This simple two color stitch provides a lot of texture and uniqueness to your next knitting project. It is simple to do whether you are knitting it flat or in the round. Complete easy to follow instructions are provided in this video for both flat and in the round. I hope you give it a try,

The two color knit stitch (flat)
Cast on an odd number of stitches
Row 1: with color A - K1, Sl1, K1, YO, pass over the slip stitch over the K1 and YO stitches repeat till two stitches before end, K2
Row 2: with color A - K1, Purl all stitches to last stitch, K1
Row 3: with color B - K2, Sl1, K1, YO, pass over the slip stitch over the K1 and YO stitches repeat till last stitch, K1
Row 4: with color B - K1, Purl all stitches to last stitch, K1
The two color knit stitch (in the round)
Cast on an odd number of stitches
Row 1: with color A - Sl1, K1, YO, pass over the slip stitch over the K1 and YO stitches repeat till last stitch before end, K1
Row 2: with color A - knit all
Row 3: with color B - K1, Sl1, K1, YO, pass over the slip stitch over the K1 and YO stitches repeat till end
