Another AMAZING! video. Thank you for all the love and the invite pal.
This is one of the coolest jobs ever!
This guy is a pro.. I'm impressed.
Great detail on a car with a face only a mom can love
I just picked up the 3" Rupes. What a great tool.
Hi Larry! Big fan of your videos!! Lately I’ve seen some matte cars and discover that not all detailers have videos explaining this type of paint, and how to deal with it and maintain it, hope you can delight us with your knowledge and expertise in a video if you can and how AMMO products interact with matte or satin paint 😁 Thanks a lot anyway for all your excellent videos! 💪🏻👍🏻
Great machine great detail !
Love those Exotic details😍
Just watched this vid first time seeing your channel in one word WOW what a great job on it. didn`t know you have so many products to clean a car. Very good job.
Thx for stopping by :)
Great intro sequence! I agree that tight shot at the back is excellent. Definitely shows the design level. The square dash though seems inconsistent with the rest of the car though.
The attention to detail… passion
So happy to be a young detailer in Ct this state really does have nice cars all around
I love these videos, I wish I had the opportunities to do this stuff.
The SCG is absolutely gorgeous, even when it's "dirty" ! haha, great work guys
A detailers dream!
Love the wood splitter!
Great job!!!!!
You do a really good job God Bless
Ooh Sunday I finished getting my wife's car and mines all done for the week and come in and get to watch a new episode of AMMO Oo Baby!
Damn why are ur videos so satisfying ?
I would buy it for sure, no question about it 😍
Will the Glickenhaus 007 have a smoke screen and minigun headlights?
Amazing car ✌🏻🤘🇺🇸
Must be crazy on the road lots and lots of head turning 🤣
You and your budy did a great job ✌🏻🤙😎
Wow thats AMAZING! Most will not really know that it would benefit from such a detail until they get it done and like he said at the end it looks like a different shade. Very well done as always and looks like if i am lucky enough to win the lottery i know where to move to 😉
mobile detail is my gig I have discovered a passion for it always wanting to learn faster and better techniques. but you my guy are the mr miyagi of Detailing 🙌
Need one more guy? I live in N.Y.
It would be an honor to work at your shop.
Stunning car
You'd never expect this in Danbury, didn't know you were there. Super cool to be about 20 mins from you
Still my favorite videos to watch nearly a decade later
beautiful car
Next level
Also like to add my compliments to Derek's work. The only person whose ever going to notice is whoever takes the wheel off next yo replace the tire. True pro!
One thing is every normal car guy envy about high-end car detailing, is that you can do things to so many beautiful cars, absolutely awesome.
30 min ago? Perfect timing.
Actually these small bits for vacuum cleaner are so usefull i was amazed with the job they make in interior detailing ..
I got the exact same kit from ebay, I think it was around €12. So handy to have
im so surprised ive never heard of that 003s before. what a wild lookin machine. what a contrast to the old lemans in the other bay.
to me it looks almost like a mix between a senna and an LMP1 car and i love it
This is my favorite Glickenhaus car
This is pretty awesome and your channel is pretty cool and very informative!! I do have 1 question, why do you guys not start on the inside then do the exterior? This is just for guidence!
Would it be possible to do an in depth video on how to do single stage paint
I’m curious to see how the bottom of the wing looks after few drives. That exhaust is shooting right into it
I love it
That car is soo beautiful
Whats good Larry! Love the transformation and conditioning of the vehicle! You hustle and passion never fails to impress!
Question, 4:13 when you use the towels for the contact wash, do you use them again for the next use as a wash mitt? Since it is microfiber just like wash mitts, I would assume that the same principle of care and maintenance of these towels/mitts still applies. Just wanted to know your thoughts on this. Personally I like using the multi towel method, saves time/water/product, but sometimes I wonder how many times can I use that same towel for the contact wash until it gets used for another use case.
Correct, we use multiple towels to reduce scratching. We’ll wash them and reuse of course but for wiping down something like 003S, switching out towels as soon as they collect dirt is important
The dots you see (at least for less expensive cars) are the suction cup marks from robots as the parts are moved from one transfer line to another in the factory. The paint is so soft, that suction from the rubber cups leave these marks
Hii love the vids 👍
Water is gonna come shooting out of those tail pipes all over that beautifully detailed paint you guys worked so hard on.
How do you maintain your paint after buffing it? You can only do it so many times right? Would a ceramic coat be the way to go?
Your skills are untouchable. Are untouchable. I wish I could afford to have you do my truck but but now my truck feels so inferior after seeing this video lol
I hope in the future see the Greek hypercar CHAOS!!!
Loved his Ferrari P4/5
James Glickenhaus is merely a genius.
@AMMO NYC have you ever detailed the inside of a transport trailer? To keep contaminates from falling on the cars while they're taken to events like Pebble Beach?
I'd be interested in your opinions on ceramic coatings for vehicles that seems so popular by detail shops.
Can you please share what brand 3 inch polisher do you use. Thank you so much.
A neighbor got a RS6. I see what you mean by those huge rotors. Wow! Quick question, your pressure washer. What is the gpm on it?
the prices just keeps going higher
It reminds me of the enzo
That car is one that is not very common on UA-cam, but every time I see the 003, it has a real shock value, it's one of the only cars that looks so much like a LMP car, but not like a clone.
Larry, do you have a water softener or filtering system on the water to the shop? Probably not necessary since you air dry the cars.
cool car
Count on larry to point out the paint defects on a 2 million dollar car. Lol....much love and blessings from the Caribbean Larry
Is this the most expensive charged detail you’ve done? If not, what’s the most you’ve charged and on what car? Love the channel!
Holy
I have that same small vacuum kit LOL
Great vid as always! What's the outro song?
man thats a fucking cool car.. had no idea they made road cars. looks like a lmp for the streets... love it
