How can you say that you can install GSI on any devices? The phone in video (Redmi Note 8) supports Project Treble by default and I bet you can't install one on non-treble-compatible devices. So...... This video is *NOT THE SAME* as the title describes. In fact, only the device which ships with ⚠Android 8 and above⚠ supports GSI while the others will simply refuse to boot up. Stop scamming to make money!!!😤

Hi. Do you have any tutorials about porting rom to device with similar specs? I have Redmi 5 plus and Redmi 4 pro. They have same chipsets and overall specs. Can i port rom from one to another?

You do this using Termux application on android.
.br mean brotli a compression format brought by Google itself.

From what I understand in this video.. it's just a way to back The current ROM on the device..
Porting simply means modifying system image or vendor image for a particular device
If you listen me in the Video, When i started video I mentioned that "This is GSI Porting, so that you shouldn't have to Install the full process again & again." It's not a ROM Porting😌

As we both know.. GSI are configured to work relatively all treble devices. Meaning it will contain multiple pack of drivers..
Am interested in re modifying it (removal and replacement of some files) to work specifically for a device . Or limited range of device
@@TechKaran based on multiple trials... I have observed that MUI GSI ROMs are not compatible with mtk treble chipset device..
